"Colder than Dad's heart"

It was early in the morning there was a blizzard of snow outside.

Aeynora opened her eyes like a baby after genesis. She was on a bed and she looked around. Then she turned around and almost kissed Eliás. She tried to back off but Eliás had his right arm around her. She giggled and leaned back on the bed. She took a long breath and exhaled. Then she grabbed her phone, which was on the floor and she checked the time.

It was forty-three minutes passed five o' clock. Then She unlocked the phone and checked the texting app. She saw nothing important so she clicked the screen off button and kept her phone by herself and she was letting Eliás feel her warmth. Eliás and Aeynora were so close that Aeynora started to sweat and she was blushing. She thought,

"I wish we were like this since the childhood, I wonna remember this moment as a part of my life's halcyon"

Then she closed her eyes. Her eyes started to shred tears. Then Eliás moved his arm and Aeynora wiped off her tears quickly. Eliás woke up to see Aeynora's resplendent eyes closer than ever before.

[Aeynora] : Hey! Goodmorning!

[Eliás] : Oh... Yeah, Morning!

[Aeynora] : It's really cold.

[Eliás] : Oh? What's the time?

[Aeynora] : Almost six.

[Eliás] : Is it snowing outside?

[Aeynora] : Literally a blizzard.

[Eliás] : Damn, you wonna wake up? I'm sweating somehow.

[Aeynora] :Oh... Um... I wonna touch some snow...

[Eliás] : Same.

[Aeynora] : Alright, let's go lil boy!

Then they both got off the bed and got themselves prepared for the day as usual.

After few hours,

Eliás turned on the television and started to play some videos. He yawned and checked his phone for any updates from friends and others but he had nothing and he was desperate at that point of time.

Suddenly, breaking news popped up on the TV screen.

"Kanard has shot down a long range spy drone over the airspace of Mauryaraj.'We will not hesitate to use our firepower if Kanardian military acts are committed inside the borders of Mauryaraj' says the military wing leader of Mauryaraj."

He paused the news.

[Eliás] : Hey Nora! Check this out!

Aeynora was in the kitchen.

[Aeynora] : What?

[Eliás] : Come on dude!

Then Aeynora came to the living room, with curiosity.

[Aeynora] : What is it?

[Eliás] : Look.

He resumed the news. And after watching it,

[Aeynora] : What the... Kanard and Mauryaraj again. They're always at war, dude.

[Eliás] : Real.

Then Aeynora took a seat on the couch, next to Eliás.

[Aeynora] : Oh, Umm... Again, do you think Dad really loves us?

[Eliás] : Well... I'm really confused after what you've said earlier but it ain't compelling.

[Aeynora] : We can't live here anymore. I'm anxious.

[Eliás] : I don't know dude... we lived here for 17 years as we both know, We got penury right now.

[Aeynora] : Penury? Are you giving up? I don't give a f*ck about this house or this family, I just wonna run away with you! He is making me crazy.

[Eliás] : Dude... listen, we can't be so sure. And you should chill.

[Aeynora] : Chill? My foot!

[Eliás] : You are depressed, oh sh*t.

[Aeynora] : I never told you this...

[Eliás] : What? What is it?

[Aeynora] : He abused me everytime Mum wanted me to be with him. He touched me like a pervert. Nobody was there for me. You were so happy with them and I didn't even tey to tell you, nor to mum.

[Eliás] : The f*ck? Are you kidding me? Are you schizophrenic? Did you just imagine all these... Aeynora?

[Aeynora] : I'm gonna kill myself now. My own brother does not believe me... wow.

[Eliás] : Nooo! We can talk about this.

[Aeynora] : I'm not crazy. I'm not lying. He would r*pe me if he gets the chance. I'm scared.

Eliás got Aeynora into his hands and kissed her head. Aeynora started to cry with contrition.

[Eliás] : Listen, I'm here for you. You gotta rely on me at least.

[Aeynora] : Please believe me Eliás! You are my only hope.

[Eliás] : I believe you! Totally.

[Aeynora] : Promise me please! I don't wonna die!

[Eliás] : I promise! I love you!

[Aeynora] : Okay... okay... Good

[Eliás] : Calm down... I'm with you.

[Aeynora] : Can you do me a favour?

[Eliás] : Y-Yeah! Ofcourse! What is it?

[Aeynora] : Come with me... let's go check the basement. If we find something contentious, let's run away. Okay?

[Eliás] : Oh my... Alright. I'm down.

[Aeynora] : Let's go!

Then Aeynora grabbed Eliás from his right hand and stood up. She lead Eliás to the empty storage room of their house and there was a door on the floor. Door of the basement.

Then Eliás lowered down and kept his hand on the door.

[Eliás] : How can we open this?

[Aeynora] : pull from the edges.

Then Eliás kept trying while Aeynora went outside to get something.

[Eliás] : I don't think we can open this.

Then Aeynora walked back in with a shotgun and loaded it.

[Eliás] : How a-

Then Aeynora shor the door three times until it created a big hole.

*three gunshots*

Eliás closed his ears with his hands and fell down.

[Eliás] : Holy shi-

[Aeynora] : There you go.

[Eliás] : Are you f*cking crazy?

[Aeynora] : Shut up!

Then she jumped down the hole on the door and opened the door.

[Aeynora] : Get down here!

Then Eliás walked down the stairs into the basement. Then Aeynora turned on the lights.

[Eliás] : How the hell are we gonna fix that door?

[Aeynora] : We won't.

[Eliás] : Oh sh... You are so stupid.

[Aeynora] : I'm trying to save us both.

[Eliás] : Dad's gonna kill us thanks to you.

[Aeynora] : He will anyway.

[Eliás] : F*cking... aaaargh!! I'm so dead. We shouldn't be doing this!

[Aeynora] : We got a lot of boxes here.

[Eliás] : Oh no. It's so cold here.

[Aeynora] : Yeah, but not colder than Dad's heart.

[Eliás] : You are so funny now.

Aeynora found something attractive.

[Aeynora] : check this out!

Then she took out some bullets shells out of a box.

[Eliás] : Don't tell me Dad shot people with those bullets.

[Aeynora] : Bullet shells, but not bullets. Makes sense.

[Eliás] : There are bullet shells upstairs also If you don't know... you shot that door with a fucking shotgun! How did you even get one?

[Aeynora] : Shh... Shush

[Eliás] : I'm gonna die here. Too cold.

[Aeynora] : Well, you can go if u wanna.

[Eliás] : Nevermind.

Aeynora found a broken red colour phone and threw it into an empty box.

[Eliás] : Damn....

[Aeynora] : What?

[Eliás] : N-Nothing!

[Aeynora] : Dude... this place is so damn clean.

[Eliás] : Oh yeah. Maybe because it was sealed?

[Aeynora] : Uhhh... Nahh

Eliás sneezed and cleared his nose.

[Aeynora] : Aw... I'm tired of this. Let's go upstairs. You might die.

[Eliás] : Joy!

Then they walked out after turning the lights off.

Eliás and Aeynora went to the living room and got seated.

[Aeynora] : Okay so Dad is temporarily fine.

[Eliás] : Not guilty at all.

[Aeynora] : It feels weird. We couldn't find anything suspicious.

[Eliás] : forget it.

[Aeynora] : Alright, for now.

[Eliás] : Imma go make you some hot coco.

[Aeynora] : Aww...

[Eliás] : Stay here.

Then Eliás went to the kitchen to make hot chocolate. He turned on the water heater of the tap and poured some hot water into 2 cups.

Then He added chocolate powder, sugar cubes, milk and waited until

The flavours mix up with the plosion of tropical ingredient aromas.

After some time,

Eliás went to the living room while Aeynora was watching some cooking videos. He handed over a cup of hot chocolate to Aeynora and took a seat next to her.

[Aeynora] : Thanks Eli!

[Eliás] : My pleasure to serve you ma'am.(In a funny voice)

[Aeynora] : Euphonius...

[Eliás] : Really?

[Aeynora] : Yeah, voice of an Angel...

[Eliás] : Okay, I'm bored now.

[Aeynora] : You know what? This feels nice.

[Eliás] : What?

[Aeynora] : How you treat me I mean.

[Eliás] : You know... you Don't have to worry because we couldn't find anything bad.

[Aeynora] : I guess...

[Eliás] : I don't think he's bad but as you said... I got trust issues.

[Aeynora] : I ain't gonna say anything about this.

[Eliás] : Alright. I'm starving now.

[Aeynora] : Same.

[Eliás] : Wonna go get our hunger obliterated?

[Aeynora] : Hell yeah!

[Eliás] : Alright, finish your coco first and we can hit the road.

[Aeynora] : Nice. In ten minutes then.

Then she took a sip.

After some time,

Eliás was on his motorbike. He was wearing a helmet and waiting for Aeynora to come to the garage while watching some videos from his phone.

Then Aeynora came out and the door was locked by the house assistant software. She had a helmet in her hand.

[Aeynora] : It's really cold.

[Eliás] : Yeah but the snow storm is gone.

Then Aeynora got on the bike and wore her helmet.

[Aeynora] : Let's go baby boy!

Then Eliás started the bike and then the garage door opened. Then they hit the road,through the cold mist of snow which covered the sun which casted long shadows. Along the tree lined road.

While on the way,

[Aeynora] : Oh God! This is fun.

[Eliás] : Whaaa... t? (Loudly)

[Aeynora] : Nothing!

Then they reached "The Green Plate".A cozy restaurant known for its hearty meals and friendly atmosphere for everyone. After Parking their motorbike in the parking area for bikes outside, they walked in, greeted by the warm aroma of baked bread and roasted vegetables and meat.

The siblings chose a corner booth by the window. Eliás scanned the menu which was displayed on the screen which was next to their table, deciding on a classic burger with fries, while Aeynora opted for a colorful veggie wrap. They chatted about their day as they waited for their food, enjoying the relaxed ambiance.

After the food arrived,

They dug in with enthusiasm. The food tasted great as they expected.

And while eating,

[Aeynora] : This is really good.

[Eliás] : What else can you expect from the green plate?

[Aeynora] : True. Really delicious.

[Eliás] : I ordered a chocolate lava cake also.

[Aeynora] : Nice.

After finishing their meals, they shared a slice of chocolate lava cake, laughing and teasing each other about who got the bigger piece. Satisfied and happy.Eliás payed the bill and got out of the restaurant with Aeynora. They were facing the cold winds but thw warmth of the food they ate made them immune to the intensity of the freezing weather.

[Aeynora] : Eliás, wonna go to the park?

[Eliás] : Alright.

Then they got back on the bike and rode to the park. The park was actually full of people. Glittering lights and traditional fireworks were in the view.

The patterns created by those fireworks asunder the cold hearts of pain and misery. Nobody could resist the joy.

Then,

[Aeynora] : Oh my gosh! Look at that!

[Eliás] : Pretty, isn't it?

[Aeynora] : I would die to see fireworks like this.

[Eliás] : It's kha'ro kha'éf !! I forgot

[Aeynora] : Day of the colours!

[Eliás] : I see army members. Look!

[Aeynora] : Oh! There's a tank too.

[Eliás] : The army hosts the event I guess.

[Aeynora] : Yeah! This is really the best day ever! I love fireworks!

[Eliás] : I'm happy too.

Eliás was happy to see Aeynora's face full of happiness and excitement. Then Aeynora held hands with Eliás and got closer to eachother.

[Eliás] : You are so pretty Aeynora.

While seeing the fireworks through Aeynora's eyes.

[Aeynora] : Awh... you are too!

Then,

[Someone] : Hey guys!

[Eliás] : Eh? Who was that?

[Someone] : Aeynora!

It was a Girl in a hoodie. She walked to Aeynora with a boy.

[Aeynora] : Cora! Heyy! You guys are here too!

[Eliás] : Hey guys.

[The boy] : Yo!

[Cora] : We came few minutes ago.

Lycee and Yair came too.

[Aeynora] : Oh nice! You guys staying for a while right?

[Cora] : Yeah.

[The boy] : This won't end soon.

[Eliás] : Yeah.

[Cora] : We can have fun here!

[Eliás] : Real!

[The boy] : Guys! We should go find a bench.

[Cora] : Next to the juice shop.

[Aeynora] : Can you get others Barak?

[The boy] : Yeah. I'll get them to the juice shop.

[Eliás] : Hold on I'm coming too.

[Aeynora] : El-!

[Cora] : Let's go get the bench!

After Barak and Eliás went to find their other friends, Aeynora and Cora went to the juice shop block and found a free bench. There were plenty of unoccupied benches so they chilled out.

After Aeynora and Cora had a little chat, Eliás returned without Barak.

[Cora] : Where's Barak?

[Eliás] : He went to eat with them.

Cora was annoyed. And Aeynora laughed.

[Cora] : I was literally forcing him to stay.

[Aeynora] : You two always blame eachother.

[Eliás] : By the way... Laycee and Yair were kissing behind a tank.

[Aeynora] : Wow.

[Eliás] : Like damn animals. They were f*cking eating themselves.

Eliás giggled like a crazy clown.

[Cora] : Unexpected.

[Eliás] : I'm happy for them. To be honest...

[Cora] : Okay.

[Aeynora] : Today's awesome.

[Eliás] : totally...

After Barak left the friends alone, Eliás, Aeynora and Cora stayed at the spot and enjoyed the moment. They did a lot of chatting and teasing . There were families dancing and that made Aeynora wanna dance. Eliás didn't participate so Aeynora went to dance with Cora.

And the Friends celebrated the event

Happily until the end. Obligeration of misery and anxiery, Eliás payed attention to it. And then the day passed by as usual.
