Just a little short!

For martial arts practioners, being left behind by the pears was not a good sign, and even more importantly, the earlier one reaches the higher level the beneficial it becomes.

If one is delayed, and their Qi and Blood start to run out, and without a special opportunities, their future is set.

It was understandable for Bi Yun to want to catch up too, and with her ambitions, it would be difficult to accomplish if not strong enough.

What was even more unsettling was having to know someone else was advancing while she was stuck in place.

The obviously couldn't accept this, as she was clear that only by having enough strength could one claim to have their fate in own hands.

Standing beside a carriage, Li Xin looked toward QinZhi and sighed.

"What kind of fruit she ate, she probably even doesn't know. Just putting something in the mouth because of the attraction from it. Wait! Why am I okay?" He totally ignored this scene and though of his the fruit didn't have any temptation to him.

"Is there some kind of transformation after one reaches the seventh level other than the strength entering a whole new level? Something like willpower? No! It should be something more, after all willpower is something that every martial artist has to have and it increases with the realm improvement one undegoes." He was very sober about somethings and it allowed him to instantly come up with this conclusion.

With this being the case, be had some doubts, as such, his mind focused more on what might have caused all this.

He then thought about his saber technique that had reached the perfection stage.

Even though it was made up of numerous saber skills being combined together, it shouldn't bring about such a change.

After all the Mysterious Heavenly Art was also a combination of many techniques, some taken from the enemies he crushed.

Unlike most people, he could take advantage of the attribute panel to slowly fuse techniques.

He even has seen his comprehension rise over time, as it was the reason he was able to keep up with Bi Yun.

He has never seen anyone as talented at her. Even QinZhi that he praises all the time, but complains about her lazy nature can't match up.

To reach his current level, the system has played a major role and he was waiting for a transformation after he brokethrough in anything.

His comprehension was bound to rise even higher, or undergo a transformation.

Clearly indicating that his speed of practice might not slow down at all in the future.

After checking on his attribute, he turned to look as QinZhi, before sitting on top of the carriage to relax.

He wasn't in any hurry anyway, and the person he wanted to see could afford to wait.

Inhaling slightly, he entered a state of meditation, and he couldn't help himself but try to see a path ahead of his sea calming Saber art.

For the situation with QinZhi, he couldn't help at all, as it wasn't something guidance could be given on, and one had to work on it themselves.

It wasn't easy for her as the darkness had almost covered the sky, before she managed to put the energy that was raging in her body under control.

"My internal energy has been purified further, I should have no problem defeating my previous self effortlessly. More importantly, my movement skill seems to have changed slightly, unfortunately I didn't have that chance to gain some mystery or I think it would be easier to see the path to the 7th stage." Entering the seventh stage was not easy.

Most people have second decades on the doorstep, with others being incapable of even taking that step.

The best example is the large number of experts in the clans existing in this world, some once having been glorious, but on the decline due to lack of experts.

When she opened her eyes, he couldn't wait to scold her.

"Do you think the fruit I gave you is peanuts or something? It is best to kick that thought out of your mind. Purify the energy in your body, it will benefit you a lot. But to break through, I would advise you to focus on breaking through using techniques. " He indeed did know the benefits of this.

He had seen those that have used external forces to raise their realms while the technique they practice did not seem to match the level they had attained.

"Young master, why are you so interested in going to the sea at this moment? aren't those old individuals in the pavilion trying to increase the influence of the pavilion and yet you did not seem to care about it." This was not the only thing that puzzled her.

"What is the point? At least at the moment, none of them would go ahead and try to cause trouble for the short moment. QinZhi you also care about what happens to the Pavilion? Even though the pavilion has been useful to us, we created it for a purpose and it has almost done its part for us." He did not plan to waste his time on.

Even if things changed during their travel, he would not care about it.

It was one thing for enemies to come for the Pavilion, but if those in the Pavilion search for trouble, he would not bother to meddle at all.

It was a means to attain resources, but this is almost negligible for him at this stage.

The reason for this is simple, the resources needed for someone at his stage, were not that easy to get.

With this knowledge, it is already easy to see that any of the available resources would depend on strength.

After he accomplished his goal of this trip, he would not mind passing on that position of Pavilion master to those with capabilities and keep on going after his goal.

"The pavilion is just some gathering of people so what if it is lost in the end, if my strength continues to increase, what value does it have to me?" This was what he thought about in his head.

But Li Xin was someone who had lived to live as such he did not care much about others' opinions.

In the moment he had already set his goal of arriving in the sea region fast.

The carriage was moving faster compared to before and by the time QinZhi had already finished with the process of tempering her internal strength.

It was just lacking a step to reach the Insight stage of the seventh level.

This was indeed faster compared to before and she was puzzled at why he was in a rush, but Li Xin was the only one that felt there was some kind of threat in the forest.

This kind of danger seemed to be something he could not deal with, and even his superior combat power with the technique having reached the 7th stage explained a lot.

The level of danger was something he should avoid, and at the same time, it seemed to have given him some distant memories that he had almost forgotten.

QinZhi also seemed to have sensed that Li Xin's mood was not normal. The only time he was like this, was when they were weak and struggling to survive.

"Judging from the speed at which we are traveling, the horses would be tired by the time we arrive. Something seems to be bothering you again, what can make you this tense?" QinZhi could not help but ask.

"Oh! You can sense this?" Li Xin was indeed astonished.

In the moment, however, she was already able to observe him closely after she finished refining the energy of the fruit.

"Something is indeed wrong. When we were in the forest, I felt a strong threat, and the fact that we had not met any other enemies or even beasts coming towards us, seemed to have proved my conjectures. Do you remember the shaking in the forest that led us to the very place we obtained the fruit?" He asked directly.

He had sensed a very serious crisis enveloping him when he faced the two monsters, but not even when he took the treasures they were fighting for.

In that moment he was already sure that if he took another move against them with the intent to kill, he would not have left the forest alive.

When he looked at things now, the threat was not coming from them but a stronger creature and in this way, it probably did not even put the grass he had taken in its eyes.

When the carriage was moving further and further away, in the middle of the forest, something even more interesting was happening.

If Li Xin could see it he would be shocked, a massive ape close to 6 meters long was standing looking in the direction that the carriage had left in, as though lost in thought.

It looked towards a massive peacock with its wings seemingly covering 3.5 meters on each side.

The peacock seemed intimidating, too, but the massive ape seemed to speak human words. "Peacock King, better give me an explanation on why you stopped me from dealing with that tiny human."

The peacock seemed to be frustrated not because it was afraid of the ape, rather it seemed to be only sense that the crisis centering around them was slowly dissipating.

Unlike Li Xin, it had the real ability to avoid misfortune and exist along with good fortune.

"You foolish monkey know nothing! The fact that the tiny human left without experiencing attack from us seems to have allowed our good fortune to strengthen slightly. If you attack, there is one thing I can assure you about, creating an enemy that you can not fathom. From the moment I sensed the human, my first thought was also to let them stay behind, but the moment such a thought came up, I could already foresee a massive catastrophe in the future. Let him go, anyway, you have not lost anything." The peacock started to retreat.

It had accomplished its goals at the moment and thus did not seem to care much about the situation that was going to happen to the other humans in the forest.

Li Xin on the other end, just felt the depression on his slowly fading, the further from the forest he moved.
