The urge to find Amelia was overwhelming. I had heard about mates not wanting to be separated after being marked but I had never experienced it before. It was even worse than I had thought.

We hadn’t even been away from each other for two hours and already I wanted to find her. I wanted to bend he rover my desk and fuck her until we both couldn’t breathe, I wanted to inhale her scent and feel her against me. It wasn’t even just about fucking her, I just wanted her. I wanted her around me, I wanted her next to me, I wanted her in the air that I breathe.

I didn’t want to call her yet, I didn’t want to scare her or make her run. She had barely forgiven me and I was still making amends for all the shit I had done so I sent her lunch and flowers.
