Chapter 33: Athena vs Esmeralda

Rory ended up being injured. She coughed a lot of blood as she tries to stand up and her demon wings burned into ashes.

Zestiya asked, "is that all that you got? I thought you were going to give me a good fight."

Esmeralda said, "that's enough Zestiya, we're here to check on the newly awakened pandonium demon."

As Esmeralda steps back slowly she felt a deadly aura of a person behind her.

She was just about to take a look at the person behind her she was being and that attack throws her up at the labyrinth walls.

The time flows continue again and the dust that was caused by the intense battle disappears and the debris from the battle returns to its original position.

Esmeralda immediately saw the woman and she is Rosario's evolution. Moreover, Rosario possesses a color red-gold and a very violent aura.

Esmeralda is having a hard time standing straight due to the powerful pressure that Rosario's aura is emitting.

Rosario said in a computerized voice, "now, are you going to attack or you're just to going stand there and do nothing like a coward?"

Esmeralda shouted in anger and said, "don't underestimate me, you bastard!"

Esmeralda charges toward Rosario like a madman and took her demonic sword out.

Esmeralda used a skill and said, "ray buster slash!"

Esmeralda's sword emits a violent aura and attacks Rosario.

Rosario received the attack and Esmeralda said, "die! You bastard."

A huge explosion covered the scenery as Esmeralda creates a powerful explosion.

Esmeralda laughed and said, "your nothing but trash to me, and yet you have the gal to underestimate me."

The dust starts to clear out and she was surprised as she saw Rosario manage to block her attack with just one finger.

Rosario said in a computerized voice, "is that all that you got?"

Rosario attacked Esmeralda with her powerful punch that throws Esmeralda away.

Esmeralda vomits a lot of blood and she asked herself, "just how the hell did she get this strong? She's almost as strong as Venitas and all of her movements are calculated. If this goes on the dungeon will fall into her own hands. Before that happens I must kill her."

While she was spacing out Venitas contacted her and said, "oi, how are you doing there? I can sense that you're facing someone more powerful than you."

Esmeralda said, "I'm fine for now. I don't know how much longer I can pin this woman here. Fighting her is like back then when you Xerxis great sage skill in a friendly battle. Everything I do is already calculated for her and even my next move. If I weren't this strong I would have died from her punch."

Venitas said, "alright, just buy me some time and ill be there soon to help you."

Esmeralda said, "ok."

Before Esmeralda returns her focus to Rosario which is Athena herself she disappeared again.

Esmeralda search for her but she couldn't find her.

Suddenly she felt a deadly gaze above her and she saw Athena holding a black and red color Katana.

Esmeralda said to herself, "wait, that sword. It looks familiar."

Athena charges toward Esmeralda without care and said, "let's see how powerful my master's demon sword could get."

Athena gives a powerful slash at Esmeralda that created a hole that leads to the floor.

Esmeralda was being smashed directly to the ground on the first floor and she vomits more blood

Esmeralda said to herself, "this feeling, I think I finally remember now. Back then when I was still a kid a remember the wielder of that sword."

As Esmeralda realizes something she trembles in fear as if she's standing right in front of his worst nightmare.

Athena slowly flies down the hole that she created and calmly lands. However, from Esmeralda's point of view, she's starting at a horrifying being.

She's staring at someone with the same wings and horns as Rosario but with red skin and white hair. It also has a black crown and robe of a king with a color black eyes and golden pupils.

Athena walks closer to Esmeralda and Esmeralda's fighting stance starts to slowly break as in her POV the person that she's seeing possesses a menacing aura.

Esmeralda shouted, "just what is it that you wanted to take away from me this time?! You already took my Mother and Father's life away. Haven't you pardoned me already?!"

Athena said to herself, "well, I didn't expect this to happen. This is not what I've calculated to happen."

Milus asked, "oi, what did you do with that woman? Why is she experiencing her own worst nightmare?"

Athena said, "how should I know? I never expected this to happen but it doesn't hinder my plans. From how things are now she'll probably surrender to me soon."

Esmeralda said, "now that you're back right in front of me. I'll show you far I've improved and ill make you beg for mercy."

Athena point her sword toward Esmeralda and said, "I would like to see you try."

While their battle starts to heat up there is a woman deep within the nightmares of everyone. She's sitting on the throne of skeletons and she wears a pair of black gloves and a dress.

The woman said, "how long are you going to make me wait, Athena? I don't know how long you're going to fight against my brother. He's too strong for you to deal with, not even me nor my other 2 brothers and sister Alicia can kill him. After all, he's the strongest among us siblings. Why don't you just let everything fall apart just like what happened to the timelines?"
