As Darius cautiously made his way through the cave, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The darkness was thick and suffocating, swallowing up any light that dared to penetrate it. He could hear the sound of water dripping in the distance, echoing off the walls and adding to the eerie atmosphere. The air was chilly and damp, and I could smell the musty scent of decay. Every step he took felt like a risk as if the ground beneath him could crumble away at any moment. It was a place that gave him goosebumps and made him thankful for the light of the torch… even if it was so little.
After taking a few steps inside the cave, Darius felt that something else was in the air… maybe it was because he had learned his first spell, and his magic senses had improved a fair bit. Something that had mana or perhaps aether was inside the case… he was thinking that the beasts had headed to other mines, but maybe he was wrong.
At some point, Darius stopped moving when he suddenly heard some heavy footsteps approaching. He threw the torch ahead to illuminate the area ahead, and then he summoned a spear from his domain. It didn't take long for a large creature to show up ahead… it was a golem.
The golem was a massive and imposing creature made entirely of stone. Its body is covered in intricate carvings and symbols, giving it an almost mystical appearance. Its eyes glow with otherworldly energy, and its movements are slow and deliberate, as if each step carries the weight of the earth itself. Despite its intimidating size and appearance, the golem exudes a sense of ancient wisdom and power, as if it has existed since the beginning of time itself.
The golem charged toward Darius like a massive truck. The creature didn't even move its legs. It just charged like it had wheels under its feet. Darius blocked the attack with his spear, but he was easily pushed away, and he felt his bones cracking every single moment.
Darius pointed his index fingers to the head of the beast and then bombarded the head of it with Mana Bolts. Some holes and cracks began to appear on it, but Darius knew that it wouldn't be enough…
Darius raised his legs and spun his legs upward. The monster pushed him even further, but that only worked for him to reach the top of the monster faster. When Darius freed his weapon, he bombarded the same spot on the head of the beast three times with Mana Bolts, and then he trusted his spear forward in the middle of the head of the creature. Darius felt like hitting something hard, and then the monster stopped moving and then began to fall apart.

Darius sighed in relief, but then relaxing only made his arms hurt like hell. In theory, the golems were two times stronger than orcs, which was why he got the double of the experience. Still, their build some be different… around heavily focused on Strength and Endurance.
Darius checked the pile of rubble that became the body of the golem. He imagined that it would turn into sand, but he was wrong… In any case, he checked the head of the beast since he imagined that it had a core. Creatures like that would have such a thing to work properly… Still, Darius only found a rock that was a bit harder to split in two; it had some runes on it, though.
"It can't be used… the runes must be some kind of spell that controls the flow of mana on them," Darius thought. "I can probably keep them in the main domain, but they won't multiply, they are either produced or summoned creatures, so it goes without saying that they can't reproduce."
Although they wouldn't reproduce, they wouldn't die either, and they wouldn't change the island that Darius would put them on, so it was worth a shot at capturing a bunch of them. Getting one and sparring against it for a while inside his domain would make him save a lot of time.
"The spears won't work that well here…" Darius said while checking the dent marks that his weapon got during that fight. "I will need something like a club or use the spears like one."
They were too thin for that. Still, he could sell them for the old blacksmith since he wanted to reforge them anyway. After walking and looking around, Darius could see some parts of the walls where he could get some ores; they were getting easier to find the more he headed deeper in his mind… but soon, he had to stop when he heard more footsteps approaching.
Darius grabbed a bunch of the spears and prepared to throw them at the head of the creature… It was time to test many ways to kill the beasts as quickly as possible. When the silhouette of the beast appeared in the distance, Darius began to throw the spears… while the monsters were fast, they could only move in a straight line, and thanks to it, Darius hit its head all in a quick succession.
