Chapter 11

Without much of a choice he picked the acceptable skill level opponent but he felt quite uncomfortable doing that as he was a strong cultivator in his past life with plenty of fighting experience even if he wasn't quite used to his current body he believed he should have a better skill level rating than acceptable but he didn't care much as all he had to do was beat this level to access the next one.

Now he was standing in the middle of an arena with an opponent that looked like a shadow of a person just like him he was a dual sword wielder and there was a countdown going between them 10...9.....2...1.. fight. Just as the fight started the shadow launched itself at him while attacking Daemon was in a relaxed state so he was taken by surprise by this attack but he was able to block it but it was followed by another one that he hardly managed to block soon they exchanged more than 30 blows but Daemon was so suppressed that he was barely able to defend himself and when he reached the 50th blow the sword of the shadow slit his throat and then he reappeared while holding his throat in the cave.

Just as he appeared in his original place the panicking Joker threw himself in his embrace looking at Joker who was almost crying he patted him saying"calm down nothing happened it was just an illusion " Daemon thought that Joker was him in the illusion which Joker denied as he told Daemon that he was sitting on his lap the next moment he disappeared then after sometime he appeared again well he didn't really talk but as his pet Daemon could understand him to some point.
