Mr. Ghost Request

We both headed inside the cave. But this time I broke off a branch and lit it up.

So we carefully walked inside the cave. Fortunately, there was no more monster.

At the end of the cave, we didn't find any treasure. This made us stunned and then I asked," Draco why do I feel that I was cheated with a fake treasure map".

Draco nodded its small head and said," shall we find the merchant".

I replied," but do you think he will believe us? Anyway let's find him".

But Draco didn't reply instead it was looking behind Jack and saw a transparent human standing behind him. So he was looking at the figure curiously and then he said," Jack I see someone".

I listened to Draco's words and then I asked," where do you see the person".

Draco said," behind you".

I replied," but there was no one", but halfway through I stopped talking as a ghostly figure was looking at me.

I was almost scared away I haven't watched the scene of zombies playing with the skeleton head. So I said," hello".

The ghost grinned and said," strange adventurer, for the first time I saw that someone didn't run away after seeing me", saying so it stopped and then continued," so strangers since you are here then I will entrust a task to you. Brink back my remains to my village. My village is located on 5 floors. I have marked it on your map".

I then looked around carefully and then finally I found a tattered armor and below it was piles of bones.

Then I asked," Mr. ghost what is your name? And where do I need to deliver your remains to?".

The ghost said," The name I forgot but I remember that my only relative is my wife. So, please return my remains to my dear wife Maria".

I said," don't worry Mr. Ghost we will complete your quest".

The ghost said," okay then I will see you later", saying so the ghost disappeared.

I saw this and then sat on the ground and then looked at Draco and asked," hey bro tell me that I was talking with a ghost now. It was not a dream right".

Draco grinned and said," of course Jack how was your first experience chatting with ghosts".

I replied," not bad. They were not as bad as I used to think. So let's return his remains to his wife".

Draco said," okay Jack. You collect the remains first".

I nodded my head and then began to carefully collect all his remains. After that, I stored it inside the inventory.

Then I said," Draco shall we challenge the guardian monster. As we have already reached level 9".

Draco said," but will the rewards be reduced".

I said," I don't know. Let's find it out".

Then we both walked back outside the cave and then we challenged the guardian boss. It was four armed apes.

Its status was weak.

Skills-

Ground Storm- Use 300 MP to stomp the ground. It can interrupt casting and also does 50% tremor damage.

Cooldown- 10 sec

Glowing Punch- Use 20 MP to punch out a glowing punch dealing 300% damage to the target.

Cooldown- 2 sec.

I looked at its attributes and then said," Draco, you distract the monkey and I will summon bombs to blast it away. But remember to keep the monkey in the range of bomb".

Draco's eyes shone and he said," are you going to use that skill".

I nodded my head and then said," also be careful of its punch".

Draco said," these monsters would not be able to catch me".

I said," Okay then. Also, fly a little higher to not be affected by the shock wave after the bomb blasts".

Draco said," okay Jack let's go. Times up".

Then Draco began to distract the monkey.

While it was distracted I summoned one bomb. And as soon as the monkey came closer to the bomb I exploded it using extra mana.

It dealt over 2000 damage and also it had badly damaged one of its arms. It couldn't use it so I summoned a few more bombs and bombarded it to death.

Later I used gatherings skill and gained a monster core/ crystal (blue).

Then I went and extracted it to gain 20 attribute points and 2 skill points.

Draco flew on Jack's shoulder and said," Jack it doesn't look strong".

I said," it's because the Elemental bomb skill is overkill. The instant cast and no cooldown can let me continue making more of these bombs. And I can summon the bomb anywhere within 40 meters range. It has 15 seconds to explode but I can also explode it using the mana. So you must understand how overpowered this skill is".

Draco nodded its head and said," yes Jack I understand".

Then I said," you go and open the treasure box".

Draco said," I opened it last time".

I said," then open it once again".

Draco said," okay".

After the treasure box was opened, Draco had a disappointed look and then he said," Jack we didn't find anything good, except one bow of purple grade and 30 gold shells".

My mouth was wide open and then I asked," what did you say".

I picked up the treasure chest upside down and saw nothing come out of it. So I looked at Draco and asked," Draco did you do something that affected our luck".

Draco shook his head and it replied," didn't you touch the remains of that ghost".

I sat there with a depressed look for a few seconds and then I said," Draco let's try to kill and level up as fast as we can".

Draco asked," why Jack".

I said," it seems that we are out of luck after that ghost showed up. So it's better to complete its quest, and then other things, or else the bad luck will keep hunting us".

Draco nodded and said," Okay Jack. Then let's go".
