First Skill (Part 1)

Ethan woke up after a long time when he opened his eyes his vision was blurry he slowly rubbed his eyes and looked where he was but all he saw was darkness.

Seeing darkness all around Ethan's dizziness quickly faded away and he remembered what happened before he fall asleep.

He remembered that he fall asleep on a tree branch after his fight against the forest Tiger but now looking around all he could see is pure darkness he couldn't understand where is he.

'' Just what the hell happened after I fall asleep '' Ethan muttered while looking around for clues to find his location.

Suddenly Ethan heard a loud roar and his heart almost stopped beating because he thought that the roar was that of forest Tiger.

After hearing the roar Ethan finally understood where he was, Ethan couldn't help but curse his own stupidity.

'' Damm! How can I forget that I am inside the dark forest and although this is just the outer zone the trees here are also pretty thick and wide so very little sunlight can enter here''.

Well in the dark forest you can't even see properly in the daytime and it was night time so it was understandable that Ethan react like that.

After realizing that he was still on the same tree branch that he fall asleep he calmed down. Looking at the darkness around him Ethan thought that it must have been midnight already.

Since he started his journey in the forest late afternoon and he took around 4 to 5 hours to find the ratman and when he fought against the forest Tiger it was already evening and he fall asleep after the fight in the evening and looking at himself he knew he at least slept for five hours so currently time should be around 12 a.m.

Just as Ethan was about to stand up he felt severe pain in his legs. Then Ethan remembered that his legs were damaged pretty badly although he took a healing potion it will still take at least a week for his legs to recover.

Ethan then noticed that although he was still feeling the pain in his legs but something was different about his body his legs bones and muscles were healing at a higher rate than before.

Ethan was confused at first then he remembered that he killed the forest tiger his status points must have gone up after he killed it and he should have leveled up at least five or six times considering the level of the forest tiger.

Ethan wanted to check his first skill but currently, it was very dark and he could not see anything so he decided to wait until the morning.

Ethan took out some food from his storage ring and eat it to recover his energy after eating dinner Ethan took out another healing potion and drank it.

After eating and drinking Ethan fall asleep again although he sleep for five hours he was still exhausted from his fight against the forest tiger. When Ethan woke up again it was already morning.

Ethan looked at his legs and he was surprised to see that his legs were mostly healed already, he should be able to walk perfectly in just two days. After seeing his recovery speed Ethan couldn't wait any longer and saw the notifications he received after killing the tiger.

After seeing the notifications Ethan couldn't help but burst into laughter.

'' My most stats points got doubled just by killing my first magic beast and I also got a title that help me fight against higher level opponents ''.

Ethan opened his status window and looked at it

After checking his status window Ethan was truly happy he thought the pain he suffered from the forest tiger was worth his effort.

''And now let's see what reward I got from killing that big cat'' Ethan said and took out the items he got from killing the forest tiger but when he took out the items he got from killing the tiger he was once again become sure that killing higher level opponent when you are at a low level gives the best result.

There were three items that Ethan took out from his storage ring there were two skill scrolls and one uncommon grade tressure orb. One of the skill scrolls was emanating a green glow while the other scroll was just looked like a normal scroll Ethan was sure that the scroll that was emanating a green glow was his first active skill.

'' Let's save the main dish for last and look at these two things first'' Ethan put his active skill scroll to the side and decided to check the uncommon grade tressure orb first when he crushed the tressure orb the orb disappeared and insisted of orb an earning appeared in his hand Ethan checked the details of earring.

---) Bloom Earring:- Increase the agility and the magic of the wearer by five points twice a day you can use the skill blaze barrier.

---) Blaze Barrier :- When you get ambushed by a sudden attack the skill blaze barrier will activate and a barrier made of flame will surround you to protect you from incoming danger.

Ethan looked at the details of the earring and couldn't help but remember the last attack of the forest Tiger after reading the details of the skill blaze barrier. If he had blaze barrier skill at that time his shoulder would not have been wounded like this but it can't be helped he learned his lesson that he shouldn't put down his guard until the enemy is truly dead.

Ethan put the earring to his right ear and his magic and agility increased by five points.

'' Now let's see what is this skill'' Ethan took the second scroll and looked at it's details
