CHAPTER 52
I rested my head on the wall and surrendered my fate. There's nothing else left for me and no way of coming out. Even my mother whom I thought loved me the most rejected me all because of whatever thing she had.
I was about laying on the floor to sleep which has been what I've been doing here since I came; Sleep and mistakenly roll over to a silver floor, scream from the pain, wake up and mourn my pathetic life then sleep again. This was my routine.
The door clicked open and as usual, I was dragged out. I was hoping to see my mother finally but I was disappointed when I saw she wasn't the one.
"Anna" I called out to my younger sister who was sitting on the visiting stool, her head bent.
"Maya she muffled a scream as she saw me. She stood up and tried hugging me but I stopped her before she could get to me.
"You can't hug me. They won't allow you" I said and she scoffed, going back to the chair.
