"You and your sisters should let me be" I shrieked pointing my shaky fingers at her as hot tears rolled down my eyes. I'm pained, frustrated and traumatized from the abuse I get from people I call my family. CHAPTER 43

She saw me climbing down and rushed me.

"What are you doing Daya?" She screamed as she ran towards me.

"What am I doing? I'm going home, Sophie. Xander saw the tape right? He isn't here so it's obvious he believed them and left me.

He has rejected me, Sophie. I need to go home and explain everything to him. "I'm innocent Sophie do you not believe me?" I asked as I began weeping.

Sophie took me into her arms as she comforted me. My heart was beating at double the normal rate.

Calm down Daya. Nothing happened to you. Xander saved you before they could do anything" Sophie said but I found it hard to believe her.

"You're obviously saying this to calm me down. If he didn't leave me then why isn't he here?" I wailed.

"He went to get the Zack that lured you there. Don't worry, he would be back soon" Sophie assured and I found myself breathing out a loud sigh of relief.

My racing and pounding heart cooled. I found myself smiling sheepishly as Sophie began laughing at me.
