After dying a rather slow and painful death, he meets God and is granted three wishes with a world of his choosing. I suck at summaries, read the novel, you'll like it... hopefully.
In what appears to be a sparsely decorated office sits an old man that many considered God and a young man with his eyes closed.
After taking a few deep breaths to calm himself down, he opens his eyes, "Let me get this straight, I'm dead thanks to you, and even though I should definitely be going to hell for my life choices, your going to grant me three wishes like some shitty fairytale genie and also let me choose any world imaginable to reincarnate into... is that all correct"
God chuckles at the genie comment but nods his head, "You can also choose the family your born into"
The young man lived a rather busy life, from joining the military at an early age but getting dishonorably discharged four years later, he became an entrepreneur and even got his feet wet in politics before his untimely demise.
His only favorite hobby was watching the movies and reading the books/fanfics on the wizarding world of Harry Potter.
"I want to be born into the world of Harry Potter as the youngest son of House Black, Sirius is supposed to be thirty-two years old when Harry starts his first year at Hogwarts... I want to be ten years younger than him but I don't want my birth to change the main storyline"
"Easily done", The old man says while nodding.
The young man leans back in his chair, "For my first wish, I want to have limitless potential in everything and anything, I never want to feel like I can't get any stronger"
"Secondly, I want to be loved by all magical animals, creatures, and monsters, even if they are considered evil"
"Lastly, I want my learning speed to rival that of Merlin himself"
"Good wishes", God says before clicking his fingers and making the boy vanish in a beam of light.

Thankfully, when he opened his eyes for the first time, he was already a month old, while he couldn't control his body whatsoever, he could at least see without blurry vision.
The first thing he saw was two boys he could only guess were his brothers Sirius and Regulus.
Even as a ten-year-old child, Sirius had shoulder-length hair and a snarky grin on his face.
Regulus, on the other hand, despite being two years younger was all prim and proper with perfectly kept hair and a stoic face but his kind eyes betrayed him.
"Do you know if mother's named him yet, Sirius?", the younger brother spoke first.
Sirius gave a nod with a playful glint in his eyes, "his name is Beatrice, mother wanted another girl, so he was named after a girl before he was even born"
Regulus' eyes opened wide in shock, "I must consult mother about this", he said before walking out of the room.
"That boy, he never understands when someone is joking", he smiles happily.
Looking down at the baby that has black hair and piercing green eyes, "Arcturus Black, That's your name", he says while gently touching the baby's cheek.
As the baby falls asleep, Sirius quietly leaves the room, "Sleep well, little brother"
