The enemity between two cousin brothers could've gone far but fortunately Araxie found out about it before anything could go wrong.

Just like any other father would, Trion reached a point and asked his son, Scott, to find a girl and marry because he was of a marriageable age. He was twenty one years old.

Both Araxie and Trion were under the impression that their son would marry a mermaid since he was a pure merman, however that wasn't the case.

Scott always found excuses to dodge his father's suggestions about marriage and whenever he did that, Araxie always got a weird feeling.

Could it be that he was also waiting for the right time to fall in love just like her when she was in her teenage life?- Araxie would wonder all the time till the day she followed him to the top where she got her eyes on Bella (her son's girlfriend) for the first time.

"So... she's the reason behind my son's silence.

She's beautiful!"Araxie breathed.

A smile was back on her face because seeing her son playing with this girl like there was no tomorrow, was all she always wanted.

However, she noticed that there was someone else at the scene too. He seemingly looked like a villain in her son's love story because he was about to shoot the arrow at those two love birds.

"It's like I've seen that boy before!"Araxie said as she tried study the boy's face but no matter how hard she tried to, she couldn't recognize him.

Of course it was none other than Ryker but Araxie left him when he was still a little boy and even when they returned for Mahi's wedding, she didn't see him cos he had gone on a college trip.

Walking very close to him, she inquired about his parents after realizing that his face looked familiar.

He looked just like his father Andie but Araxie didn't want to make a room for mistakes. She wanted to get her doubts cleared.

"Why are you asking me about my mother?

You know she always tell me not to share my personal information with anyone.

I won't tell you ma'am."

Araxie found it funny. He was just behaving like a little kid.

"How old are you?"

"I'm twenty two years old.

Why ask me that?"

"It's nothing. It looks like you're your mom's boy, aren't you?"

Having a long conversation with him added to Araxie's doubts.

If he was really Ryker, then he never changed.

He still acted stubborn like how they left him.

"Is your name Ryker?"

Wait! What was wrong with Araxie. What kind of a question that was and did she ask him so.

She knew that people could resemble but not to that point.

His pointed long nose was the same as Andie's.

"I'm not a kid anymore that l would go with my father everywhere.

"I know that but considering your behavior, your father should be here with you."

Like why were you going to shoot at those people?"

"But I won't let you do so because the boy you are planning to harm is my son."Araxie said with emphasis.

"Liar! That boy there is a merman. He can't move out of water so how can he be your son? I mean you're human, are you not?"

I'm human because that's how my story began.

What happened to your tail?"he asked in a challenging tone.

"Follow me if you don't mind.

Let me show you my tail."Araxie said and just like that Ryker followed her.

The moment Araxie body came in contact with the waters of the sea, she immediately transformed into a mermaid right before Ryker who was left surprised.

But he still didn't believe that Araxie could have a child of Scott's age because she looked younger for that.

"Actually my name is Araxie. I'm the queen of this sea.

My husband is the king of the sea and that boy there is our son.

His name is Scott."she introduced herself properly. It was all a trap.

She had tried knowing this boy but he seemed adamant to.

On hearing such names, Ryker remembered something.

Yes, he had heard such names not just once but several times.

Everyone in the palace used to sang such names especially whenever something bad happened.

They would say that 'if Araxie and Trion were here'.

He always wished to meet them both but destiny always kept him away.

He even felt bad when his dad said that they were present at Mahi's ceremony.

Could it be possible that the exact person is standing before him? Ryker wondered thoughtfully.

"Is your husband's name Trion?"he suddenly gasped and quickly shut his mouth like he didn't mean to ask.

"Yes.

He's your uncle.

I might've spent many years without seeing you but your image never left my mind.

I know you're my sister's son.

You're Ryker, are you not?"Araxie didn't realize that she'd gone emotional.

"So you're my Aunt?

You're the same Araxie that my mom sings every day?"

"Yes dear. I'm your one and only aunt.

I can't believe that the creator cursed us to never step in the castle ever again."

"I heard that he reversed it..

A week later, Araxie and Trion realized that their powers had returned and that could only mean that the Creator's cursed had indeed been reversed.

It didn't take long before the king and his men came to pick them up and took them home where they found everyone waiting for them with open arms and broad smiles.

It was sweet of Ryker that he never told his mother or anyone else about his past.

From there, different relationships were made and some are still honoured till now.

Louis and Mahi's marriage marked the beginning of vampire and mermaid friendship. Oh gosh, how can I forget the friendship between the moon and sky.

Scott and Bella's marriage reunited humans and mermaids again while Ryker and Lina's brought a connection between humans and witches... that's why some people are still acting hostile. It's not always their fault.

Happiness prevailed and everything was back to normal again however.... Araxie and Trion chose to return to the sea and stay there forever hence they gave away their human blood and powers to their son Scott for he chose to stay behind on land and start a human life style with his beloved wife Bella.

You may wonder why you can't find a mermaid these days...

Well, it's because after Trion and his wife Araxie had chose never to come back on land, the creator was left with no reason to refuse their request so he told the land to rejoin again and just like that... Akira Sea was no more.

It remained underground.

The few mermaids and mermen that still exist, they were not present at the scene that night.

Perhaps they had swam to Akira river at that time because mermaids would at some point visit the river for salt-free water.
