My Wife

"Interesting," Majin exclaimed as soon as he saw a photo and information about a girl in the Imperial Academy.

Soon, Majin's carriage reach the imperial academy.

As Majin's carriage drew near the stately entrance of the Imperial Academy, the coachman, dressed in a crisply tailored uniform, leaned forward and gently pulled on the reins, bringing the horses to a graceful halt.

"We are here, Your Imperial Highness," he announced, his voice respectful yet carrying through the space with practiced precision.

Upon sighting the golden carriage with its imposing emblem—an insignia that bore the mark of the highest imperial authority—the guards stationed at the academy's gates sprang into action.

Their movements were swift and synchronized, a testament to their training and the importance of the visitor. They rushed toward the carriage, their boots clicking sharply against the cobblestone as they moved to swing the massive gates open, allowing Majin access.

The emblem on the carriage was not just a mere decoration; it symbolized the direct command of the empire's ruling elite, including the emperor, the empress, the first prince, and of course, the seventh prince, Majin.

Its presence at the academy gates signaled an event of significant importance, stirring a buzz of anticipation through the guards and onlookers.

As Majin stepped out of the carriage, the air seemed to shift slightly, reflecting the sudden solemnity and attention his presence commanded.

The guards at the entrance stiffened to their fullest height, their faces etched with a mix of awe and disciplined neutrality.

"We welcome you, Your Imperial Highness," they intoned in unison, bowing deeply as Majin appeared. Despite their rigid training, a hint of genuine admiration flickered in their eyes.

Majin, known not only as a genius of the imperial clan but also as a war hero and The star with shines with eternal glory, received such accolades with a customary nod—a slight, almost imperceptible dip of his head, which was his usual acknowledgment.

The guards, well aware of Majin's reputation for being exceedingly aloof, remained unfazed by his minimal response.

The Seventh Prince was renowned for his cold demeanor, a man who measured worth not by titles or flattery but by one's usefulness to his plans.

"Your Imperial Highness, let me escort you inside the academy," one of the guards offered eagerly, the reverence in his voice tinged with excitement.

His face showed clear signs of admiration as he gazed at Majin, hopeful for even the slightest approval.

Majin's gaze lingered briefly on the sprawling grounds of the Imperial Academy as he absorbed the familiar sights.

The large gardens that unfurled around the majestic main building and numerous dormitories were meticulously maintained, each bush and tree pruned to perfection.

"The Imperial Academy, hasn't changed a bit," Majin mused softly, his voice carrying a hint of nostalgia mixed with the detached observation of a man who had long since surpassed its teachings.

The Imperial Academy of the Demon Empire is renowned as one of the finest educational institutions on the imperialist side of the continent.

To put it simply, the shinobi world is divided into two major factions: the imperialist and the democratic.

The imperialist faction comprises empires and kingdoms ruled by nobles and royals, including nations like the Land of Demons (Demon Empire) and the Land of Hills etc.

On the other hand, the democratic faction, to some extent, includes nations like the Land of Wind and the Land of Fire, among others.

Returning to the main discussion, Majin was once a student at the Imperial Academy about ten years ago.

Remarkably, he is also the youngest shinobi ever to achieve the rank of Jonin, having done so at the age of 8.

As he walked forward, the crisp sound of his boots against the finely paved pathway echoed slightly in the serene air, a stark contrast to the usual bustling of students and faculty.

The academy was quiet at this hour, the hushed whispers of the wind weaving through the trees the only sound accompanying his solitary stroll.

It was then that the voice called out to him, disrupting the tranquility. "Your Imperial Highness!" The urgency in the voice was unmistakable, and Majin turned to see an older man approaching him with hurried steps.

Recognizing the figure, Majin's expression remained unreadable. "Vice-Dean?" he acknowledged as the man, Vice-Dean Kawashima Satoshi, came to a halt before him, slightly out of breath from his quick approach.

Kawashima, with a practiced bow, seemed momentarily flustered by Majin's imposing presence.

"Your Imperial Highness, you should have informed me of your visit," he managed, his tone respectful yet tinged with anxiety.

"Do I need to notify you before I decide to visit?" Majin replied, his voice cold, carrying a subtle threat that was not lost on the Vice-Dean.

The air seemed to thicken with tension, as even the gentle rustling of the leaves paused momentarily.

Kawashima bowed even lower, a gesture of deep respect mixed with a clear sign of subservience.

Despite his status as a quasi-Kage level shinobi, his demeanor in front of Majin was that of a man well aware of the power dynamics at play. "N-No, Your Imperial Highness," he stammered, clearly intimidated.

"I merely meant that, had you informed us of your visit, we could have prepared accordingly," Kawashima quickly added, attempting to recover his composure.

His voice was polite, striving to boot lick, yet there was a desperate edge to it.

"It doesn't matter," Majin said as he walked past the vice-dean before adding, "I am here to find someone today."

"Oh! I see. Who might it be, Your Imperial Highness?" Kawashima asked with a tone that sounded like an boot licker, yet he displayed no embarrassment at all.

"It has nothing to do with you, Vice-Dean," Majin said as he walked toward the main building of the academy.

Suddenly, he added, "Vice-Dean, just focus on doing what I have told you. If you can do everything perfectly, I will give you what I promised you," Majin stated without turning back.

From his words alone, one could guess that the vice-dean was in the Seventh Prince's faction and was acting as his spy in the academy.

"Yes, Your Imperial Highness," the Vice-Dean said before disappearing into thin air.

"Annoying dog," Majin thought to himself before entering the main building of the Imperial Academy.

To him, everyone else was merely a pawn, and if they were no longer useful, he would sacrifice them to gain new pawns.

"It looks like today is some type of holiday or something," Majin thought to himself as he entered the Imperial Academy and couldn't sense any students inside the main building.

"So, how will I find her now?" Majin said with a cold smile before adding, "Should I ask that old man?" He vanished from where he was standing and reappeared in front of the gate to the dean's office.

Now, don't get confused; Majin isn't capable of teleportation or anything similar. He's just using the footstep techniques from the Blood Sword Arts,

which can make him exceptionally fast for a short period, but they consume a hefty sum of his chakra.

But as soon as he opened the gate, a cold smile spread across his face when he saw a girl with blood-red eyes in the dean's office.

'Found you, my wife!'
