Chapter 4

Chapter 4: Trio

Many guardians have flown away and hit many buildings' walls. Civilians are being supervised by the other guardians to evacuate from the dangerous situation that's happening in the city of Malaya.

The enormous dwarf releases a heavy breath from its mouth, it reaches many incoming guardians. All of them easily lose their consciousness and, as a result, the others hit the ground and some crashed into different rooftops.

The last remaining 5 guardians hide from the enormous dwarf, they hide behind the wall of the nearest houses.

"We need their assistance!" one of the guardians told among his comrades.

The tallest male guardian looks at him. "Tsk!

When will you accept that we're just a pawn! They'll just sacrifice all of us for their safety! Those darned high officers!" He frowned and punched the wall in front of him.

"They've never succeeded in helping us, those high-ranking bastards of the government," the other one with a bald head hisses, "have all of you seen them? Right from the start of a conflict, they've never lent their hands to us!"

All of them looked down, some inhaled deeply, and they felt a huge shaking of the ground.

The enormous dwarf continues to move and the 5 remaining guardians dash upward. All of them reached the rooftop, and are now standing at it; gazing at the incoming enormous dwarf.

The first one breathes 3 fireballs toward the enormous dwarf, and it successfully hits the naked arm of the dwarf; making him groan in pain as he steps back a few steps away from the remaining guardians.

The second guardian brought out 5 knives from his pocket, therefore he threw them toward the enormous dwarf. The edge of the 5 knives sparks and it fades away.

The third guardian sticks his hands together, bright sparks appear in front of the enormous dwarf, and a big explosion occurs in front of the enormous dwarf.

The first and second guardians look at each other. The first asks the second guardian with a joyful look. "Did it work?"

The second one replies, "I don't know". He shrugged his shoulder.

Then a roar can be heard from the smoke, the smoke quickly fades away as an angered enormous dwarf runs so angry towards the 5 guardians.

The fourth guardian scowls, he steps in front of his other comrades. He dashes toward the enormous dwarf; he jumps from roof to roof onwards the enormous dwarf.

"Buwakangina!" He brought out a knife from his pocket, he runs even faster.

The other guardians look at each other; confused at the movement of the fourth guardian. The fifth guardian breathes deeply, henceforth he also sprints onward.

The fourth guardian was now beside the angry enormous dwarf. He immediately veers toward it and throws his knife.

The blade of the knife hits the arm of the enormous dwarf, the knife blazes and explodes, causing the enormous dwarf to put into a halt.

The enormous dwarf steps sideward, his body crashes into a building causing it to crash into pieces.

The fifth guardian halts beside the fourth guardian, he inhales deeply causing his belly to inflate, then he breathes out a massive red flame towards the enormous dwarf.

Unfortunately, the enormous dwarf releases a breath, completely putting an end to the massive red flame, the breath reaches the fourth and fifth guardian.

They felt shaky, they fell to the ground with their eyes shut down, the other guardian reached them.

The first guardian holds the clothed shoulder of the fifth unconscious guardian, he lifts him a bit.

"Hey! Wake up, guardian!" He shook him harshly, his eyes remained fixated on his face.

Then a massive green breath reaches them, all of them fall unconscious on the rooftop.

Not so far from them, three boys are pursuing their target while running on a rooftop, Efrein clicks his tongue. "Do you think that we have the power to defeat that?!"

He angrily shifts his face towards his two comrades, Seji moves his face towards Efrein with serenity. "Can you calm yourself? Just for a moment… Monkey?"

Efrein shifted his face forward, he was exasperated. "Gago. Alam mo palagi akong kalmado."

Seji's eyes widen, he glances upward only to witness a huge green arm crashing down towards them, he veers toward his left and kicks Efrein in his waist causing him to roll down from the rooftop, hence he did the same with Relov.

Luck was not so happy with him, he was caught by the impact of the huge green arm, which slammed the rooftop causing a hole in it.

Seji falls inward the hole causing him to hit the ground, the enormous dwarf lifts his huge green hand. He stares at it and caresses it.

20 red-orange glowing fireflies settle on the enormous dwarf's back, it grows a bright red-orange light, and then a big explosion occurs on the enormous dwarf's back.

The enormous dwarf falls on his knee while steam is still appearing on his back, he forcefully stands up and runs away. Relov jumps from the rooftop and lands on the ground. Now he is standing beside Seji.

Seji remains looking forward. "You two, do you want a hot ride?"

Both Efrein and Relov look at him, they were indeed shocked by what they heard from him.

Efrein says, "Sige ba!"

Relov just nods in response making Seji chuckle shortly. His tattoo resembling a bear glows, the tattoo detaches from Seji's belly.

Hence, it becomes a big grizzly bear, Seji summons a big wolf with his tattoo that resembles a wolf.

"Tayo na't humayo." Seji hopped on the furry back of the big wolf.

The grizzly bear lowers itself, wherein Efrein and Relov ride its back, then the grizzly bear raises its body. Hereafter, the big wolf and grizzly bear commence pursuing the enormous dwarf.

Efrein points at the silhouette of the running enormous dwarf. "There it is! We started this so we should finish this."

"Anong ibig mong sabihin?" Relov asked Efrein who was sitting in front of him.

Efrein nods his head with a scowling look on his face. "Earlier, when I was ambling towards the bakery, I saw two men wearing an attire for funerals, moreover, I knew it was you two.

"I fabricated about that boy's death. And so you two, whereas I think the 'fabricated lie' was real."

Seji didn't hear the conversation due to the big wolf leading the way, yet Relov scowls greatly, he raises his hand and gives Efrein a harsh slap on his head.

Seji removes his upper clothing, a tattoo resembling an eagle can be seen on his back, Seji breathes in. "Come forth Gigantic Philippine eagle!"

The said tattoo glows brightly in red color, hence it detaches itself from Seji's naked back, it rises in the air. The bright red color vanishes showing a huge philippine eagle, it flies so fast towards the enormous dwarf.

The big philippine eagle launches its claws toward the naked back of the enormous dwarf; it deepens its claw on the enormous dwarf, as a result: the enormous dwarf stumbles on the ground.

The gigantic philippine eagle suddenly disappears and returns to being a tattoo on Seji's back. Beads of sweat fall from Seji's sweating forehead.

He grits his teeth, the enormous dwarf stands up and turns around, and he roars furiously towards the incoming trio.

Seji glances behind him. "We must defeat that creature! Remember! His breath will make you sleepy so you must—!"

Efrein's eyes widen, he stands up from the back of the running bear, and he jumps forward, propelling him towards the furry back of the big wolf.

Efrein inhales deeply, and then he breathes a huge force of the wind, crashing into the massive green breath of the enormous dwarf.

A Group of red-orange fireflies appears all of a sudden in between the crashing breathe, the fireflies glow and explodes devouring the green breath.

Relov puts his hand down and smirks, Efrein yells in joy but unfortunately, he slips from the big wolf's back earning his face to hit the ground and his butt was pointing upward.

Efrein stands up, the enormous dwarf also stands up and he was in great anger, he roars once again, Seji picks up his staff from his belt, and he proceeds to remove the red fabric from it, then he twirls it before pointing it at the enormous dwarf's greeny awful face.

He says with a hint of stern in his voice. "I Seji hereby will defeat you along with these bastards."

Efrein stands in his right, he says, "Ang kapal! How dare you call me in that name?!"

Relov steps beside his left, he shifts his face toward Seji giving him a raised eyebrow. "I am not a bastard, that man beside you… He's the bastard."

"Whatever." Efrein covered his hands using wind.

Red-orange fireflies sorrounds Relov, Seji wears his stade look, then he rushes toward the standing enormous dwarf.

Efrein goes beside Relov, he looks toward Relov. "You know the plan, Empty-

headed?"

Relov cackles loudly. "You're truly a crackhead you know? There aren't any plans."

"But now, there's one," Efrein says, "the green breathe might spread around causing many people to be put in sleep."

"So, the plan was," Efrein looks with so much seriousness toward Relov, "we'll burn the green breath to assist Seji and to prevent it from spreading in the air."

Efrein shifts his eyes forward, then he smirks before running onwards. Relov was annoyed by Efrein. "You, Arrogant bastard! Don't just launch yourself into the enemy that fasts."

He follows Efrein, then Efrein goes ahead in front of Seji, a large green breath was coming towards them.

Efrein raises his hand in front of the large green breath, henceforth a large force of wind comes out from his palms; crushing into the large green breath.

"Huwag mo akong makakalimutan!" Relov raised his hands and a big surge of fire comes out from it.

The fire and wind combine, hence it burns the large green breath making it disappear.

Seji was still in his severe state, he runs faster ahead of his two comrades, once again he call upon his gigantium Philippine eagle.

The gigantium philippine eagle flies above Efrein and Relov, Seji yells, "Go and assist me! Please!"

Efrein yells back. "Don't just—!"

He was cut by a hand pinching his ear hardly, Efrein glances at the person who was squeezing his ear. "Aray ko!"

"Sasagot pa eh! Nasa labanan tayo huwag sabat nang sabat! Laban lang nang

laban!" Relov shouted at him.

The pair ended their quarrel with each other, the gigantium Philippine eagle lowers itself beside Efrein and Relov. Then, Efrein and Relov leap above the back of the gigantium philippine eagle.

The gigantium philippine eagle arises above the sprinting Seji, the enormous dwarf begins to move toward Seji. Efrein and Relov glare at the enormous dwarf hence the pair releases a strong force of wind and fire from their hands; it hits the front of the enormous dwarf making it step back.

Seji once again summons his big wolf, hence he hops on its furry back, the big wolf runs toward the enormous dwarf who was still waving the fire off his face.

"W-We must put an end to that enormous dwarf," Relov clenches his teeth, "even if I must run out of liquid from my body!"

He closes his eyes, the big wolf that he's riding changes its size into the same size as the enormous dwarf, during the process; the gigantium philippine eagle faded away, making Efrein and Relov land into the back of the changing big wolf.

The enormous dwarf was bitten in the shoulder by the enormous wolf, the enormous dwarf cries in pain. Seji opens his eyes, then he glimpses a hand holding a wooden tumbler.

He looks behind him, his eyes sees Relov who was holding the wooden tumbler and he heard him says, "I brought this with me, so if the time like this has come: you must use your fluids to strengthened your tattooed creature, additionally, you must have water to replace the lost fluid."

Seji smiles blissfully as he shifts his eyes toward the wooden tumbler, he grabs it and opens its cap. Hence, he drinks the cold water from the wooden tumbler.

After drinking the cold water from the wooden tumbler: he wipes the liquid off his lip. Seji lends the wooden tumbler back to Relov, Relov accepts the wooden tumbler and puts it in his pocket.

Seji shouts, "SALAMAT REL! NGAYON GAWIN NA NATIN ITO!"

Efrein and Relov nod their head, hereafter, they walk in front of Seji. The enormous wolf brings the enormous dwarf to the ground.

The enormous dwarf grabs the enormous wolf's muzzle, and then he tossed him aside. Seji, Efrein, and Relov grab into the fur of the enormous wolf.

The enormous wolf falls on the ground, and the enormous dwarf gets up and roars toward the enormous wolf.

The enormous dwarf runs toward the enormous dwarf, then an enormous peregrine falcon appears from the far direction so fast, and uses its claws toward the enormous dwarf.

The enormous peregrine falcon exacerbates its claws deeper into the shoulder of the enormous dwarf, then it throws the enormous dwarf towards a building.

The building collapses, an alluring blue-haired woman who has a curvy body was looking down with pity at the three boys.

Seji looks up only to see the woman above grimacing at him, he glares at her making her laugh. Then the enormous peregrine falcon flies away so fast.

Efrein and Relov let go of the fur they're clenching, then they land on the ground, Seji also did the same, and then the enormous wolf stands up.

Seji walks closer towards his pals. "You two, you will need to combine into a ball."

Efrein raises his eyebrows. "Ball? And why so?"

"I think we will be a cannonball, am I right Seji," Relov raised a question while smiling.

Seji didn't smile, yet he nods in agreement, he tells them. "Firstly, Efrein you will need to cover both of you using your wind, please make it bigger. Secondly, Relov you will need to set the wind on fire, and I will handle the rest."

"Sige ba, sabi mo eh." Efrein nodded.

The pair stands beside each other, and the enormous dwarf gets up from the collapsed building, once again, he releases a roar but now it was louder.

Efrein covers him and Relov using the wind, he proceeds to make it larger until it forms into a hard round of wind. The enormous wolf looks down towards the huge round of wind, and he puts it inside his mouth.

Seji who was standing above the head of the enormous wolf, grins. "LAUNCH!"

As a result, the enormous wolf spits the huge round of wind towards the enormous dwarf, then Relov combines his fire with the wind that's surrounding him and Efrein.

The huge round of wind which was now a huge flaming ball hits the naked chest of the enormous dwarf, then its yellow eyes turn into the color of red.

The huge flaming ball disappears after hitting the naked chest of the enormous dwarf. Efrein and Relov fall to the ground with their eyes closed.

The enormous wolf rushes toward the enormous dwarf, unfortunately, a big green fist sends a whack into his muzzle. The enormous wolf forcefully steps back, yet was grabbed at the muzzle, hence the enormous wolf was tossed into the abandoned aligned buildings.

Efrein bit by bit opens his eyes, then follow by Relov who stands up first. Efrein stands up from the ground and immediately saw the poor state of Seji and the enormous wolf the one who was being punched by the enormous dwarf.

"Naubos ang aking enerhiya... Ngunit kailangan ko s-siyang tulungan." Efrein walked slowly towards the battlefield.

Relov exclaims, "Saglit! Halos kakaunti na lang ang enerhiya mo! Maari kang maubusan kapag ginamit mo pa 'yan!"

Efrein was put into a halt, then he retorts, "I cannot just stand there! While knowing that my friend was desperately in need of my help!"

He continues to walk towards the enormous dwarf, then he covers himself in the wind and dashes toward the enormous dwarf's foot.

The wind crushes into the enormous dwarf's foot doing nothing but a little slight scratch on it, causing the enormous dwarf to divert its attention at Efrein. 200 glowing red-orange fireflies go towards the face of the enormous dwarf, and then a big boom occurs in his face causing the enormous dwarf to roar.

The enormous wolf stands up, Seji was furious with the enormous dwarf, hence he summons his bear and eagle tattoo. Then they also become enormous, Seji grits his teeth as he felt extreme thirsty.

The enormous philippine eagle pushes the enormous dwarf causing it to stumble on the ground, the enormous bear scrambles toward the enormous dwarf, using his mouth he bites the head of the enormous dwarf; completely beheading it.

Efrein, Seji, and Relov smirk at the downfall of the enormous dwarf, then all of them lose their consciousness provoking them to fall on the ground.

The three enormous animals evanesce, the enormous dwarf turns into black and it fades away.

Seji was falling on the ground but was caught by a enormous peregrine falcon, the woman smirks as she pinches Seji's cheek.

"Ayos ang ginawa mo aking anak." she said, then she lays her son's head on her purple skirt.

The enormous peregrine falcon flies away. Guardian appears at the battlefield, only to see Efrein and Relov laying unconscious on the ground.

They look around only to see a messy sight of a destroyed building and roads.

On top of a building, a woman wearing a scarf on her head which has a pattern of roses walks away.

"Mukhang nakita ko na siya." she whispered.
