Lucius headed back to his mansion, his expression confused. Lord Hall's words had thrown him off-guard and left him confused. It made him wonder why Mr. White was willing to train him just to deal with an issue like this.

Lucius was trying to decipher the thought behind this offer. He wanted to understand why Mr. White wanted a disciple and why he was selected. Having the two strongest men in the world as his master was something Lucius couldn't wrap his head around.

He was mainly bothered about this because he felt it would be dangerous to become Mr. White's student. But then again, this was an opportunity to get closer to Lyxor's body.

If he becomes Mr. White's disciple, Lucius is bound to get more access to the White House after a while. It will give him the opportunity to get close to Lyxor's true body and gain the main Devour inheritance.
