Everyone exchanged glances, completely shocked and elated by Silver's words, except Lucius.

He ignored everyone and moved over to the corner of the room where he sat and leaned on the wall before shutting his eyes.

He was extremely worn out and needed time to recharge, every other thing was irrelevant to him.

"He hasn't slept since he got here… He stayed awake all through last night looking out for me." Lia explained his actions when she noticed the confusion on the faces of others.

"He looked after you?" Silver was stunned.

Honestly, he expected Lia would be dead before Lucius got to the city zone. All their time in the mansion, Lucius paid her no attention and didn't even converse with her. She just existed around him, and he never acknowledged her presence.

That was one of the main reasons he sent a spy bot to every zone in search of the team. He needed the team together so that he could cover up where the others were lacking.
