Striking A Deal With the President

Two days later, Lucius and Lia were done with their preparations and promptly left their home after they were informed that the limousine was waiting to pick them up. They entered the vehicle and were shocked to Dean and Maya in there, waiting.

"You kept us waiting." Dean said with a smile.

Ever since he and Maya became an item, he became less hostile and friendlier. While Lucius didn't care about his rude comments in the past, he had to admit this was a good change.

"I am the star of the show. It's only natural I make a superhero entrance." Lucius responded with a shrug, which made everyone chuckle.

It is rare to see Lucius joke, or at least that's what they thought. Unknown to them, Lucius meant every word he said, especially since he knew he was the strongest in the group. If they won the GGSO, it would be because of him.
