State Of Emergency

Lei Fei's body was sent hurling so far he appeared above the bustling city of New York. Almost immediately, the skies split apart as Lucius's massive Aether avatar emerged from the skies, its fists surging with energy as it punched down.

"Enough!" Lei Fei's voice bellowed as a dark green energy exploded from the man knocking Lucius's avatar back while obliterating surrounding skyscrapers.

Boom!

Lucius frowned deeply as he heard a familiar flute sound. Lei Fei stood in mid-air, his flute pressed against his lips while he played fiercely.

The ruckus easily gained the attention of civilians below, with many running in fear of getting caught in the crumbling skyscraper.

"This…" Lucius frowned deeply.

He had managed to drive Lei Fei away from their mansion, but now they were in the populated city. Lucius couldn't fight here without killing civilians; even now, he needed to save lives, not fight.
