Lyxor climbed out of the pit with a crazed smile on his face. It felt refreshing controlling a body after a long while. All the time spent in Lucius's mind as a second wheel was suffocating, and it was irritating.

The Xenovian genes never killed his ability to feel but hid away his emotions in his subconscious where Lyxor existed. Because of this, Lyxor was forced to experience those emotions for Lucius and as a being not used to this, it had been enduring all this while.

That's why Lyxor was eager to get rid of Lucius. It wanted Lucius to reach its main body as soon as possible, that was before Lucius became suspicious of its intentions.

Lei Fei's Enigma's Bastion made things even worse, forcing Lyxor into a perpetual state of hibernation. The only way it could awaken was when the devour ability and the Xenovian genes were in use, but even then it felt groggy.
