Mighty Portman

Protagonists make it seem so easy to stop someone from moving forward. They intimidate people and they eventually stop, even when they are children, but I guess I'm not that intimidating. Ms. Portman on the other hand, she was extremely intimidating right now.

I had never seen Ms. Portman's quirk in action before, she never really used it so some of us assumed that she was quirkless. I now know for a fact that she does indeed have a quirk, and it was something that would send nightmares to any villains if she were to be a hero.

Seeing me being slapped away by Tokihiko, Ms. Portman lost all sense of courtesy to the man. He had not only been rude, but he had also been abusive to his daughter and had even assaulted a child that wasn't his own.

I hadn't stopped the recording, we had security cameras set up in this room as well, but they didn't have sound. With evidence like this he was going to prison for at least 40 years. His wife would also be going to prison for at least 10 years for child neglect.

Ms. Portman activated her quirk, summoning forth a set of armor that reminded me of Thor from my past life. She also summoned a cracked hammer to her hands that looked exactly like Mjolnir, but was glowing blue from the cracks.

Tokihiko, upon seeing Ms. Portman, or should I call her the Mighty Thor now, transform grew pale. He knew that there would be no escaping now, not with someone as powerful as she looked. However he wasn't going to give up without a fight.

"Shawn, call the police and Star." She got into a combat stance, prepared to defend me and Himiko from this man who called himself a human. In my and her eyes though he was nothing more than a monster.

I took out my phone and dialed the police, telling them about what was happening here and to hurry. I then pulled out the card that Chloe gave me to contact her, I didn't have Star's contact info, so I had to use Chloe to contact her for me.

"Hello, this is Chloe Bate speaking." Chloe answered the phone after the second ring, much to my relief.

"It's Shawn, I need you to call Star for me and tell her to come to the orphanage as soon as possible." I didn't bother going into details, hopefully she would understand the urgency of the situation by my tone of voice.

"Okay, have you called the police?" She questioned, I didn't know if she had a second phone but I answered fast in case she only had this one phone.

"Yes, they're on their way." I looked back at what was happening with Mighty Thor and Tokihiko. Tokihiko was using his quirk to make his arm into a form of sword while Mighty Thor was using her hammer to stop Tokihiko from advancing towards me or Himiko.

I didn't want to get in the way of their fight so I activated my quirk again, creating a clone and having it help me carry Himiko to behind the drum set. I focused back onto the fight, seeing that Mighty Thor had the upper hand.

"Give me back my daughter!" Tokihiko was yelling while trying to use his hands as clubs to smack away a Mjolnir that was heading towards his head. Unfortunately, Mjolnir split into pieces and missed his fist, reforming behind his fist and smashing into his face.

Tokihiko was sent flying out of the room, I even oof'd when I heard the imapct. His wife did nothing but stand there, watching the fight take place. I didn't know why she wasn't helping her husband, maybe she was sick of him too and used this opportunity to get rid of him.

Either way I was fine with not having Ms. Portman fight more than one person at once. Tokihiko struggled to stand up, having been hit to near unconsciousness from the impact. He didn't speak anymore, instead changing his hands into the heads of morningstars and charging forward to attack.

It was at this point when there was an impact outside the orphanage that stopped him in his tracks. Mighty Thor on the other hand took advantage of the situation and fired a bolt of lightning from her hammer at the man, knocking him into unconsciousness once and for all.

"Shawn! Natalie!" I could hear the voice of Star calling out to us, trying to find us inside the building. I was about to get up to go to the door and call Star but Ms. Portman stopped me.

"Stay here, look after the girl and stay hidden, alright." I just nodded my head, returning to my position next to the unconscious Himiko while Ms. Portman walked out to meet with Star.

I don't know how their meeting went, but after a minute or two of waiting Ms. Portman came back with Star in tow. I could hear some police cars outside, having just arrived on the scene.

We explained what had happened to the police, me even giving them the recordings from when Himiko was crying her eyes out. They happily took the evidence, it did save them the trouble of having to find the evidence themselves.

Himiko was also taken to a hospital where she would stay until she woke up, then she would be transferred to stay in the orphanage with us. I was excited and worried about that, I would have someone else to sing with, but I would also ruin the canon.

Well, I guess with God's other champion existing canon was already ruined, so what the heck, lets enjoy this while we can. I'll make Himiko Toga a pop star, someone that everyone knows about and adores across the globe!

Star asked about how I was, concerned that I may have been injured by Tokihiko. Besides being slapped by the man I wasn't injured in any way, much to Star's relief. I don't know why but she seemed like an older sister looking after her younger brother just then.

I'm not going to complain though, having the world's strongest female hero as my older sister would be so cool! I also called Chloe to let her know that everything was solved and to thank her for calling her sister for me.

She said that I wouldn't be going to the studio to record any new songs for a week to make sure I properly recovered from the incident. She didn't want any mental scars to form, not that I think I had any.

I was glad though, that week would let me spend some time with Himiko if she woke up. The doctors said that she should wake up in a day or two, so that left me with plenty of time to start singing with her and influencing her to become a pop star instead of a villain.

I looked around the room that the fight took place in, overall, nothing was really damaged except the wall outside the room. Ms. Portman must be super skilled to have not damaged anything and to have stopped Tokihiko from damaging something.

I looked around for Ms. Portman and found her talking to a police officer that was finishing off doing some reports. I waved her down and she signaled that she would only be a minute, so I waited.

After that minute the officer walked away, and Ms. Portman walked over to me and gave me a hug. I gave a hug back, not entirely sure what the hug was for, but it felt nice.

"I'm so glad you're okay, if anything happened to you then that man wouldn't be going to prison, he would be going to a morgue." There was a dangerous glint in her eyes as she spoke, but I didn't notice that, instead I noticed the love that she felt for me.

"I'm fine, though I wanted to ask you something." I wasn't quite sure how she would feel about me asking about her quirk, after all, she has never used it before someone since I have known her so she may have some feelings about it.

"You want to know what my quirk is don't you." She guessed and I nodded my head in affirmation. She sighed and began explaining. "My quirk is called Mjolnir, it allows me to summon a hammer that gives me the powers of the Norse god of thunder Thor."

I nodded my head, so she literally was just the Thor of this universe. That was really cool!

"However, it also causes me to suffer from illnesses if I use if for too long, that's why I don't use it too often." This caused me to be wide eyed. She just said that she would probably get sick from using her quirk, and it was all my fault.

And as if she could read my mind, Ms. Portman wrapped me in a hug once again. "Don't you dare think that. I would never allow you to live with someone like him."

Once again I hugged back, feeling the love from her. "Thanks, mom."
