Unofficial party

"Hey you are late today." Roy said. He waited around half an hour for her in the canteen, but only now he could find her.

Serene took a deep breath to get her breath back to normal. "Yeah I am sorry me and Harry had a fight this morning and messed up my whole bun."

"Fight? Why?" He thought Harry and her are good kind of siblings. Though he doesn't want to be judgemental but he always thought because they are not siblings by blood that's why they might be kind to each other. But they fight too!

Serene shook her hand in front of her face "No particular reason" She took a mouthful of water before continuing "He poked me while I was eating, I warned him but still he slapped my forehead while heading to the kitchen.

So I needed to get back to him for that, at the least. So I also kicked him twice, then our fight started. Finally when Henry couldn't take it, he helped me to beat Harry too. And in the end I won!!!!" She happily declared her success.

After hearing her story he couldn't help but ask "Are you guys really 18 and 19?" He never heard siblings fight this way till even at this age!

She bobbed her head nodding"Yup why?"

He smiled gently and said "I highly doubt you!"

She narrowed her eyes with lips twitched in annoyance. She kicked his legs from under the table "Hmph what do you mean by that! He started first. Ask him if you have doubts."

Ignoring her answer he energetically said "So I have great news for us."

"What!!" Her eyes sparkled with curiosity.

He paused for 5 seconds to make the situation more exciting and finally said "Our unofficial Freshers party by seniors!"

She almost squealed with excitement. She pursed her lips and asked with excitement "Am I allowed to drink?"

"Of course"

She squealed immediately "Yeahhhhh! I am gonna drink whole buck-"

Roy closed her mouth with his palm immediately before she could complete and took all the around's attention. "Calm down! You can't say things like this in college."

She controlled her excitement and asked "Ohh! So when it is happening?"

"In two or three weeks max." He immediately replied.

"Great!"

While they were going for their first class he informed her "By the way today we have generic class again!" The class where both first and second year students combine.

She halted her steps with annoyance "Huh! Why again? We just had our generic class two days before"

He caressed her head and chuckled "Yes my cutie but we have generic class 3 days a week." He knew how much she hated this class, not the subject but the class.

She raised her hand in annoyance and yelled dramatically "Great just kill me!"

"Hey why do you hate him even now. Everything is sorted." He asked curiously. Even after all this week Serene still hated to attend this class.

Serene furrowed her brows with confusion. "I don't hate him. I don't hate someone this easily. It's just when I am around with my friends I like to chill.

In generic class I have lots of friends but in front of him, I have to control myself and sit silently at the last bench. And that's where I get annoyed!" She actually doesn't hold that much grudge against Soham anymore.

Though she is angry, that's not hatred. Instead she would say she never thought of liking him.

Roy amusingly looked at her "Then why do you even care. Just ignore him." The best way to handle this matter right away.

She pouted her lips "I wish I could but if I do fun things, my eyes will roam everywhere but if I saw him accidentally, my pledge will be broken." Her promise to Soham matters to her. Because she doesn't want to be accused for going back to her words. And she remembered his discontent eyes when he looked at her first time. She don't want that look again!

He shrugged away her head playfully "You and your dramatic pledges"

'Shit Serene you forgot your purse and phone both... Great you are only left with 200 bucks that's all!' Today because of the fight she forgot her phone and wallet at the table. Now she only have emergency money in her hand 'Well finally i got some use of this'
