I am an Orphan

"It's been a week but we are still unable to get any details of her! Aren't you angry anymore?" Varun said. Right now they are sitting in the college canteen having their lunch. 

"Hmm." Though for three days he felt very frustrated but after the fourth he knew it was of no use. Serene information was well hidden. Initially he was surprised that why would her information be hidden this well but later he didn't mind that part either. They are unrelated anyway.

"Uh huh! So you are still trying to find my information with all your might Huh!" Serene was going for lunch when she heard Varun's voice. She automatically knew about whom they were talking about.

Varun got startled by voice, he didn't feel any presence near him till now. 

Soham knew that someone was coming towards them and that person is definitely good at hiding his or her movements very well. What shocked him was that, that serene is actually that person. 

He knew that she knew martial art but on this level! Little Shocking.

Varun didn't bother to stick to that thought and replied "Of course my friend won't let you go this easily. He will have his payback for what you have done to him. And i Varun his friend will help him. Right My friend?" 

Soham didn't bother to reply any of them, just looked towards Varun disdainfully and shook his head in disappointment.

Varun lips twitch with his reaction. Still he didn't mind either cause, Soham never braced him anyway.

"It's okay I don't mind. Anyway I really like your support for your friend Varun" Serene said. She had discerned that even though both Soham and Varun don't look like a good friend but still they always stick together to each other.

Varun eyes widened with a bright smile "You do! I like you too!" He shamelessly changed his angry tone to love his sick tone. But before he could say anything Soham's threatening gaze stopped him to start.

"What? You don't like me supporting you. You don't like me supporting myself. What do you want me to do?" Varun whine 

"Shut up" Soham hissed in angerm

"Tsk tsk I am on my way." Without waiting for a reply Serene went away from them.

"What were you doing?" Roy asked her after taking one of the corner seats. He has been finding seats for their lunch when he notices that Serene was talking to someone, who's back he couldn't recognise.

"Nothing just talking to Varun and somebody" Serene nonchalantly replied. She didn't mind Soham's presence . Moreover, she is very bad at memorising names. If she won't meet that person regularly she can forget that person's name very easily.

Roy got the second name by his memory already and laughed. He didn't know about the Serene problem and thought that Serene hates Soham "Hahaha I know you hate him but you also should understand that some people like to have distance from girls for their future girlfriend too. That's quite commendable as a boy."

"Yeah I understand that. My brother told me the same. That's why I just try to soothe the problem between him and me. And right now I can see that he doesn't mind me anymore either." Serene nodded her head understandably. She actually finds this nature quite nice from a woman's perspective.

"Good let's forget about that incident. Let's talk about yourself." Roy said and served her carton milk in paper glass.

"Me? What?" Serene took a sip and asked.

"You met my family the day before yesterday, why don't you tell me about your family!"

Two days before yesterday Roy's family came to pick her for the family dinner as a gratitude that she made a friend with him and helped him a lot with nature building.

Serene ponders for a second to think what to say "My family... Amm I have a big brother Harry, you must have heard a lot about him from me and I have a younger brother named Henry." She went with a normal intro.

"Yeahh I heard a lot about them. What about parents? What do they do?" Roy always heard about brothers from her mouth all time, never like mom and dad. So he asked excitedly.

"I don't have parents. I am an orphan." Serene said

"Orphan!!"
