Kurao then aims the weapon small metal barreled again at the weapon rack while holding the wooden grip before pulling the small metal stick, only to get the sound of a click and no bang sound like unlike before.

*CLICK*

"No, I was just curious I will continue searching." Kurao said placing the weapon back on the table.

Vayla sighs at his action before going back to her seat.

'What is that hunk of metal? I didn't see that in here before, or maybe I just didn't notice it cause of how dull it appears.'

Vayla shakes her head and returns to reading the book she has been reading since arriving.

Kurao after placing the weapon on the table starts walking towards the last shelfing units that were holding ingredients but that weren't on the alchemy wall. As he was staring at all the random items on the shelfs, his mind was still wandering to something unrelated to the presented items.

'What is that contraption? It seems so weak, but makes such a terrifying noise. Plus it was a one use item, that seems kind of worthless to be honest.'

He kept pondering as he swept his light blue eyes across the things on the shelf.

'I don't even know what any of these colored orbs are they seem to be just fancy lights, but knowing father these are probably more then meets the eye.'

He picks up a orb that was about the size of his fist. The orb glowed the color yellow, but he could see a mini tornado inside of the orb making ripples. Intrigued by this he puts it back and picks up another orb, but this one glowed with a brownish gray light and inside it appeared that the orb was breaking from the inside out, but nothing was happening it just looped this with occasional changes in the sequence.

The orbs piqued his interest so he turned around to ask Vayla about them, just to see her brows furrowed and staring at the book in her hands with a frown as she flips the pages. Noticing the not so happy mood she was in, Kurao decided to hold off on the questions and decided to silently look at the rest of the different colored orbs, before getting bored and walking to second to last stop on his field trip around The Emperor's personal treasury.

Kurao stood in front of a tall bookshelf that had two columns, and five shelves with a wall of glass blocking them off from presumably dust Kurao thought.

The first column on the bookshelf had a variety of books that varied in colors and book size. While the second column of the bookshelf seemed more bland with all the books sporting a brown or dark green cover, making his choice of where to start.

He opens the glass door of the first column of the bookshelf, pulling out the first book that he can reach. Seeing the bright red spine and cover of the book he reads the title 'Eruption - Fire Origin Spell'.

Kurao opens his eyes wide seeing the words, He was aware that the spell Eruption was a Legendary spell that could destroy villages and even small cities.

Seeing this Kurao pulls out another book from the first column and reads the title just to see the same thing he thought. 'Does that mean all the books on this shelf are Legendary Grade!? Is this spell as well one? 'Earth Rapture'

Kurao steps on the shelf to reach the higher shelves pulling out a white cover book. 'Freezing Hell, Holy... Why do we have so many Legendary Grade Elemental spells? There's got to be like 40 different spells on this shelf? From what Aunt Vayla told me most Kingdoms and Empires only have a few, but we have tens of them!?'

Kurao stops for a moment to process all of this information as it felt his brain catch up. 'Would father let me back in here? Would he let me choose another thing to take if I show results?' Kurao thoughts start to spin as he thinks deeper about this as a sudden realization of all the items he has seen in the room have untold value.

Unlike most his age he has more of a adult thought process logically and knows that most of the items in here would cause a storm to the outside to world if anyone were to know, which makes him feel even more pressure from choosing an item from the room.

'Most of the items in this room would make any King sell their entire kingdom just to obtain. There is no way father would just let his young inexperienced child just take a treasure so valuable from here... '

'Unless this is another test? That would be the only thing that makes sense cause the only other child of father that I know of to enter here was Soliel and he was also young and experienced.'

Kurao starts to recompose himself as the distraught look on his face slowly turns to a slight

smile as he remembers what his father said when he cultivated to Mana Sensing Stage 2.

' "Go to my treasury when you are ready to choose something, but don't be hasty cause I will only allow you to take one item so choose wisely or you might regret it." '

'Well if this is a test, what would he even test me on? Well whether it is a test or not I should already start to eliminate things I shouldn't take from here.'

Kurao switched his mindset of getting opportunity to further his magician career, to something that will pass a test that his father may or may have not made in accordance with this situation.

'Well I think that crosses weapons off the list. Since first I can't even use most of them, and second they are to flashy and obvious. I think that also crosses off most of the armor as well even though I haven't checked that section yet. That leaves me with the less flashy items. I would bet that father wouldn't let me take out anything flashy since that would bring to much attention and compromise the security of the empire.'

Kurao tries to brainstorm on what he should take as he knows that if he chooses the wrong item from the room it was likely to be confiscated and he would likely return with nothing. 'But there's no telling if he doesn't even do that even if I choose a item that fits his test. Wait what item did Soliel take out of here?' Suddenly getting an idea to help him narrow his choices and forgetting his hesitation earlier with how Vayla's mood was like, he shouts across the room.

"What did Soliel take when he came here?"

Vayla hearing this Kurao's shout looks up from her book and gives a slight smile as she responds in a now slightly annoyed tone.
