Chapter 11

A trail of purple light streaked across the ground and then cut through the tired air that was shrouded in a pitch-black mist. The purple light came from the photon energy released from the slash of the cosmogenic sword of someone hiding in the darkness.

Quickly the unexpected attack passed through Sachi's left side and then hit the giant spider monster that almost attacked Sachi with a spear in its mouth. The giant red spider web that covered part of the place was broken so easily.

That short buzzing sound made Sachi who had almost lost her fighting spirit startled. She recognized the attack that had just saved her from the giant spider monster.

"Naville?" she muttered.

The spider's red webs were released thanks to the attack from Navile. Now Sachi plunged fast and almost hit the ground if Navile didn't grab her soon.

"Don't pay attention to me, look at the enemy in front of you first!" Sachi exclaimed annoyed. She pointed at the giant spider monster that was trying to get up after being blown away by Navile's attack. Then spontaneously hit Navile's head who was holding him.

Navile and Sachi's golden irises met for a while as if hinting at something. In silence they devise a strategy to defeat a giant spider monster that turns out to have unexpected powers.

Finally after being blown away, the giant spider monster managed to get up and move back towards Navile and Sachi. The black spear had disappeared out of nowhere, but with the disappearance of the spear, the spider monster's movements accelerated. As if to immediately reply to Navile who had made its bounce.

The monster shot through the air after stamping its two hind legs on the ground. Then lift up the two front legs as the distance between them is getting closer.

Navile raised his sword forward while crossing to the left, then as the distance narrowed, he swung the Soul Boa's sword that had been shrouded in purple light from bottom left to top right in a swift motion. Purple light shot from the blade followed by a brief buzz.

The purple light managed to hit the giant spider monster's forelegs with a bang. The spider monster that almost pounced on Navile was pushed back and was forced to cancel its attack.

Navile did not want to miss this good opportunity. When the spider monster's position was unstable, the gap to climb behind the head opened wide.

Navile stomped his foot and sped off as fast as lightning. His eyes sharpened. He focused on the spider monster's weak point. However, just as he was about to reach his destination, the spider monster had already corrected its stance and swung its front legs.

Navile lowered his head and managed to dodge the spider monster's sudden attack. The spider monster continued to swing its two front legs alternately as if it had managed to lure Navile to close.

The giant spider monster's pointed legs swung swiftly and hollowed out the ground. If Navile didn't have the right and quick instincts, he might have been stabbed by the spider's legs over and over again.

Splinters of dirt fell from the spider monster's feet. While Navile was still calm facing the enemy in front of him. He kept looking for loopholes while continuously dodging. Navile thought hard, he couldn't keep dodging, right?

Navile held back the two spider legs that attacked him alternately with his sword, He managed to dodge all the attacks from the giant spider so calmly. But the fight won't work if it continues like this. He had to create an opening in order to attack his enemy's weak point.

Navile strengthened his sword grip before he swung with more force. A loud clank echoed around. The swing of his sword managed to stop the spider monster's attack that looked vicious and merciless.

The giant spider monster took a step back, the left front leg that was hit by Navile's sword became slightly wobbly even though the black crystal that protected it was still firmly attached to its body. Navile slashed the monster's left leg once again until it bent completely.

Navile quickly took the opportunity to climb onto the monster's back. But his steps were stopped by two large claws that moved unexpectedly. The jagged claws that appeared from under the monster's chin moved as if they wanted to cut off Navile's body. He also responded more quickly, his sword resisting the swing of the spider's claws alternately until sparks flew from Navile's claws and sword.

Although not as strong as the two front legs, in fact the swing of the spider monster's claws was enough to make Navile troublesome. Even though the enemy's weak point is in sight, the monster in front of him has many ways to surprise him.

The claws continued to swing, but their strength was not comparable to the monster's two front legs. Navile didn't want to waste any more time, as a short pause was created, he strengthened his sword swing. The purple light from the photon energy that enveloped his sword shot out and managed to stop the spider monster's two claws.

Sachi who was a few meters away from Navile and the spider monster seemed to be ready with her lightning magic. The yellowish-white magic activation pattern was perfectly formed and in an instant a flash of lightning flashed rapidly.

When Sachi attacked with lightning flash magic, Navile was already on top of the spider monster's back. Then. Simultaneously the attacks of the two hit the spider monster's weak point so hard.

The yellowish white light from Sachi's magic merged with the purple light that Navile's sword flashed, hitting the red crystal hard behind the giant spider monster's head.

Navile jumped off the monster's back and made sure their combination attack destroyed the enemy's troublesome weak point. And, within seconds the red crystal shattered along with the giant spider monster that didn't seem to have accepted its defeat yet. The monster struggled before finally turning into shards of light that scattered in the air.

Slowly the black fog that enveloped the battle ground disappeared. The cold air was gradually fading away. The blue sky is back. There were no traces of the monsters they had defeated, only the marks of the battle that had ravaged the area of ​​the Dolls sealing monument.

"It's over, huh? Very troublesome," Sachi said with a deep breath.

"It's troublesome." Navile replied in a lazy tone of voice. He swung his sword downwards to the right as if to clean his sword from the remnants of the battle.

"Hey… you don't deserve to say that. I'm the one who's bothered the most this time."

Sachi snorted in annoyance. Her two feet stomped hard.

"I'll explain everything, but we have to get back to the fleet. There's something that has been bothering me a lot since," said Navile. The look in his eyes showed his slightly anxious mood.

Without waiting for Sachi's response, Navile swung his sword gently at the air in front of him to open the dimensional gate.
