Cooking for Casper

"Casper, say hello to her." Noel held the child and made him face Elizabeth.

"Hello, ma'am." Casper smiled at the beautiful lady who was wordlessly staring at him.

Though she felt quite old being called ma'am but she ignored it, she had a strong urge to hug the cute little child but her feet were rooted to the ground and her lips felt like it was sealed with glue, she couldn't move neither could she speak.

"Why don't you lead her to a chair, Casper?" Noel suggested and the child immediately left his arms, he fearlessly walked towards Elizabeth and held her fingers, he ignored the shock look on her face and led her to the chair to sit. The kid was young but he was smart, his father never brought anyone home except his uncle who visited from time to time and the househelp who came to clean and cook then leave right after.
