Chapter 56: Visiting Komi-San's House

When only a few documents were left, the girls excused themselves.

Kaede had to attend a family meeting, and Nene had to take care of her siblings. 

Nodding in understanding and wishing them luck, I watched her leave. When I finished everything, I took it to the teachers' office. 

On the way, I could see Komi and Yadano practicing in the courtyard. I smiled seeing them making an effort and continued on my way. 

When I reached the entrance, I could see small drops starting to fall, soon turning into a full-blown drizzle. 

After a sudden thought, I looked to the side where emergency umbrellas are kept. 

In the place where mine was, a note was found. 

Najimi: "I borrowed it for today... I'll return it later. Sincerely, your lovely childhood friend Osana Najimi." 

I squeezed the paper with frustration; Najimi always so inopportune as always. 

Tadano: "I wonder if I'll still get a cold even with a 10 in resistance." 

Just as I was about to check, a sweet voice behind me caught my attention. 

Komi: "W-Wait." 

When I turned around, I came across a somewhat soaked Komi-san. Her breath was quick and agitated, an indication that she had hurried here. Her sports uniform was partially wet and strangely perfectly outlined the curves of her body. Small drops of dew fell from her hair, and her cheeks were rosy from the effort. 

It was a charming sight. 

If Yamai were here, she would surely take hundreds of photos and then faint. 

Komi: "T-Tadano-kun, are you leaving now?" she asked. 

Tadano: "Yes? By any chance, do you need something? I can help you if you want..." 

Komi: "W-Would you mind accompanying me to do some shopping?" 

Somewhat puzzled by the sudden request, I replied. 

Tadano: "I don't really understand the situation, but it's okay... although you shouldn't change your clothes. You might catch a cold if you go around with your uniform soaked." I suggested. 

Komi: "!!!" 

The girl was surprised for a moment and quickly glanced at herself. Seeing how her uniform clung to her body, she blushed deeply. 

After letting me see an expression for which I would pay a million dollars, she ran off to the locker rooms saying.

Komi: "Please wait a moment..." 

I smiled seeing her more open than when the year began. 

I wonder how much faster Komi-san will evolve with my help. 

*POV Komi*

How embarrassing... 

He saw me like that... 

Will he think I'm indecent? 

No! 

He doesn't have those kinds of thoughts... 

Tadano-kun is a very kind person, he wouldn't be like that... 

Stop these intrusive thoughts! 

I have to focus... 

I managed to get him to agree, I just have to follow Mama's plan and everything will be fine...

*flashback* 

Komi-san was hiding among her sheets, looking like a scared little animal. 

Her mother, like every morning, approached her room to wake her up. 

When she saw her in that state, she was surprised for a moment and asked.

Shuuko: "Are you okay, dear? Does your stomach hurt or do you feel sick?" she asked somewhat distressed. 

Komi vigorously shook her head, but she didn't come out of her hiding place either. 

Shuuko's gaze became curious, and she asked,

Shuuko: "Uhm... Is something wrong? Things at school? Did you fight with someone? Or a new friend? Or maybe... is it because of your dear Tadano-kun?" she asked teasingly. 

Hearing Tadano-kun, the girl jumped a little, this did not go unnoticed by Shuuko, who quickly understood the situation. 

With a funny expression as well as a mischievous smile on her face, she said.

Shuuko: "Ohhh... so it's Tadano-kun. Did he finally confess to you? Tell mommy, mommy is very interested in knowing everything that happened." She said very cheerfully.

Komi vigorously denied and hid deeper into her futon. Refusing to answer.

Her mother pouted at her daughter's refusal. 

Without further ado, she pulled the futon with force, managing to pull out a trembling Shouko who clung to her plush/friend Dekai-Kun.

Komi looked somewhat annoyed at her mother.

Then she looked at herself and finally at Dekai-Kun, complicated feelings reflected in her gaze. After letting out a sigh, she looked at her mother seriously and said.

Komi: "Mom, how can I express my feelings to Tadano-kun... I don't have the courage to tell him directly. Even when he gave me such a precious gift like this... I don't know what to do... he is so kind... but I'm afraid... I'm a coward... he has always been so kind to me... but I... I" the girl tried to maintain a firm expression but as the words passed her tone became trembling and sad, in the end a few tears gathered at the corner of her eyes threatening to fall. 

Shuuko smiled seeing her daughter like this. 

Her cute baby was growing up. 

Giving her a warm maternal hug, she spoke. 

Shuuko: "Oh dear, it's normal to have these fears, you don't have to blame yourself... if you need help getting your boy, mommy will help you as much as you need..." 

Komi looked at her mother, and a glimmer of hope shone in her eyes. 

Komi: "Really?"

Shuuko: "Of course! Mommy will support you in everything you need... let's see, why don't you try first to get his attention with your feminine charms?"

Komi: "What do you mean?"

Shuuko: "Oh come on dear... you won't tell me you haven't noticed the good figure you have or the assets you carry? You know mommy is proud that you have completely inherited my good figure. With that, you have half the way secured and..." she was quickly interrupted by her daughter who vigorously shook her head.

Her face was as red as a tomato when she understood what her mother was referring to.

Komi: "I-I could never do something like that..."

Shuuko sighed and then said.

Shuuko: "You know dear, there are times when it's right to be somewhat aggressive... from what you tell me and what I've seen that boy is kind and good-looking... it wouldn't be surprising if later you find out that you're not the only one interested in him, who knows you might have one or more rivals. How would you feel if because of your fears or insecurities today or later you find out that he already has someone else and forgets about you?"

Komi: "NO!" she shouted.

It was so strong that her Shuuko was stunned for a moment.

Komi was trembling, and her fists were clenched.

Just thinking about Tadano-kun having fun and pampering another woman while leaving her aside made her shudder, it was such a heartbreaking thought that she felt her heart breaking into thousands of pieces.

Dark thoughts swirled in her mind for a moment.

Komi: "He can't... he mustn't... I won't let him... I don't want him to drift away from me!" she exclaimed.

A new determination shone in her eyes.

Shuuko was surprised for a moment to see her daughter's reaction and then smiled, her smile was wild and unrestrained, she was full of pride.

Shuuko: "Hahaha it seems you have also inherited my strong will... Good... Good... its Very good. Then let's make a plan for you to be alone with Tadano-kun..."

*End of Flashback*

I had decided to do my best today.

Today I would confess my feelings no matter what. 

When I was training, I saw him out of the corner of my eye in a window watching us.

If he was so free, it meant he had finished his paperwork and was about to go home. 

Immediately I apologized to Yadano-San and ran to the entrance. 

In the middle of my run, I could see it starting to rain.
