Daily Routine

Last night after we reached the dorm our luggage was already delivered, even though I use the word luggage it was nothing much, it was mostly electronic gadgets like smartphone or alarm clock and not to mention the clothes. We weren't allowed to bring much with us to begin with since a student can find almost any type of product here in the school affiliated mall which they call Tolbana mall, at least that's what we were told. In between my clothes, I found an unevenly huge black ribbon. It is something which I'm used to wearing since my childhood, I can't recall when but my father brought it for me, even though I told him to not send extra stuff.

Arranging our luggage wasn't much of a problem, in the room which we were provided, there was already a lot of furniture present, at first I thought maybe it was provided to the students who lived in this room before us but the furniture looked too new for something which was in use for a long time.

There was a wash basin right on the corner of the opposite wall to the entrance, next to it we had an empty platform above which there were several cupboards, just one glace at it was enough to tell that it was a place supposed to be set up with kitchen utensils. But since there was no stove present, the student living in the room had to purchase it. On the adjacent corner was placed a large double Almirah, it was divided from the centre vertically. I chose the left side for my use and Koharu went with the right side. Then we had a bunker bed, it too was not small by any means, the image I had of a regular bunker bed was something of the size which can fit small children but since I never saw one before so can't really say much about it. By the way, Koharu chose the lower bunk, she said she feels more comfortable sleeping in somewhere closed off from all the sides. We also had AC installed in the room, it's scary how much effort the school is putting just for the student's comfort. Even with all this, we still had a lot of free space left. They sure gave us a commodious room.

After getting done arranging the room, we went to the restaurant in the Tolbana mall. It felt very weird at first, going out to eat alone without any adult, I'm not very used to it but as the time passed it got somewhat comfortable. As for the bill, Kizmel-sensei informed us that all our expenses for this month will be added as debit on our names and will be paid off by the credit we receive at the beginning of every month, the credit will be in form of a currency called *Col*, the amount of col a pair gets may differ from other pairs because it'll be provided on the basis of their performance throughout the month. The time limit to pay off the debt provided to each pair is two months, if the debt isn't paid by then, a huge penalty will be incurred on the students responsible for it. They haven't told what's the penalty though.

In any case, the food was really good. We didn't do much after that, went straight to the room and slept since the school timing was 07:55 AM.

Next day in the early morning, it was around 06:30 AM when I woke up, of course thanks to the alarm clock. Last night we decided to set up the alarm early so that we'll have enough time to prepare for the school. Koharu got out of bed five minutes later than me so I got to use the bathroom first.

We left for the school when there were still fifteen minutes left since it's a ten minutes walk from the dorm.

The big black ribbon my father had sent, I was wearing it today, on our way Koharu commented on it.

"That's a really cute ribbon you have, it suits you." She said in a sweet voice.

I was expecting some kind of comment from her on it but didn't really expected it to be this positive. Well, I've been wearing this since childhood so guess my appearance started to match with it.

"It doesn't look weird right?" I asked.

"Hmm, it sure is a bit bigger than your average ribbons but it's quite attractive, it's really holding your ponytail well."

"Oh... Thanks."

It's not just a bit bigger, when I was a child, the size of ribbon was larger than the size of my head, even now that I'm 15 it still is too big to be used as a hairband...

At school, the classes went by without much happening since it was still the start of the school year, all we did was introduce ourselves to our subject teachers. All the teachers did asked us to purchase study material from the mall because the classes will start from tomorrow.

During the break, we went to the school cafeteria where we met with Lisbeth and Silica and then acquired a table for four, after getting our food we started talking.

"Thanks again for yesterday." Lisbeth started.

"Yeah, I'm fine now." Silica added.

"That's nice to know, by the way, how did you guys liked the school? It's been making a really good impression on me till now." Koharu said.

"It's totally cool! Our room was filled with so much expensive stuff, they are also providing us all sort of facilities, it feels like we are in a 5 star hotel!"Lisbeth started speaking excitedly.

The conversation continued on with the cheerful mood for a while and at some point, the topic of Pitohui-senpai was brought up.

"So what are you going to do now? She challenged you for the swimming race right." Silica directed that question to Koharu.

"Yeah, about that I've been troubled too. I have zero experience with swimming, if I went to the match as I'm now, it will surely end up in defeat with me drowning in the pool... Though, Kūnya will teach me how to swim so I'll try to improve as much as I can."

"Well, I'm not that good with swimming too, I can swim but not fast enough to compare to the speed of a pro. Though, I'll try my best to teach you." I replied.

"She is a swimming club member so we'll need to try very hard." Silica said.

"Though, she was being awkwardly considerate of us, she decided the date of the match on the day when we won't have to worry about our tests, even if she knew that all first year's have their periodicals two weeks after the school started, she had no reason to consider it. It's been bugging me since last night." Lisbeth commented.

"Now that you mentioned it, it feels weird to me now too." Koharu said.

Maybe she did it because she wanted her opponent to give their best? That feels like a stupid reasoning but from what I got to know about her yesterday, that may really be the reason.

"Whatever it may be, we'll just have to try our best." Koharu said with a confident smile. "I believe myself to be somewhat of a fast learner so I'll probably be able to learn how to swim by then, we got two weeks."

She really seem confident about it, if it's her maybe she can even beat Pitohui-senpai. I hope it all goes well.
