When worlds collide

~Chapter 9~

First-person

Yukia's POV

The steaming hot water washes over me, making my body slowly begin to relax, at the soothing warmth a small knock came at the door

"Friend Yukia, here's some clothes" Starfire's voice rings from the other side of the door, I Hear the door open slightly before quietly shutting back again

"Thank you Starfire" I reply in a low voice if she heard me I would be surprised.

Reaching out I turn the water off pulling the curtain back and grabbing a towel to dry myself of with, stepping on to the soft Matt underneath my feet I twirl my toes around the Matt's Fabric, it was so soft, I reach for the clothes sitting on a stand beside the sink, and quickly get dressed, a scowl comes to my face when I realize what I thought was a T-shirt actually turned out to be a long dress, the dress was a light whitish color with a ribbon on both of the sleeves it went all the way down to my feet, it was actually quite comfortable though I wasn't too fond of it, I did not like dresses too much, my blue eyes look up into the mirror a smile barely placed on my lips. My long red hair fell passed my shoulders cascading down my back, I turn to walk out of the bathroom and down the narrow hallway to where the Titans sat in the small living room each having a sort of bored look on their faces

"Hey guys" I great as I walk towards the long couch, taking a seat beside Raven and Cyborg.

"You feel better?" Cyborg questions a mysterious grin coming to his lips, what was that look for? I raise an eye brow slightly at him "When your hair is wet it makes you look so much shorter then usual" He teases a chuckle coming from his lips.

Jumping up of the couch I jab a finger at him an anime vein instantly appearing on the side of my head.

"Hey, it's not my fault" I bark in a jokish tone another chuckle escaping from the robotic teens mouth "if you would shrink I would be taller then you" I put in crossing my arms over my chest. how dare he make fun of my height!! I mean come on I came to Beastboy's shoulders at least. In human form.

"Even if I did shrink you would still be short" Cyborg shoots back with an amusing look coming over his face.

Robin and Beastboy also seemed to be laughing but where trying desperate to hide it behind couches, I deadpan at Cyborg's statement.

"Your so mean" I pout childishly as I turn my back to him. Now facing the wall.

"Awe man, that really hurts" Cyborg puts in, his hand over his heart as a hurt expression crossing his face.

"Don't sweet Yukia your only a few inches shorter than me" Beastboy points out cheekily.

"So not far, two against one" I continue to pout anime tears continuing to spill from my eyes. One of Beastboy's arms slings around my neck his other hand ruffles up my wet hair, at which I'm quick to swat away. A chuckle escaping from the green boy's lips, as I glare up at him.

"I will bite you both" I threaten darkly, my fangs sharpening a little in my mouth.

Both of them blink at each other, before gazing back at me. I guess trying to figure out if my threat was true or not. Beastboy pulls his arm back from around my neck his green eyes gazing down at me. Cyborg grins brightly a knowing look coming to his face.

"You wouldn't do that" he decides finally his arms crossing over his metal chest "you love us to much"

"No, I don't" I snap back "that's all in your heads"

"You love us" Beastboy sings pointedly "You would leave us if you didn't"

"I could just be pretending" I point out mysteriously.

"Yea, right" Robin speaks up suddenly a small grin coming to his lips as I deadpan

"I'll bite your legs off and make you shorter" I murmur, flashing my pointy white teeth at the three boys the idea sounding pretty good.

"You would not" Beastboy states shaking his head back and forth in silent protest.

"Besides my legs are made of metal" Cyborg smartly points out. I lower my head having forgotten about that, a thinking look coming to my face, as I try to think of a come back to that, at the moment nothing came to mind a low sigh escapes from my lips, before all three boys suddenly burst out laughing. At which I roll my eyes good naturally. I'll show them.

I focus sone of my energy into my body my eyes turning a light blue color as three little energy bubbles pop up around me floating a second around my head, before rushing towards the three laughing boys Gently pushing them backwards.

Cyborg and Robin easily keep there balance there eyes now glaring back at me a playful look on there faces, an innocent look coming to my face as I stare back at them.  Beastboy however stumbles a few meters backwards before finally tripping over his own feet, and falling to the ground with a small thud. A low grunt coming from his lips.

"That was Smooth" Raven mumbles her eyes glancing over to Beastboy who was still on the ground a cheekish grin Crossing his lips as he gazes back at her, rubbing the back of his head.

"Yeah, Beastboy's now shorter than me" I cheer jumping up and down excitedly. A playful scowl crosses the green boys face as he stares back at me.

"That was not far" He pouts as he gets back to his feet, and pretends to whip invisible dirt from his clothing,

"All fair and love and war my friend" I chuckle sarcastically getting a slight eye roll from the green boy.

Putting my arm around his neck I lock him up in a head lock, with Beastboy immediately flailing his arms wildly behind him. Trying to get free from my grasp. My other hand ruffling up his dark green hair. Releasing him, I step away from him. Hearing him grumble somethings under his breath.

"friends this is so fun" Starfire chirps loudly, a couple of giggles coming from her lips as she jumps up and down her beautiful hair bouncing on her back.

I smile back at her, silently glad she was enjoying herself despite all the joking being aimed at me, I really did love these guys with all my heart, they really knew how to make me feel better. I don't know where I would be without them, possible dead if I was honest.

"And friend Yukia you look great in that dress" Starfire points out randomly

"Thank you" I reply as I gaze down at the White dress, I can't help the scowl that crosses my face. I still didn't like the stupid dress too much and possibly never would, but for now, it would have to do since It was the only thing clean I had To wear here, I take in a breath and look over to the window watching as bright sunlight casts in through the blinds.

"I can scents Naruto," I murmur rhetorically though the blonde was outside I could still recognize his scent pretty well from up here possibly due to the  window being slightly opened. High scents really came in handy.

"He's at that small ramen shop again" Robin puts in having seen Naruto disappear into the shop earlier.

"Does he ever get tired of that stuff?" Cyborg wonders loudly He liked the ramen he tried a few days ago, it was great, but he wasn't crazy about it, not to the point where he would eat it all the time like the blonde seemed to.

"I'm going to go see him" I mutter with a smile at my friends before turning to head out the door waving a hand back at them.

"Be careful Yukia" Robin replies his masked eyes gazing over at me from the window

"I know, I will don't worry" I says as I exit the room shutting the door quietly behind me.

Third person

Sitting down at his favorite ramen shop Naruto glances over the menu in front of him having been to the small ramen shop millions of times he already knew what he wanted.  Quickly placing his order he sits back in his chair impatiently waiting for his bowl of ramen to finish, his blue eyes reading over the menu again.

"Hey Naruto" A female voice suddenly comes from behind him causing him to jump.

The blonde turns his head gazing over his shoulder. a broad grin crossing his face when he sees Yukia standing there, her arms crossed over her chest. She walks over to him and sits down beside him.

"Hi Yukia chan" He greets, just has his bowl of hot steamy ramen was placed down in front of him causing his mouth to water

"Are you doing ok?" Yukia ask her head gazing down at her lap a qualty look crossing over her face, Naruto peeks his eyes over at her.

"I'm doing great" Naruto answers brightly, grabbing at a pair of chopsticks, and easily pulls them apart.

"I've actually, never felt better, when I woke up, I was in the hospital but my injury, it didn't hurt even when I moved" He says trailing of to take a bit of his ramen. A sparkle seems to come to his eyes as he continues to talk "Sakura told me you're the one who healed me, I really should thank you for healing me Yukia chan though I didn't know you could heal"

"You don't blame me for Debalo trying to kill you?" Yukia asked unsurely her upper lip biting down on her lower lip nervously. Naruto swallows a mouth full of ramen his blue eyes going to look over at her. Really that's what was bothering her? She was blaming herself for him getting hurt. Sending her a grateful smile as he shakes his head.

"No, I don't blame you, it wasn't your fault I left my self-open to an attack" He says smartly, a ramen noodle sticking half way out of his mouth causes Yukia to chuckle suddenly. Somehow feeling amused

"What" Naruto questions his eyes looking down to try and see what she was quacking at.

"NARUTO" a female voice yells furiously, Naruto swallows hard and turns around in his seat only to end up getting punched in the jaw by one of Sakura's powerful chakra filled punches, Naruto him falls from his seat, a dizzy look in his eyes.

"You were supposed to tell me when you left the hospital you idiot" She growls pulling the blonde up to her face tear drops coming from the boy's eyes as she continued to scowl him.

A sweet drop forms on the side of Yukia's head, she had never seen the Pinkett so angry before

"But Sakura chan I feel fine" Naruto pouts once Sakura finally releases him her hands on her hips, as animated tears roll down his checks, with his hand rubbing at his head. "Yukia-chans healing is great"

"Well you still should have told me, you jerk" She growls anger clear in her voice

"Yukia-chan" Yukia question with a small tilt of her hand he'd been calling her that a lot lately and she honestly wasn't sure what it meant.

"It means friend" Sakura explains the anger falling from her voice when her mint green eyes turn to look at Yukia.

"Sorry, he snuck out of the hospital again" The Pinkett explains. Naruto stood up still rubbing his check "anyways Kakashi is waiting on us to meet up with him" She says her green eyes shifting back to Naruto,

Grabbing the collar of his shirt Sakura starts to pull Naruto behind her a few more tears streaming down his checks.

"But Sakura my ramen" He whines as he tries desperately to get away from her. His arms flailing infront of him.

Yukia watches as both young ninjas vanish into a huge crowd of people a few more sweat beads forming on the side of her head. As she lets out a low chuckle.

Yukia decides to keep on her walk wanting to be to herself for now. She go back to the hotel room later.

"It's going to rain" she mumbles randomly
