They clashed again, their swords a blur of steel and light. Nyssa executed a set of quick, deceptive feints, her blade flickering like a serpent's tongue. Zach parried each strike with mechanical rigor, but Nyssa was ruthless.
She spun around him, her sword lashing out in a wide arc. Zach blocked the strike, but Nyssa was already moving, her saber cutting through the air in a rapid sequence of thrusts and slashes.
Both had lost around the same number of HP, standing at 70%. The trainer's HP was adjusted to be the same as its opponent, apparently, since it'd be too much of a coincidence otherwise.
Zach's defense began to falter under the onslaught, his movements becoming more desperate. Sensing victory, Nyssa pressed the attack, her blade striking ever so unpredictably.
