Chapter Six

His Pov:

I stared at Natalie as she smiled sheepishly. Isn't she so stupid?

" I love you Rio " she said.

" You know I'll never stop doing that " I said. Nat smiled and kissed me slightly on the lips. I kissed her back and we went on that way till we heard someone cough. I looked towards the direction of the sound to see Anny sitting directly opposite us. She had this look on her face that clearly said, ' stop lying '.I smirked and made a mental note to talk to her later. Natalie was now glaring at Anny. She turned to me still with that angry look.

" Rio, do you also have something to do with her? "

" I don't Naty, I swear I don't "

She crossed her arms, still staring at me.

" And how bout Amy? "

" Nat, Amy's brother is a computer freak,I just want his help with my laptop issues. That'll be easier if he knows that his sister and I are more like a thing. I told you babe, it's just you" I said, all lies.

I could still see Anny staring at me, she had a crazy smirk on her face and I couldn't help but smile. Damn, isn't she beautiful!!

" And you'll never leave me for them?"

" I'll never leave you baby "

Natalie smiled and side hugged me. Anny's expression clearly showed that she wanted to laugh but she didn't. She's probably feeling my lines. I'd have to come up with better ones to make her smile tho. I'm so in for that.

A message came into my phone, from Amy.

_ Baby, can we meet at the garden? I'm there already. _ it read.

_ I'll be there soon Cupcake _ I sent back.

" Natalie I gotta go. I've got something to finish up with my guys " I lied.

" Can I come with you? " Natalie asked.

Bitch!

" Nope, you read your books, okay?"

" Sure! I love you baby "

" Yeah, same here " I said , my attention now on Anny. She was also staring at me, still with that crazy smirk. As I made my way out, I made sure Nat wasn't looking and I winked at her. She gave me one of the most beautiful smiles I've ever seen and I swear, my heart skipped a beat. Damn! What an angel!

Amy was already at the garden, sitted waiting for me with a solemn look on her face. She's probably just heard another true rumour about me and other girls, time to fill her head with lies, as usual.

I said nothing, just went up to her, pulled her up and kissed her. She said nothing too, just kissed me back with even more passion than that I'll ever have for her.

Don't blame me, this shit runs in me.

Her Pov:

I watched Natalie smile as Rio left the library. I wished I could tell her that she was being played. Well even if I did, she'd not believe me anyway so there's nothing I can do.

" Isn't he sweet?" she muttered to herself,loud enough for me to hear though. Sweet indeed!

I walked out of the library remembering that I was to meet Toria's friends.On my way, I sighted Rio in the garden with Amy leaned across his chest. Damn dude! Filled with so much lies, I wish Natalie can see this then she'll know how sweet he is indeed.

I walked in but stayed a little bit far so he wouldn't notice I was stalking him.

" Amy what's wrong?" Rio asked

" Rio I'm bothered. Bitches be asking me to stay away from you"

" Who exactly?"

" Evelyn "

" What did she say?"

" She said I should stay away from you that you are hers. I told her right in the face that she was dreaming and that no fucking bitch could take you away from me "

Jeez! What a girl!!!

" She said I was crazy and I don't deny it baby, I'll go crazier if they try to snatch you away from me "

Rio smiled and I rolled my eyes.

" Don't listen to them honey. They're all liars and all they want to do is separate us but you know no one can replace you"

" I know sweetie "

" Good, so don't mind them. Ignore them as much as you can. They're just crazy"

Amy smiled widely.

" I love you " she said

" Same here baby "

" I was just scared, I don't want to lose you to any bitch "

" Don't be! I'm all yours Amy "

" Are you sure? "

" Definitely. With the love I have for you, we'll need God to separate us"

Amy smiled, blushing. Gosh! Isn't he such a player? And damn! he knows how to use words. These girls too, aren't they all fools? I think they are.

Rio's phone beeped and he replied the message immediately.

" Who was that?" Amy asked.

" Mrs. Jacob, she needs me in her office"

" Okay, I'll stay here"

" Alright then. See you around love" he said,pecked her forehead and walked out. I watched him leave from where I stood and then I followed him.

" Hey!" I said from behind him. He turned and smiled when he saw me. I must admit, he has got a cute smile.

" Hey beautiful"

" You heading to see another girl?"

" Maybe I've already seen her " he said walking closer to me with a flirtatious smile on his lips.

" It's only two of us here and all your girlfriends are, should I say dumb? I'm not " I said and he smirked.

" You are beautiful" he said

" I know" I said and he smiled again.

" Playing hard to get,I see"

" You really think you can get me? "

" What makes you think I can't?"

" I don't think,I know you can't. It's almost impossible for me to fall for you"

" Almost! I'm gonna break the record"

" Well good luck with that. You'll probably make it in your dreams "

He chuckled.

" Well let's see to that Miss"

" Whatever!" I said and was about walking out when he held my hand and drew me back . We were so close at that moment,so close I could feel his breath on my face.

" Even if it takes a lifetime,I'm gonna get you "

" Well prepare to keep trying in your grave" He smiled

" Your courage throws me off balance and also boosts mine"

I chuckled.

" Just keep in mind that I'll never fall for you"

" Let me have a say in that before you do "

I rolled my eyes,pushed him off and walked out. I could feel him staring at me as I walked away. Dude is really getting on my nerves.

I bumped into someone as I was going. It was Sal.

" Heartbeat,I've been searching for you" Sal said

" Heartbeat?" I said furrowing my brows.

" Yeah, it's a nice pet name, isn't it?"

" It's too intimate "

" You're meant to love it"

" Do I?"

He wore a sad look and I rolled my eyes, playfully shoving him on the shoulder.

" I'm kidding " I said and he smiled. " You were searching for me?" I added.

" Yeah cause I missed you" he said,his deep blue eyes locked on mine. I felt my breath hitch and I managed to say,

" Re... really?" I stammered. Wait! Did I just stammer in front of a guy? What the...?

" Yep and I just realized that I'll miss you more "

" Why?"

" Cause... I talked to my aunt and... I'm leaving "

" Leaving? The school?"

" Yeah "

" But..." I began but stopped,my expression changing.

" We could meet at home" Sal said

" Yeah"

" But I'm still gonna miss you"

I tried to smile and just rolled my eyes.

" Stop flirting with me"

" I'm not flirting hun but if you want me to then I will. Anything to take that look off my princess's face "

" Sal!!!" I said realizing that I was blushing. God! What's this dude doing to me???

" What???" he said and I just rolled my eyes.

" Hey! Don't get mad now" he said and I rolled my eyes again.

" Leave me alone "I said sulking.

" I'm leaving so you shouldn't be angry with me"

" I'm not angry. I'm just gonna miss you" I said before I could stop myself.

" I know" Sal said. Before I knew what was happening, he drew me to himself and kissed me. I felt my body go numb.What the...? He kissed me.

He didn't stay after the kiss, he simply winked at me and walked out. I didn't see him again throughout the rest of the day and I'm grateful for that cause I don't know how I would have managed to be around him again after that very awkward moment.

" You okay?" someone asked behind me. It was Toria. She was with her friends.

" I'm fine"

" Heard your crush is leaving. Sorry 'bout that. We know you really liked him" Nancy said.

" My crush?" I asked surprised. Do they really think I like Sal. Jeez! the guy just kissed me, I couldn't have stopped it.

" It's not only you Anny. Almost all the girls liked him,the pressure on him was practically too much."Eureka said

" But damn,that guy's handsome. He's clearly Rio's competition" that was Elena.

" If only girls here could have got themselves under control then..."

" Okay that's enough" I said cutting Isabella off. " He's gone now,let it go"

They shrugged and we all walked to class. While in class,I kept looking at Sal's seat and not seeing him there weighed me down like fuck. I really don't know why but this shit is really not going well for me. Why the hell is he still on my mind? The fact that I won't see Sal sitted beside me anymore and he won't be here to make me smile anymore makes me wanna cry. What is wrong with me? Annalita,this isn't you. What is going on. I tried focusing but I couldn't. Dear Lord, help me!!! This is greatly fucked up...
