Chapter 9 (2/2): Unpredicted Abandonment

"Just hide Vella better, Dominic. Don't you ever let me see her because if you did, you too will vanish. Don't try me!"

After Madge let out that line she left, it's obvious from her clicking heels to fade away. 

I don't know what's wrong with her, I didn't do anything bad that can cause her to despise me. Maybe it is because of the back that I can't dress well like she did? Or there's a deep reason for it? Of course, there must be a reason for  it, there should be, because what she's been doing to me is unacceptable until further acceptable reason.

I'm just wishing that fate would let me have the chance to get rid of this life.

"Vella..." 

My head snapped on the open door where Dominic is. He was standing there, and stared at me with admiration and longing eyes.

 I know that, I recognize his emotion.

It seems like the Dominic I knew back and gone the ruthless and abusive one. I see, he's not taking drugs at all? Or just stop injecting himself this day?
