Chapter 27: Found and Insane

"Pardon, who?" I got up on my seat because I was anticipating an answer from him. 

His sister? Who's his sister? Does that mean that he's also part of kidnapping my son? But if that is so, how come? He looked worried when I saw him and clearly didn't have an idea on what's happening to me. 

"My sister." I closed my eyes and massaged my temple a little bit. I'm waiting for him to answer me in explanation for me to fully understand what he's saying but yeah, a man of few words.

"I didn't know. Please tell me more, I can't understand." 

His jaw clenched for a while before explaining. "Brigitte is my sister, Vella. We're not really together. She's not my girlfriend because we are siblings, well, not by blood."

I eyed him curiously. "What do you mean?"

"Her family adopted me when my own family chose to abandon a son like me. I'm so thankful for her and her family because they are the reason why I'm standing right now."
