chapter - 16 white orchid.!

Continue from the last chapter -

After the long separation of 800 years they finally met . Only gui xiang knows how he lived in the past 800 years without his sho yu . But because Ahn yun's forgot his past life memories he don't remember gui xiang . But he help gui xiang by letting him stay with him in his home because it was night. They sleep in same bad when the strom and lightning scare Ahn yun , gui xiang comfort him . Ahn yun tell him what happened to his parents . After waking up gui xiang was looking at Ahn yun lovingly who was sleeping . Ahn yun woke up and notice gui xiang looking at him.

Now continue from chapter 6 -

Gui xiang - " what i am doing , restrain yourself a bit gui . Or you will end up losing him again. But i don't understand why he is not returning to his body , yun yun said he is already 20 .

Ahn yun from outside -

Ahn yun - " gui xiang , you may take  bath I'll be Making breakfast in backyard."

Gui xiang - " let me help you ."

Ahn yun - " you know how to cook???"

( Gui xiang With a gentle smile on his face.)

Gui xiang - " and why Ahn yun thinks I can't."

Ahn yun - " it's nothing..so you can wash the rice right , I need to prepare medicine for villagers."

Gui xiang - " i think it's not good idea."

Ahn yun- " it's absolutely a good idea, do you want to say it's not???"

Gui xiang hold his both shoulders and gently take him out of the kitchen , Ahn yun almost panicked but controls himself from yelling , gui xiang turn him in a position Ahn yun facing gui xiang . But due to gui xiang's hight Ahn yun only able to look his chest if he don't raise his head and in this situation Ahn yun decided to not to look at him.

Gui xiang - " it's good no it's excellent idea , go on work on medicine . "

Ahn yun - " okay tell me when you are done washing them ."

Gui xiang - " okay."

Gui xiang wash the rice . Umm.. we can not say that gui xiang wash because he actually broke the rice.

Gui xiang - " look , How do they look , clean right?"

Ahn yun - " clean ???.... Yes they look but , now they can only be used for porridge . "

Ann yun's inner thought-  who said you to use much force than needed , did you took rice as enemies .

Gui xiang - " porridge taste's good too ."

Ahn yun - " okay , come out let me Cook porridge ."

Gui xiang - " you have work , should i help you??"

Ahn yun - " no , some Herb's smell is really bitter and strong , you might faint."

And he walk inside the kitchen with his half face covered with a veil . Only his golden eyes can be seen , gui xiang stared at him in a daze but Ahn yun ignored that and walk towards him. To control himself from doing anything to Ahn yun . Gui xiang stop Ahn yun and said .

Gui xiang - " let me Cook porridge , you may continue with your medicine."

Ahn yun - " should i ? Really , ?"

Gui xiang - " yes "

Ahn yun - " these medicines are really important , i guess I'll be troubling gui xiang ."

Gui xiang - " not at all "

Ahn yun - " then i am going."

After Ahn yun left gui xiang work to start fire but for his surprise fire when he make always come with black smoke . Not long after he make fire kitchen was filled with black smoke , when Ahn yun looked up and saw his kitchen leaking black smoke he run to the kitchen.

Inside kitchen our poor war God was fanning the black smoke out , leaving the porridge to burn. Ahn yun picked up porridge pan from fire and hold gui xiang's wrist and -

Ahn yun - " gui xiang loose your hand a bit "

Gui xiang - " hmm "

Ahn yun fanning slowly but much smoke flew out of kitchen then he let go gui xiang's hand and said -

Ahn yun - " fan like this okay?"

Gui xiang - " okay "

Ahn yun - " gui xiang..., Why there is no vegetables in porridge???"

Gui xiang actually did know some things about what things people use to cook . He has already cut vegetables. He show a plate to Ahn yun that was behind him .

Gui xiang - " look "

Ahn yun shock for a moment then come to sense and said -

Ahn yun - " Ah.. so you have already kill..cut vegetables , good."

Inner thought - what, is this what you said cut!!!man that's obviously killing , my poor vegetables got killed ruthlessly. Ah..they are big in shape.

Gui xiang smiled Ahn yun thought he smiled because of he said good to him but just calling good by a man wouldn't make one smile , well who said that one need reason to smile so he let it be.

Gui xiang - " you can go back , i will soon finish cooking this ."

Ahn yun - " okay. "

And again Ahn yun walk out the kitchen and focus on medicines .

After 10 minutes gui xiang came to him , with a dull a bit cold and self doubt but still intensely handsome face.

Gui xiang - " porridge is ready "

Ahn yun - " okay let's go eat , i am starving."

They walk inside kitchen . Ahn yun took bowls and water, gui xiang hold the porridge pan and they walk to the hall where they ate yesterday. Ahn yun serve porridge in bowls and push it to gui xiang . Gui xiang was hesitating to eat it , but Ahn yun who has mouse jumping in his stomach because of hunger took a mouthful . Not long after that he started coughing porridge was way too spicy! gui xiang take a cup of water and raise his hand to give it Ahn yun , gui xiang came next to him without thinking Ahn Yun hold gui xiang's hand and drink water gui xiang was stroking his back gently . He gulp down two cup water . His golden eyes were red somehow.

Gui xiang - " i am sorry Ahn yun , let me be honest , i was told from someone to never cook anything again because that was terrible."

Ahn yun wanted to ask who is that someone , what he / she is to you . They even say him to never cook and he did means that it must be someone special . I just can't ask him directly . Shut your mind Ahn yun , will you , what it has to do with me if he have someone special or not .

Ahn yun - " it's fine , we can't wat this  . I am going to cook something you wait okay."

Gui xiang - " okay."

Inside kitchen Ahn yun was cooking noodles almost complete , he is so fast in cooking and skilled whatever he cooks . Delicious and well served. Just when he was about to pick the noodles  vessel from fire , because his mind was distracted it got burn ! His white jade wrist , the burn was big enough to cover his wrist . His mouth escaped a ahhh . But because from the start his voice is low it didn't reached gui xiang .

Ahn yun hide the mark by his sleeve and take noodles with him and serve it to gui xiang . After eating Ahn yun was taking dishes to wash them but gui xiang stop him.

Gui xiang - " wait , let me wash them."

Ahn yun's wrist was already burn if it come in contact of water it might get worse. So this Time he let gui xiang do that.

Just when he was handing over gui xiang his bowl his sleeve back away and his burn apper and gui xiang's eyes widened and he rush to come Ahn yun's side he touched his hand gently. So gentle that it didn't hurt him . He was looking at the burn . His expression were not hard to tell , he looked in pain but wasn't the one who got hurt is Ahn yun . Ann yun was confused by gui xiang's look. He tried to pull his hand lightly but gui xiang didn't let him.

Ahn yun - " it's fine , it's nothing . Don't worry ."

Gui xiang - " Ahn yun , is there any medicine to apply in burn ??"

Ahn yun - " yes ,in my bedroom ."

Gui xiang - " okay "

Ahn yun thought gui xiang will let his hand go now , but gui xiang pick up Ahn yun in his arms and walk to the room. Ahn yun dumbfounded looked at gui xiang and said -

Ahn yun - " i am fine , it's only a little burn in my hand i can walk by myself....

Gui xiang looked at Ahn yun , Ahn yun don't know for what reason stop saying anything. Gui xiang gently place Ahn yun on bed and walk where the medicines were

Gui xiang - " which one??"

Ahn yun - " the red one ."

Gui xiang pick the little wooden box painted in red color . Open it and a yellow power show up. Gui xiang tried to apply it as gentle he can but the power still caused suffering . Even in his past life he has the power to heal others but his body if he gets hurt it was hard to heal soon . Ahn yun in this life too have a poor body . Gui xiang know this he was a bit angry that how can he let himself get burned.

Gui xiang - " is it hurting so much??"

Ahn yun - " it's alright , i am fine."

(Gui xiang mumbled )

Gui xiang - " our little Ahn yun is brave ."

Ahn yun - " what you said??"

Gui xiang - " nothing not a single word."

Ahn yun - " hmm "

Gui xiang - " Ahn you in my opinion , you should drop your plan to visit village. "

Ahn yun - " no , it can't be delayed gui xiang there are many people waiting for medicines , I need to go."

Gui xiang - " then I'll go with you , and carry your medicine box ."

Ahn yun - " okay if you say so. But before that let me bathe."

And Ahn yun just recalled the brun in his hand and went speechless . Gui xiang noticed it and said -

Gui xiang - " as a doctor you know that burn should not come in contact of water , let me help you ."

Ahn yun - " how can i ask from gui xiang for such a big favor."

Gui xiang - " not as big as letting a stranger stay in your home."

Ahn yun smiled slightly gui xiang smiled as well , Ahn yun felt a bit good because after seeing that burn gui xiang's expression were hard to tell . Now that he smiled the atmosphere cooled down . But Ahn yun was a bit bashful to let gui xiang help him in bathe. But he can't act like a girl so he do not think any further and nodded as an consent.

They entered the bathroom , Ahn yun already prepared himself to not to act like a maiden so he slowly remove his robes . Just then gui xiang turned and said -

Gui xiang - " Ahn yun , you should just sit i will down water , is it okay ??"

Ahn yun felt much better and smiled but gui xiang who was showing him his back wasn't able to see his smile and Ahn yun said-

Ahn yun - " yes "

Although he said only one word happiness can be notify in his tone , gui xiang smiled as well , he was happy because Ahn yun was not very open type he wants Ahn yun to open up only to him and for now Ahn yun being hesitant didn't made him angry or whatever at all . And for him to down water on Ahn yun wasn't big deal he correctly fall down water on Ahn yun without letting a single drop of water touch Ahn Yun's burn. After Ahn yun was done he get up to leave .

Gui xiang - " dress carefully Ahn yun ."

Ahn yun - " yes "

After stepping out of bathroom he closed the gate and said from outside.

Ahn yun - " thankyou gui xiang ."

After saying this Ahn yun flew away as fast he can . Gui xiang smiled at his cute shy lover.

Ahn yun went to his room he was red as red plum blossoms. He wore his orange robes . Looking as bright as the rising sun itself because of his burned wrist it took long to get dressed gui xiang was already out of bathroom when Ahn yun step out of room his head bump on gui xiang's undressed chest . His legs retreating and his and ankle shift causing his whole body shaking and unbalanced before he fall gui xiang uplift his hand and grab Ahn yun's slender waist in this position he himself lean a bit that his black and shiny wet hair come in front of his face , he looked enormously tempting. He balanced Ahn yun .

Gui xiang - " be careful."

Ahn yun - " yes " and he nodded as a obedient kid.

Gui xiang enter in room and without looking back start dressing himself . After dressing he walk out and went to Ahn yun who was in backyard . Ahn yun was watering the flowers he grew. Graceful garlic¹ , magnolia , yuānwêi huā² , mùlán huā³ , xūnyīcâv⁴, mûdān huā★ . His garden was small but exquisitely beautiful . In the lovely garth the mûdān huā attracted gui xiang's all attention. It has deep meaningful memory with Ahn yun and him in Ahn yun's past life. But there was no orchid gui xiang felt a bit disappointed. But he understands it well that in this life Ahn yun has no memory of his orchid lover. Ahn yun was having difficulty to water flowers from one hand gui xiang walked to him and take the wooden bucket .

Gui xiang - " just stand here , let me water them."

Ahn yun - " gui xiang are you , why are you helping me so much??"

Gui xiang - " the burn , it was because  i didn't cooked porridge well , you needed to re Cook and your hand get burned."

Ahn yun's inner thought - so this is just because of regret and guilty , ahh why i am feeling disappointed. What is wrong with you Ahn yun.

Ahn yun - " you don't need to regret it was my carelessness. Ah..no more need to water them."

Gui xiang - " okay "

Ahn yun - " there is one flower left , follow me please."

Gui xiang - " lead "

Ahn yun walked out of home and go in back of home. What gui xiang saw made him smile and feeling warm and delighted. There was circle shaped boundary and inside it , there was a white orchid was planted . It was bloomed beautifully , a sigh showing that it was taken very good care . Gui xiang's happiness can be seen in his eyes and face . Even the war God can not control his own expression after seeing that even if his lover won't remember him , forgot all memories he still has a place for white orchid in his heart . Unknown of his feelings Ahn yun who was looking at him thought - could it be that gui xiang's favorite flower is white orchid ? In this days i have never seen him this happy before.

Ahn yun - " gui xiang , is white orchid is your favorite flower.?"

Gui xiang said while watering the flower.

Gui xiang - " it's favorite flower of someone who was precious to me."

After hearing this Ahn yun don't know why he felt a bit sad , a bit tightness in his chest . Overcoming the disappointment he said .

Ahn yun - " what a coincidence , it's my favorite flower too."

And in his heart - " but i am not the one who is precious to you. And for what reason i feel disappointed , just what is wrong with my heart.

With a forced smile he looked at gui xiang , gui xiang still hold a happy expression .

Gui xiang - " you are so like them."

A/n - them is used for Ahn yun but because he don't want to Ahn yun to know he said them.

Ahn yun - " what..me.. you must be joking gui xiang how can someone like you like someone who was like me."

Gui xiang - " you shouldn't look down on yourself."

Ahn yun - " okay okay , let's go it will be dark if we will late ."

Gui xiang - " correct "

And gui xiang hold Ahn yun's medicine box and they head to the village .
