Chapter 12: Honey & Percy

Jenny and Tita Karie are cooking lunch while waiting, Honey, Percy, and Sandy are playing badminton. Honey was the one who thought to play because she was so bored. The problem is, Jenny didn't want to play so she went to Percy, asked him to play, and so was the kid.

"Hey Percival! Do this right, okay? It's even not windy! " Honey screamed because they were teaching Sandy how to play badminton but he didn't seem to be in the mood.

"Yes, Tito! You're weak! " Sandy replied that the young man was shocked. They even hi-5.

"Hey, Honey! You're teaching my niece such nonsense!" Percy cheered and pat Honey's head.

"Are you kidding me? You really are weak!"

"Why, are you challenging me?"

"Are you retaliating?!"

"Yes! Why?!"

"WEAK!"

"Ugly!"

"What– coward!"

"Cheater! Masochist!"

"Torpedo!" (Torpe: means he's shy or coward to admit his feelings)

"Masochist!"

Jenny just shook her head towards the two. They're about to pass their age in the calendar yet, they're arguing like children.

"Aunt Jenny. Make them peace, please… "Sandy pulled her clothes down.

"They will soon."

"But, I don't want them to fight. Please?"

"But, what should I do?"

"Like this..." and whispered to her the plan.

Several times Percy hit his head on his working table. Why did he even agreed on Honey's plan? He doesn't even hot tempered. It's Cody! He's going crazy!

I was surprised to someone who suddenly message me on Facebook. I thought of Jenny and I was still ashamed of what I said last night. Luckily, she wasn't.

Honey: Hey, Percival!

This woman is so persistent, told her it's Percy but she goes straight to Percival!

Percy: It's Percy!

Honey: Who cares? Hahahaha! You might thought, you are Percy–

Percy: That's my name, of course it's me!

Honey: -yus!

Percy: What's your trip?

Honey: Want some trade?

In a few months we knew each other, Honey likes trades and riddles. And it's crazy when she's in the mood, she really wants to do anything of those two.

Percy: What?

Honey: Feelings! Hahaha!

Percy: Tsk.

Honey: Hey, I'm serious.

Percy: I don't like yours!

Honey: Hey. I see you as a brother, okay? It's Jenny's!

Percy: Terms of conditions?

Honey: That's–! Just treat me. Hehehe.

She will go into these and the worst? That's always her terms was. I will treat her.

Percy: Of?

Honey: I saw a new open resort in Quezon Province. Uhm, just for 2 days? For two people. Hehe.

Percy: It's far from here, how did you even know it?

Honey: Duh, internet!

Percy: Who's your date?

Honey: My nephew. Hehe.

And this is another one. She rarely asks for a favor that she can only benefitted.

Percy: Is that what I'm paying for not enough?

Honey: No. What I mean, I am saving that for future emergency. Well, I can transact with you. Hahahahaha!

Percy: Spill.

Honey: Go home early today. Don't come in tomorrow. You know his ex feels sorry.

Percy: The F! What is her answer?

Honey: I don't know yet. Ask her. Then, make a move right away!

Percy: Are you really a girl?

Honey: Oh, yes. Hahaha!

Percy: Then?

Honey: I'll go into details tomorrow. All right, and Tita asks to fetch Sandy. Ciao! Take care!

And she went off the line before I could even reply.

I did this transaction, but I ended up dumbfounded.

"I'M GOING CRAAAAAZY!" Percy couldn't help but shout for what could happen. Even Honey was involved. And what did Sandy say to him?

"Your Tito is planning to date Jenny and he doesn't want us to be there."

Really! Even Sandy, learned her antics.

But is he really weak?

He's not, right?

"Problem?" Percy was startled by the papers that had popped up his face.

"Cody!"

"Are you in trouble?" He didn't know and he embraced his suddenly. "Don't hug me! Here's what you ask for. I'm done."

"That's not my problem." He complained.

"Then, what?" It is a question but his voice is not interested.

"You should court Honey then she's busy with someone not with me!" Cody was startled by what he said and suddenly hit him.

Honey had already hit Percy just to see if Jenny had any concerns for him, but none!

Salty!

None!

"In everything you say, choose a good word!"

"But, Cody! I don't know if she was helping me or she was just going tabs on me. Feel sorry for me, please. We're friends, right?"

"Tsk. I won't do that."

"It's up to you. It looks like Kuya Jonas is getting close to Honey. " He said suddenly that made Cody stopped.

"How can you be sure?"

"Honey tells me. She wondered at your uncle's motive so she asked for my opinion. " He shrugged and took the papers in front of him. "All right, thank you for this."

Cody was left alone in Percy's office. Why doesn't he know?! The girl could ask him.

He chases after Percy and asks what time he'll go. Percy said early and they're going to do what Honey had planned.

"Did you get it?" Honey asked Percy who was already shaking in the cold. It wasn't long that he's wet all over. Why is he even so wet?

Their first plan is to pretend to that they're on war and Jenny's hostility will reconcile them. Honey will make the condition that she will reconcile if the two started dating. The problem is, before Jenny talk to her, she find them laughing because of the drama they're watching. As a result, there was no courting, or date.

Meanwhile, Honey involved Tita Karie to leave the house. No, more on bribes. Sandy refused to agree but because Honey begged, she said yes.

What they're doing right now is Plan B. It was only five o'clock in the afternoon and she made sure that only two of them would be left in the house. She'll follow Tita Karie at a festival in another town with the elder's cousin.

The plan is that Percy should get sick and Jenny's taking care of him. Since their epic failed plan A, he asked Percy to do this, who did not refused.

"Oh… yes, honey." He said while shaking. He already took a bath and changed into new clothes. She place hee hand in his forehead and seemed effective those days of soaking.

Honey couldn't help but worry about him. Just for Jenny to notice him, he allowed her antics. Often, she forgets about this plan, but he is still a reminding her.

"All right. Just call when you have a problem or, even just text. Just choose the templates on your cp. " She reminds him. Jenny's coming and she must be gone.

"Okay." Percy's voice was weak.

Honey calmed herself down. No more plan C, Percy. My conscience eats me up!

"She's coming. Go to bed first. " She patted his shoulder and supported him to lay down. They are in the living room.

"Take care." He said it again and smiled. She just smiled before finally leaving.

Jenny had just arrived and she saw the door of the main house was slightly open and someone's coughing. She slowly peeked in and it might be a trespasser. Jenny was shocked to see who was coughing.

Merciful God!

It's Percy!

Percy was wrapped in a blanket though he's wearing a sweater. He also doesn't seem to notice her because it's busy coughing and he really feels awful.

Jenny opened the door carefully and entered. She slowly caressing its back. Eventually it calmed down. "Why are you alone?" Because except outside of the house, this living room is the only one with lights on.

"They went to the festival with Tito Ato." Though his voice is hoarse, he still managed to speak directly. Jenny looked at him pitifully.

"Why did they leave you?"

"I... It's my choice. And it Tito's birthday."

"Go to your room."

"My foot is swollen. I'm going to fetch some hot water but, I was dizzy and made a mistake and got hit in the kitchen. I… I just crawl to get here." And he coughed harder again. Jenny rubbed his back again.

Jenny is annoyed and irritated because they really do first to enjoy than take care of and watch the sick! She went to the kitchen and picked up the small basin and thermos. She took it to Percy's room and prepared there. Then she returned to the living room and supported him.

"You can?" He just nodded. His throat was really sore and he might cough on the Jenny's face. It's embarrassing.

Jenny placed the boy's large arm on her shoulder. And held on to the waist behind it to support. His left foot swollen.

Percy was about to lie down on the bed after Jenny supported him and said he would just sit down. Jenny approached the cabinet where Percy's clothes are and get a sando that he could easily wear. He immediately obeyed when Jenny handed him his clothes.

Jenny approached the small basin with warm water. The towel was dipped and then squeezed. Slowly wiping his face. "What happened and you got sick?" She asked as their faces were as long as the match stick.

"W-Well, Honey and I went to Bicol and ... and it rained on while we were traveling." Percy couldn't help but stutter ar the distance between them. Just a little flutter and he can claim her lips.

He turned his gaze away so that his mind would not be able to come up with any suggestions. Subconsciously, he suddenly hears Honey's voice and says, "Grab the opportunity, Percival!"

"How did you get wet? You have a car, right?" Percy didn't prepare for Jenny's inquiry. Why is it that he even asked for honey for his reasoning!

"Ah .. what .. broken again. Hehe. I'm going to sleep, Jenny. I feel dizzy." He didn't wait for her to answer and lay down. He made sure he turned his back on her position so she would stop asking him.

Jenny would still like to ask questions but maybe the young man really feels worse. "All right. Call me if you need anything." She reminded before finally leaving his room.

Jenny picked up her cellphone and called Honey. But she was frustrated because she's out of coverage. She also called Tita Karie, but like Honey's cellphone, it's out of coverage too!

"What are they even doing?" She exclaimed.

It was late at night when Jenny heard a loud crash inside Percy's room. She hurried to his room upstairs. And suddenly opened the door. "What's wrong?!" She asked panting. He was lying on the floor.

Percy bite his lips when he looked at Jenny and sighed. "I've tried to walk but, I cannot, yet." He explained.

"And why did you even try? It's still swollen."

"I'm... Needed to do release water, you know." Percy blushes admitting the truth. Just going to the bathroom, to ask her?

It's not a good idea!

Jenny smiled and slowly supported him up. "Just take it to the bathroom's door. As if I were going to watch you urinating."

"But..."

"Come on." She took him to the bathroom and left. She also ordered him to call her when he was done.

They are now together in the room. The door is open and its light are on. Percy leaned against the headrest of the bed and Jenny sat at the end massaging his foot. "Tell me if it hurts, hmm."

"Yes. Ah, Jenny?"

"Hmm?" The girl replied that she had not even looked back.

"If someone going to court you, will you allow it?" He turned his eyes to the right side of the room where the window was. He does not want to see her reaction in case her answer is no.

"It depends. Why? You're going to court someone?" She answer back laughing to Percy. Their eyes lock into each other.

"Yes."

Jenny's smile faded away and she stopped massaging his foot.

"Oh my! If you are going to ask for courting Honey, you can say— "

"Actually, I'm asking her for help just get closer to you. "

"Serious? Is seems like that you have a relationship already! "

"You could ask her. We think of each other as siblings. You can look at her phone book. Twin is the name recorded in my number."

Jenny paused and remember the moment she borrowed Honey's cellphone and to call. There was a name Twin saved there. When she asked her, she said it's her future brother-in-law.

"Impossible! It's her future brother-in-law! So, probably! That's her sister's boyfriend!" He presses. Why does it seem like there is a part of her brain that she should contradict everything he says?

"Doesn't she think of you, Jenny?"

And he didn't respond.

Honey always says that they are siblings even when they are from different families. Whoever hinders their friendship, they will be going fight them.

"I'm going to sleep. You too, goodnight." Jenny said before finally going out and closing the door of the room.

She place her by the chest and leaned against the wall. She left the door and he might thought she was still there.

She couldn't understand why it was painful. Why, she is restraining herself.

She told Honey was wrong.

Percy had an impact on her.

There's a somewhat force of fear that she's afraid of catching.

Her issues with Mark is not over yet and there's this.

She does not want everything to go wrong, yet confused.

Especially hurting someone, while her heart was still in pain.
