'ALL IT TAKES IS SLIT WRISTS, THEN THERE'S NO WAY OUT' Roseline hates what has become of herself. Dumped by her boyfriend. Divorcing parents. Bullied in her school. Overshadowed by her siblings. Terrible grades. All which translated into an uncertain, gloomy future. She wants out, and she thinks she gets it when she realizes that the blood running through her veins is all that links her to the cruel world. She slits her wrists and all that follows makes her realize that this wasn't the out she was looking for. She's petrified when she realizes that she isn't really dead (at least not spiritually, as she likes to think) and is watching the consequences of her action unfold in front of her. Masks fall and awful secrets are revealed, with more lives at stake as Roseline fights her way through, asking herself the same question 'every day'- Will I find a way out out of my way out? 16.2: Dizzy Hearts

I catch myself wondering about things beyond the human's mental capacity. Things like the expanding universe, the insides of a black hole, the ability of red, blue and yellow giving us the sensation of white and the words spilling out from my ex-best friend's lips.

Joshua has stopped dry heaving to stare at her as Tobias pushes away an excited Benji while gently whispering 'not now' to him. Sierra, however, seems glad to have taken the stage again and is openly staring at Joshua, awaiting a response.

He doesn't give her any as his stare lingers at her almost infinitely.

"Say something!" She suddenly demands and almost everyone jumps back to life after the deathly silent moment we all had.

"You stalked me," Joshua asks/states.

Sierra vehemently shakes her head. "No," she says as if his accusation is stupid. "I love you. I didn't ′stalk′ you."

Joshua's nostrils flare. "You don't call that stalking?!" He shouts. "You know things I never told Roseline about!"
