Learning Their Powers: Part 2

Off in another realm of creation, the twin gods of Wind and Water had been moving through their own realm they had just been created. Apphasis, God of Water, found himself in the center of this new realm. A realm of nothing but Air and Water. While Apphasis was at the center, Aspherus, God of Wind, seemed to be enveloping the realm, his presence could be felt anywhere there was no water.

Apphasis innately understood his ability to control the water in his surroundings. As when he moved his hands, the water around him would flow with his fingertips, as if it was yearning to surrender itself to his will. The water would move in the easiest way and path it could to bend to Apphasis' command.

Aspherus also innately understood his ability to control the air in his surroundings. As when he too moved his etherial-like body, the wind and air seemed to be giving his body form. The wind bowed to his will, as he breathed, tornados would be exhaled from his breath. Gale winds flowed with his movement.

The twins felt at peace in their areas of the newly created primordial plain. Though, as they were discovering their powers gifted to them from Lord of All and Shephard of Souls, they found themselves content to command their powers in ways to function together. The two sought to try and combine their strengths.

The combination of wind and water was slow in their eyes, even though if it were seen to a human, it was faster than one could even realize they had just blinked.

The resulting combination produced a magnificent hurricane, one that was at the pinnacle of defying both the rules of water and wind.

The hurricane became immortalized in the center of the world, after the hurricane had started it fed off the power emanating from the Apphasis and Aspherus. The hurricane was growing larger, absorbing more and more of the surrounding air and the water from the plain below it.

This hurricane was so large it would shred through the tornadoes exuded from Aspherus' breaths. It would reverse the flow of the whirlpools created from Apphasis' hands moving through the water.

This to the two gods signified their might, this hurricane that was on the verge of tearing their realm asunder was their source of pride and joy.

Yet, as the twin gods Apphasis and Aspherus basked in the glory of their creation, they saw something forming inside the hurricane's center. In its eye, there was a glowing light, a ball of fire was forming.

The ball of fire glowed in all different colors, it was a formation that bewildered Apphasis and Aspherus. This ball was not created of their powers, how was it their realm, how were these genesis flames invading their world?

-------------------------------

Inside the primordial plain of fire, the Goddess Tiflos was also experimenting with her newfound powers. The realm was nothing but flames, flames that grew as she breathed, as she sang, as she danced. Flames that, to her, felt alive, felt as though they were her children.
