-Location City Of Vale Secret Camp-

Echidna and I arrived at the wooden house that definitely wasn't here before.

"I don't think I've seen this house before," I asked while looking at the decent-sized wooden house, it looked new.

"That is to be expected, I just made it after all." Echidna replied casually.

Hearing her reply, I couldn't help but think. 'Is she perhaps a Mokuton user? Because if she admits that, I would believe her without hesitation.'

"That's…pretty convenient…" It honestly is, damn I so want that.

"Indeed, it is but it takes a lot of mana to create a decent size house, so don't try asking me to build the people here the same thing as this," Echidna said with a solemn look.

"I wasn't about to!" Okay, maybe I did but it was only a fraction of a second before you cut it off!

"Just being sure, the mana in this reality is almost empty after all," Echidna admitted with a sigh.

Somehow I'm not surprised by that, after all, there are only 2 people in this reality who could do magic if you exclude the counterpart of Jaune, who knows if he's capable of doing magic but there's a high chance of him possibly knowing magic.

"Is that so? What about the last reality we went to?" I was talking about the demon slayer-verse.

"Oh, it's plenty alright almost the same in my own reality." Echidna replied while putting her finger on her chin.

Damn, that gesture of hers is cute.

"So magic exists in that reality too huh.." I wondered if someone is capable of casting magic in the previous reality.

"Mhm, but I don't think there are plenty of people who are capable of using magic in that world, the mana of the previous world is almost untouched after all, meaning there are few who are capable of magic casting in that world." Echidna finally went inside the wooden house she made.

I followed her inside, thinking about her words, and wondered who could possibly use magic in the demon slayer-verse.

Echidna sat at the wooden table that she made, and spoke. "Take a seat."

I sat at the table she pointed at and replied. "So, what are we going to talk about?"

Echidna stared into my eyes and said. "Blake, I made Beatrice."

Beatrice? Isn't that her daughter in the original timeline?

"Oh that's go-" But before I could finish my sentence she continued.

"And you're the father."

I froze in the spot, my brain started rebooting after a few moments of hearing her words.

"Excuse me?"

"I suppose, I'll have to repeat it for you. You're a father."

"I heard it for the first time! What I'm saying is how?!" I almost shouted at her, but I held it.

"Well, I used your DNA and mine, to create Beatrice." Echidna held a cup of tea and took a tiny sip.

I blinked at her actions and thought. 'Wait, when the hell did she get a cup of tea?!'

Taking a deep breath to calm down, then I stared at her in the eyes and said. "Why did you do it, without my knowledge or permission?"

Echidna took another sip of her tea and closed her eyes. "I apologize, but I couldn't stop myself."

An apology coming from her is very rare especially when she's genuine about it.

I could feel the guilt in her tone, but there wasn't any regret in it, meaning she didn't regret what she did, to her it was worth it, no matter what the consequences are.

Both of us didn't talk for a few minutes. Honestly, I don't know how I should feel about this, I was torn between getting angry and happy.

Honestly, I never thought I'd be happy knowing that I have a daughter, even though I wasn't ready to have one yet, gritting my teeth out of frustration.

"Fuck it, Echidna I want to get angry at you for doing this, but I couldn't but don't try to pull the same crap as this next time because I won't be just angry…I…J-just don't do it again okay? Promise me you would, because if you do this again. I-i don't think I could forgive you anymore…you betrayed my trust not only once but twice…" I feel hurt and conflicted saying those words, but I have to. I love her but if she continues doing things like this, she's someone I couldn't put my trust in.

"...I promise.." Echidna went closer to my spot and hugged me from behind.

I could feel her trembling body, even though she was not showing it, I could tell she was regretting her action.

We stayed in the same position for a full minute, before Echidna kissed me. I was surprised for a moment, but I returned a kiss after.

A few minutes later, our lips separated.

"As long as you keep your promise that everything will be fine."

"Mhm, I know, so tell me what exactly happened on your date with that blonde girl." Echidna stared right into my eyes.

I couldn't lie to her, not after we finished making out. "Well…we sparred on our date, which was disappointing at first but…"

"After that..?"

"We had sex…" I couldn't stop myself from cringing, hoping that she won't be mad at that information.

"Oh, I see…" Echidna nodded like it wasn't a big deal.

"Eh? T-that's it? You won't get mad?" Surprised by her reaction.

Echidna smiled at me and replied. "Why would I? I know that this was bound to happen, that's why I gave you my permission, also did you forget that I literally sold you to Lucifer?"

Oh yeah, right how could I forget, now that she mentioned it, I was now 100% the threesome did happen, I just couldn't remember it which is impossible.

This could only mean one thing, Lucifer wiped out my memories that night, yeah I definitely would demand her to return it after we meet again.

"Right, we'll definitely talk about the contract you made with Lucifer."

"Blake, you know I can't, it's part of the contract." Echidna replied with a sigh.

"Fine, fine." I rolled my eyes.

All of the sudden, someone started knocking on the door.

I went to open it, and I saw that it was Taylor who knocked. "Taylor? What is it?"

"I-i saw a person injured, a really nasty one about a half-kilometer away from the camp, using my insects…..so umm.."

"Taylor, if you want to help you can do it without my permission you know?"

"Sorry, I thought it was better to report it to you first.." Taylor said.

"Well, you're not exactly wrong, either way, let's now waste more time, who knows what will happen to that person if we take too long," I replied then, shifting my attention toward Echidna and said. "Are you coming as well?"

"I don't see the point, you'll come back here with that injured person anyway," Echidna said as she sat back in her seat.

"I get your point, so Taylor guide me there."

Taylor nodded and guided me to the location where her insects found the injured person.

It didn't take long for us to reach the place and I saw the injured person that Taylor was talking about.

And I was certainly surprised by who it was, it was Neopolitan, a major villain in the original RWBY.

Taylor did say that she was badly injured, but what the hell is this? Isn't this a corpse already?

Or I thought so, not until I saw her body twitch for a bit, and at that moment I knew I had to rush to the camp as soon as possible so that she could make it alive.

"Taylor, I'll have to go first because if I take any longer she would no doubt die," I spoke to her seriously.

Understanding how serious the situation was, Taylor nodded and replied. "I understand."

After that, I picked up Neo's petite body and rushed toward the camp as fast as I could.

It only took a few seconds to arrive at Echidna's location.

"Can you heal her with your magic?" I asked Echidna seriously.

"No, I can't, I'm not Minerva who could heal any kind of injury with a punch." Echidna shook her head.

"Then…" I bit my lips hearing her answer.

"I'm not done quite yet dear, listen I have a prototype medicine, well immortality but I haven't tested it on a live human yet, so I'm not sure if it would work," Echidna said with a hum.

"Wait, you completed the immortality project of yours?" I replied with a surprised expression.

"Dear, I said it's a prototype, it's not complete..yet, but anyway if you allow me to try the prototype immortality medicine on her, she might live, but we all know that at this rate she'll die soon."

She's right, we don't exactly have a choice in this matter, so I decided to take a gamble. If she dies then at least I tried to do something, but if she lives….

I can think about the consequences later, for now saving her life is a top priority.

"Do it."

"Alright then, follow me fufu~ I never expected this chance to appear." Echidna giggled excitedly at the prospect of getting a free human test subject.

I couldn't help but smile warily at her antics.

Hopefully, this decision is correct.

Prototype Immortality, close but still not yet complete, we'll eventually get there but for now.

Echidna shall test the prototype immortality on Neo, her human test subject.
