It was morning again. . .

I stared at the window as the school bus drove off. Then I curled up on my bed while wrapping my tail around myself. And I was hungry too... But master is still mad at me...just because of Lucifer..

I sighed quietly and put my hands over my face. I really wanted to run away from here...

I let out another deep sigh and then I heard someone's voice...

"𝘏𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶..."

I didn't pay much attention to it and kept looking down, "Who are you.."

"𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘦 𝘋𝘦𝘷, 𝘮𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘳... 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳..." a black shadowy figure appeared on the wall.

𝐹𝑜𝑟 𝑎 𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑, 𝐼 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐷𝑒𝑣 𝑖𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑟𝑡 𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚 𝑜𝑓 𝐷𝑒𝑣𝑖𝑙...

His voice was steadily intimidating when he spoke again, "𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘮𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘳... 𝘚𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦-"

"Leave right now!" I growled with my fists clenched, "First that Lucifer and now you! Just leave me alone!"

"𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮, 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶? 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘺𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘓𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶.." His shadow started to form a body but it looked like a complete silhouette body.

"I didn't let that Lucifer trick me! I just-"

"𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳... 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶.."

"He was just angry at that moment..." I looked down, my ears flattened over my head.

Then he snapped his fingers and then I found myself in a dark room.

𝐷𝑖𝑑 ℎ𝑒 𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡 𝑚𝑒 𝑜𝑟 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔?!

"𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦..." He whispered right behind my ear, making me startled.

I turned around to look at him. But all I saw was a silhouette body which felt like an illusion...

"Who are you really?" I asked again. Cautiously.

"𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘺 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭, 𝘮𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘸𝘰𝘭𝘧..."

I paused for a moment then I looked down with a sigh, "No...it was my fault.."

"𝘕𝘰, 𝘮𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘳... 𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘶𝘭𝘵. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚..." I felt his hand on my shoulder while my eyes flashed red after hearing the word 'revenge' but then I shook my head, "No!"

"Why do you want me to get revenge?' I asked with a low growl.

I looked at his red glowing eyes while growling and said, "No.."

Suddenly the floor started shaking for a second, then I stumbled and fell on the floor.

𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡'𝑠 𝑔𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑜𝑛?!

Darkness was everywhere I looked at.

And then. . .

A little girl ran past me but her appearance was a bit transparent..

She giggled as she hid behind a tree.

𝑊𝑎𝑖𝑡- 𝐻𝑜𝑤 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑒 𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑜𝑓 𝑎 𝑠𝑢𝑑𝑑𝑒𝑛?!

𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑎𝑛 𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛! 𝑁𝑜..

"Come and find me, master. " she giggled as she kept hiding behind the tree.

My heart started pounding in my chest as I watched her.

Then a boy, maybe 3-4 years older than her, came running towards her,"I found you, little one." He chuckled and patted her head.

𝐿𝑖𝑡𝑡𝑙𝑒 𝑜𝑛𝑒..? 𝐼𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡...𝑀𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟?

Suddenly they faded away and I saw a girl crying. She looked older than the girl that was here before.

I kneeled down infront of her to ses why she was crying but my hand went right through her like she was a ghost...

𝑂𝑟 𝑚𝑎𝑦𝑏𝑒 𝑎𝑛 𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛...

Just then I heard footsteps from behind and a boy walked towards her. He gripped her hair and pulled her hair up.

"I-I am sorry, great master.." she cried while holding onto his wrists as he tightened his grip on her hair.

My face turned emotionless...

𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑠𝑐𝑒𝑛𝑒... 𝐼 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑓𝑒𝑒𝑙 𝑖𝑡...

And suddenly, the scene changed again, one after another.

Every single time I saw him making her cry in many different ways...

"Why..." I whispered while slowly gripping my own hair.

"𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘢𝘸 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵, 𝘮𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘳..."

"My...past...?" I just froze while staring at the dark silhouette body.

"𝘕𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘥?" His voice turned into an intimidating whisper, "𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘮... 𝘏𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘸𝘰𝘭𝘧... 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧... 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚..."

His shadow slowly started to get inside my body and I saw darkness all around me... My body and mind felt empty...

And then suddenly. . .

"LEAVE HER ALONE!!" Master shouted with a growl as he appeared infront of me.

Then the shadow quickly got out of my body and vanished within a second.

I found myself back in my room, still without any idea about what was going on...

Then I looked at master, "Master, I-"

He suddenly slapped me across my face, harshly.

I placed my hand on my cheek and looked down as I tried to hold back my tears.

"What was he saying to you?! Were you going to get revenge?!" He growled and gripped my throat.

"No, master. I wasn't even thinking that.." I sniffled and looked up at him.

He then pushed me against the wall and said, "Don't you dare talk to anyone else again!"

I nodded and looked down.

Then he left the room and I sat down on the floor while curling up.

"𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘧𝘢𝘳, 𝘮𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘳..." That shadow appeared again and before I could look at him, master arrived in the room and shouted again, "Leave her alone, you bastard! You will never get her!"

The shadow slowly faded and I lowered my gaze again, "I am sorry, master.."

But he just sighed and slowly picked me up in his arms.

I tried to stay calm, my heart was racing and my eyes were wide,"Master, I-I am really sorry..""

"Shhh.." He whispered and carried me to the kitchen while holding my head close to his chest.

I heard his heartbeat for the very first time.

𝐵𝑢𝑡 𝑤ℎ𝑦 𝑖𝑠 ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠? 𝐼 𝑎𝑚 𝑔𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑠𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑑...

I quietly held my tail in my hands while looking down.

Then he placed me on a chair and handed me a plate of...some food which I had never seen before.

𝐺𝑜𝑑.. 𝐼 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑑𝑎𝑦𝑠... 𝐵𝑢𝑡...

I looked at him with an unsure look on my face.

"Eat it, little one..." He said...in soft voice.

I hesitated before slowly picking the spoon and started eating. I felt like I was gonna burst into tears as I continued to take small bites of the food.

𝑊ℎ𝑦 𝑖𝑠 ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑒𝑖𝑛ℎ 𝑛𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑜𝑓 𝑎 𝑠𝑢𝑑𝑑𝑒𝑛? 𝐼 𝑎𝑚 𝑠𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑑...

Then he sighed and leaned against the chair.

"I am sorry, master..." I swallowed the food while placing the spoon on the table.

"For what?" He asked while tracing his finger on the same spoon.

My ears flattened, then I looked down and said, "F-For replying to Lucifer that day... I just wanted to save you, master.. I didn't know that he was g-"

"It's fine now." He shoved a spoonful of food in my mouth and my eyes widened.

I was so shocked that I swallowed the food without chewing it, "I just-"

"Just shut up and eat, little one." He said in a hoarse voice this time as he pushed another spoonful of that food in my mouth.

I chewed slowly and looked down. But I felt really really strange and scared as he continued to feed me.

My hands were shaking in fear.

And I quietly looked up at him while chewing the food, but as soon as I saw his cold gaze, I lowered my head.

Soon he was done. I mean, the food was over...

I wiped my lips with my sleeve and kept a low gaze as I didn't want him to get mad at me again.

"Little one.." He said while placing the plate and spoon in the sink.

My ears perked up as I heard his voice and I turned my head to look at him, "Yes, master?"

He sighed and leaned against the wall, "I... I don't want you to listen to him... That shadow guy that was trying to manipulate you... Lucifer and some other people whom you should not talk to."

"But who was that shadow guy, master?" I asked while my tail swayed slowly.

"It's none of your concern. Just listen to me and do as I say." He growled and I nodded while looking down again.

"Why do you always look down when I talk to you?" He sighed and I bit my bottom lip quietly, not knowing what to answer.

Then we heard a knock at the door and my ears twitched.

"Stay here, little one.." He gave me a warning look before walking to the door.

I sighed quietly and looked down. But then my tail started swaying softly when I started to think of the way he fed me earlier...

"Hi, Mr. Alastor. Is Eva there?"

My ears perked up as I realized that it was Alex's voice!

"What do you want from her?" said Master with a growl.

"Oh.. I just wanted to make sure if she is okay. She didn't come to school for the past 3 days so... And I brought her some notes too." I heard him say while holding some notebooks in his hands.

𝐻𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑚𝑒...𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑚𝑒...?

"She is not going to school anymore." Master closed the door at his face and I facepalmed.

"But why not? Mr. Alastor, please.." He knocked on the door again.

Master growled but then he looked at me and sighed. "Why does she have to come to school?" He opened the door while giving Alex a cold gaze.

"Because...she can learn many things. She will face many challenges. She will also meet many fake friends which will hurt at first, but it will help her in future to recognise fake people. Futhermore, she will learn more things." He said with a smile on his face and I bit my lip hard.

So, I watched them quietly from the doorframe of the kitchen.

Then Master glanced at me before saying, "I can't let you hurt her."

"What?! I won't hurt her.." He frowned and looked down, "Just let her go to school...please.."

I sighed and leaned against the wall as I knew he would say no...

Then master stepped outside, making Alex step backwards.

He kept his cold gaze on Alex before marking his words, "Fine...But I have a condition."
