Control

*the next day

Zephyr drove to Scott's house at 5 am and saw Scott and Stiles waiting for him. he already expected stiles to tag along when he offered to train scott. 

"Hi scott, hi stiles" he said as he got out of his car 

"hi" said scott

"you're a weretiger" said stiles 

"That I am" he answered

"does that mean you can get high off of catnip?" stiles questioned

"that... is actually a really good question. i don't know, i've never tried."

"i can buy some for you."

"no thanks. i guess you'll be coming with us for the training. in that case we have to go in your car. mine only seats 2."

"alright but where are we going"

"there's a clearing in the preserve, i'll show you the way."

so they drove in stiles jeep to the preserve and after that they walk some way to the clearing. 

when they arrive there zephyr hand stiles the lacrosse stick in his hand and pulls the the heart monitor from his bag and tells scott to wear it.

"what am i supposed to do with this?" 

"well, you're going to hit scott with balls while scott tries to endure it while not getting his heart rate up." hearing this stiles gets a a wide smile on his face.

"ohh~ I'm going to enjoy this." said stiles

"I figured you would." then he turns to scott "and scott you're going to look for a anchor."

"anchor?"

"an anchor could be a person, a memory or even a emotion. it's something or someone for which you will struggle for control until the bitter end. think of something like that."

And then the training began. every time scott got out of control, Zephyr beat him until he regained control, then give him some time to recover before starting over again. scott decided to use his mother as an anchor, which according to zephyr was a good choice.

they continued until it was time for school. there was two weeks till the match on Saturday and zephyr was sure that he will teach enough control to scott by then so that he doesn't turn in the middle of the match.

there were also some changes in the plot because of his involvement. derek didn't get arrested because he already told scott the truth and Jackson also didn't get injured because scott was relatively more calm than in the the canon because of him. 

*two weeks later

"You're gonna come and watch me play tonight right?" he asked his mom while getting out of the main door

"of course, i won't miss it for the world." his mom replied 

"all right, I'll go ahead then."

"bye! drive safe."

and after this zephyr drove away to the the school where he met up with scott and stiles

"you guys feeling alright? especially you scott, feeling wolfish or something."

"no after you training i can control my shift way better now, thanks again for that."

"well i couldn't just watch as you tear people apart on the field could i? so don't worry about it."

he also heard jackson telling other teammates to pass only to him and not to scott or himself. but this plan of his was about to go in smoke.

they walked out on to the pitch and the game started and as expected no one passed to him or scott but soon after he found the ball lying in some distance. him and another one of his teammate ran towards it but he got there way faster. he picked the ball and then ran towards the opponent goal. it was like opponent's defense was like a sand castle that took a few seconds for him to dismantle and just like that he was in the only thing between him and the goal was the goalie and he couldn't even move a muscle before the ball went right past him and straight into the goal.

"Yes! That's how to do it! Pass to the Pretty boy!!" coach shouted and at the same time the crowd went wild. 

"Well at least I'm not princess anymore." Zephyr thought with a sigh.

after that his teammates also started passing to him. he also passed the ball to scott many times. the end result was an overwhelming victory for them. the final score was 5 goals by the opposing team and 20 goals by there team.

out of the 20 goals, 13 were scored by him, 5 by scott and 2 by jackson.

he saw the crowd running to the field he saw his mom and ran towards her and hugged her. 

"that was perfect. I'm proud of you." 

"thanks mom." he said 

at the same time he saw scott hugging his mom and then amelia. he concentrated his his hearing and was happy to see that Scott's heartbeat was calm and steady.

 then he started walking towards allison and hugged her.

"you were pretty amazing out there."

"well maybe I tried extra hard cause you were watching." Zephyr 

Hearing this allison leans in and kisses him. they stay that way for a few second before Zephyr parts from her. "you wanna go for a walk?"

"I wish i could but I have to leave with dad but we're still on for our date, right?"

"of course." he replied before kissing her again and then he finally let's her go.

*On monday 

he entered the school and found Stiles and scott talking about the dream he had where he attacked amelia. they then found out the bus covered with blood and it door ripped off. Scott started panicking.

"Hey, calm down, I'm sure she's fine let's find her" said Zephyr

they then split up and zephyr focused his hearing and immediately found her. 

"hey amelia" said Zephyr

"Oh, Hi zephyr." she replied a bit surprised which was understandable considering they've never talked before.

"Scott was looking for you. he had something to talk about. He's by the lockers."

"oh, ok thanks" she said and left and zephyr also left for his classes.

*at lunch

Stiles and Scott were seated at one side of the table and zephyr was seated across from them.

"did you see that guy get taken? i did that" scott said

"we're still not sure if you did that. you said you don't remember didn't you?"

"yeah. can you help me in remembering?"

"I'm sorry, but I can't sensing is different for tigers and wolves. i think you should ask derek. I'm sure he can teach you."

scott didn't like the idea of asking derek for help but reluctantly agreed. 

and just them Allison arrives and sits down next to Zephyr. and almost immediately lydia, jackson, danny and amelia arrive and sit down next to them as well. the conversation about the the attack bus driver starts again and lydia eventually changes the topic to his and Allison's date and changes their date to a triple date with lydia, jackson, scott and amelia also coming.

*at the bowling alley 

They arrived and started bowling and Jackson being jackson made it a competition. and then he lost, pretty badly at that.

him and Allison were the perfect team and they obliterated the others. scott sucked at bowling ball but Zephyr gave him some advice and he quickly improved. jackson could have at least won against Scott if not for lydia acting dumb to stroke his ego.

Scott was sitting and Zephyr walked up and sat down next to him.

"so? what's the verdict? Did you get your memories back?"

"Yeah. I was there that night but it was the alpha who killed the guy. Stiles thinks that he wanted me to kill together with him as a initiation into his pack."

"Sounds like a real bonding experience." he said jokingly

"this is not the time for jokes, Zephyr. Derek said that if next time i don't kill with the alpha, the alpha will kill me."

"Don't worry dude, I'll protect you. but this is perfect."

"what in the god's name is perfect. how is anything about this situation perfect."

"because the next time the alpha comes for you. I'll take him down." Zephyr said with a cold smile. Then he got up and went back to bowl.

*later that night in front of the argent house 

"I had a good time tonight." said Allison 

"Me too but I have to say, I'm not really good on group dates, so how about we go out alone next time. Just you and me."

"i think that would be just perfect" she replied and gave him a short kiss and started turning to go back to the house but Zephyr pulled her back and started to kiss her deeply. her lips were just as soft and sweet as the first time. they made out for a long time and Zephyr wanted the moment to never end. But as they say all good things must come to an end, they eventually parted. Allison went inside and Zephyr drove back to his house where his excited mom was waiting for him to question everything about his first date.
