Hmmm, I still don't see one.

Are the monsters really coming? I'm kinda sleepy now.

It's already been an hour since the sun had fall down and I still don't see any monster. Maybe this girl's parents are really just trying to scare her. Or, maybe there's an exact time where they would appear and not just when the night comes? Well, it's not like I'm doing research. I just want to see the monster.

I want to see how different is this world from mine. I also think that those Orcs are enough to say that this planet is pretty different but.. that is that, this is this.

From the scared look I got from her, looks like she's not lying at all.

Honestly, this kid. I don't know how to deal with her at all.

Well, it's not like I'm not scared of the monster. But, I never saw one of them so I want to know what they actually look like.

It being scary doesn't matter to me. For me, not knowing the unknown is what's scarier you know?

Honestly, I was curious about her age too. To me, she just looks like a twelve-year-old kid but she says and does things that the only adult would do so maybe this kid is some kind of elf with longevity or something. Anyway, it looks like she's not an enemy at all so any answer would be okay.

I look again at the outside through the hole that I made and didn't say anything.

I instantly removed my hands from her mouth and wipe them off in my lab coat.

She squirmed and instantly pull out and wipe out her saliva from that stick on her cheeks.

Because of the big stomp that feels like it's so close to us, we felt that feels like there's an earthquake and the sound that something explodes. We both got scared and surprised that we hug each other by reflex.

I told you to keep quiet right? What if the monster heard us? They will eat us you know?

"I know, I know. I definitely will be quiet okay. I will be a good girl so, please. Make the monster go away."

I look at the hole that I made again and saw a giant monster not that far away from us.

It is like the size of the tallest trees here already.

That's definitely freaking scary!

Luckily, it's not coming our way but is just walking past us.

Every step he makes though, the earth trembles, and because of that. The little girl Alruna that I unnoticeably hugged got so scared that I could literally feel her trembling.

"Mama! Mama! help me! Mama!"

She's so scared that she doesn't know that the monster is going away and not going here. She even got the mama calling reflex turned on.

I mean, I'm scared too, all to more that I saw it but she on the other hand is so much more scared than I am.

How do I do this? I think I have to at least lessen her fear.

Hey little kid. The monster is not going this way okay? Don't be scared now.

I tried to calm her down while trying to remove her hands off me. But her grip is stronger than me so I failed to do so.

"No! No! Don't leave me!"

Ahhh... What to do with this kid.

Okay, here's another plan.

Hey, you're already grown up right Alruna? You could hug me all you want but don't pee on me because you got too scared okay? I don't have a change of clothes you know?

After that, she instantly push me back and tried to cover her body with her hands.

Well, I'm kinda the same as her but because she got more scared, I thought I should just let her. But definitely not for long okay. Even if only see her as a kid, I still have a limit you know. Also, if she maybe stays on like that, she might not recover the way she was early on.

Not like I have knowledge about psychology. I think I might just have read too many novels. It might even be useless to care for this kid anyway but still, just the thought of someone having a trauma doesn't leave a good taste in my mouth.

Looks like she's back to normal again.
