Jacob

She slept peacefully on the bed, our bed if I must say. I missed waking up next to her; I missed everything about her, her light lavender scent that I enjoyed, the way her lips parted while she slept. I missed this the most, I missed her and I did everything I could to keep her close to me. I kept her close to me because I loved her, call me possessive, I don’t care she was mine from the beginning, now she would always be mine, we were meant to be.

She stirred in her sleep as the light came through the window, I couldn’t sleep because I was staring at my wife, my wife Maria was finally my wife. She slowly opened her eyes, her chocolate brown eyes staring back at my black ones. She lifted her hand and placed her palm on my cheek, caressing it and she pushed my face away.

I was surprised, “Did something happen Maria? Is everything alright? Did I do something wrong?” I asked. “Stay away from me…I might actually lose control if you stay close to me.” She whispered the last part, I smiled. I still had an effect on her and I am over the moon, I went closer to her and whispered in her ear, “ I heard that Maria, and I am glad you feel like that. I would be all the more happy if you actually lost control, my dear wife.” Hearing this she turned red, redder than a tomato. I liked it; I liked the red color she turned into. I really wish she would always turn that shade when she blushed. I did want to tease her more but she shocked me by placing her lips on mine and kissing me, before I had time to react, she moved away from me and walked towards the washroom, she turned back and said, “It’s not fair that I am the only one who is flustered Mr. Abraham, I do not like to owe anyone anything, even if it is to my husband.” She entered the washroom and locked it. I was left stunned, Maria had it in her to tease me…

Maria

I must be crazy, I must really be crazy. Waking up next to him was great; I almost gave up my resolve seeing those dark orbs of his, first thing in the morning. I would love to get used to the fact of getting up to his handsome face. Well I did kiss him, if it can be called a kiss that is.

Teasing him was fun, but I wanted more, I really wanted more from him. It is too early, no matter what I had to solve Anna’s matters first. My sister has only me now, my sister needs me, I am all she has left.
