Effects Of Heaven's Order (2)

Huo Lei and my wives noticed Dong Su Zhu and Yang Ying Feng. Out of my twelve wives only Qing Ning and Lei Xue were confused as to their identities. Seeing that Lu Yu Qin let out a slight giggle and then told the two of them. 

"Those are Husband's Grandmother and Grandfather." Lu Yu Qin explained. 

"Oh, really! That's amazing, I was hoping to get to meet them soon." Qing Ning excitedly smiled. 

"You know, I think I recall there was another woman holding onto Husband when he returned from that ambush. It was hard to tell for sure though, I was quite blinded by the one I was looking at." Lei Xue said, blushing. 

"Come on, let's go greet them. They are super nice people. So there's nothing to worry about." Xiu Che said, then flew over towards Dong Su Zhu. 

"Grandmother must be worried for Husband. Something like this is definitely quite the change. I wouldn't be surprised if he advanced to the Ancient Phoenix and Ancient Dragon Realms." Huo Lei said, flying after Xiu Che.

The others all flew over after, once they all arrived, to show their respect for their Husband's grandparents. My wives bowed respectfully. "Greetings Grandfather, Grandmother." My wives said in unison. 

"Oh my, I was right, Leiji has 12 wives now. He sure is influential enough but…" Yang Ying Feng started, stopping the moment he saw the angry look on Dong Su Zhu's face. "It's excellent to have so many granddaughters." He added, amending his original thoughts. 

"That's better. I've long come to terms with my son being so prolific. So it's not a surprise that my grandson is as well." Dong Su Zhu said, smiling. "But I'm quite interested in the story behind the two of you. But another time, oh, that's right. Come on, don't be a stranger and come give me a hug!" She continued, letting go of Yang Ying Feng, then wrapping her arms around Qing Ning and Lei Xue. 

Yang Ying Feng sighed internally. "Lei'er my grandson… He's going to be alright, right? He was sort of drained before this happened." He asked, directing his worry back to the trouble at hand, with his finger pointing at the egg. 

"I believe that my Husband will pull through. Anything else… I think my sisters would have a better answer for you, grandfather." Huo Lei explained, with a confident look. 

Chi Qiu came forward a little. "Grandfather, I can't tell you specifics given its in the language of the phoenix clan. And is naturally one of our secrets." She started. "But, I can say that what Husband is doing is going to be difficult. It is for any Phoenix. His process seems a bit different from what I've seen before. But my beloved darling Husband is about to be a Great Phoenix." She finished off with a smile. 

Then Bing Hua came forward. "Grandfather, I'm fairly certain that he is also going to become a Great Dragon. I'm not sure why this is all happening. But in either case it's a good thing. We like it when Husband gets stronger." She explained. 

"Yeah we do." Xiu Che licked her lips and she giggled. 

Yang Ying Feng floated there stunned by what he was hearing. He knew exactly what my wives meant when they said things like that. Call it, the instincts of a grandparent. And then with a lighter heart he looked on at the egg. "You can make it through this. Your family is waiting for you." He whispered, knowing it wouldn't reach him normally. 

~ Inside The Egg ~ 

My body kept transforming back and forth from Dragon to Phoenix. I was starting to get nauseous with how frequent it was. After what seemed like days, but was clearly only a matter of moments, I stayed in my Dragon Form, shed all my scales and grew to… 5000 Zhang. The egg began bursting at the seams with the power I was unleashing now. 

Directly after my scales grew back, I transformed back into my Phoenix form. Thank goodness I didn't eat anything… And once again my body grew to the size of an Ancient Phoenix. Why not the power? Because I had long surpassed that level with my synergized strength. However… Now that I've grown this much… My total strength will clearly be in a league of its own. Is this finally enough to beat a Royal Lord I wonder… It's a new league for sure, but the Royal Lord had taken just about every I could throw at it. It doesn't matter anyways. This is more than enough to start whittling away at that sealed Ink Giant Spirit God. A smirk came across my face. 

"Young Master, the egg is about to shatter. Star Boundary will be at risk like this." Fang Qing warned, so I reverted back to human form. 

The egg crumbled away revealing myself there floating in the center. The waves of Prestige stopped radiating outward and I could be seen performing a basic inspection of myself. 

"Wow… This would have been very helpful that day. I might have won… No, that's a bit wishful thinking. I certainly wouldn't have been in such a sorry state though. That's for sure." I laughed, putting my hands on my hips. 

Yang Kai brought his head down to look at me. He did an inspection of his own. "You've done well son. You'll surpass me faster than I thought if you keep this up." He said in his deep dragon voice. 

"I still have a ways to go, father. Oh, Thank you for what you did this time. Because of this I am a lot stronger, but more importantly I'm closer to all of you." I replied, conveying my thanks. "I'd transform and dance around a bit… But I've had enough of the transforming thing for one day. I'll lose my stomach if I try transforming again." I added, chuckling a bit. 

"Son, don't worry, there's no rush. We're just proud of you. But make sure you don't neglect your Human Training." Su Yan said, transforming back to human form and coddling me. 

"I won't forget dear mother. I still have a lot of work to do." I said, enjoying the sensation while it lasted. I knew it was about to get hectic with all the others trying to fight over doing the same thing.
