War starts with Terror (4)

Entering the ship they were met with Bandits that roamed around the Drakensberg. Armed they fired upon Dracule who only shot back without care hitting a few while Athena and Claptrap aimed with precision and force. Reaching towards a downed Bandit he finished him when all of sudden the sword started to pulse its blade growing longer its edge getting sharper. Seeing the demonic glow Dracule smiled satisfied before sighing.

"I'm getting quite tired of this usually these jobs end quickly," Dracule muttered walking past the corpses. (AN: Killers need breaks as well. Killing a lot of people can be very tiring. Just like grinding in games sometimes it can also be tiring. This also reflects me right now as I kinda inject my mood into the story at the time I write.)

"Maybe I should take a break from the killing after this. Might become a teacher or something... Bsssssssshhhh," Dracule thought smiling. Reaching the Bosan's entrance to his lair he was met with a large door frame. Nearing and almost walking past they were blocked by a Forcefield restricting the gang from passing.

"HAHAHA! EAT shite ARSEHOLES! taste my wrath. Well, I kinda blocked the way towards my wrath but you'll taste my men's Wrath instead. Kill them, wait you already killed them... Enjoy sitting out there while I and my girlfriend watch comfortably from the captain's quarters!" The Bosan spat.

"Listen, here Vault hunters I'm not really with Captain Arsecrack over here... To prove it I'll show you a way to get that military A.I. Here are the coordinates to manually shut down The door. The coordinates lead to the battery cells that power that door with it you'll be free to open it. I'll try and help you when I can," The skipper explained.

"Don't worry Sweetheart I'm just doing nothing! Trust me!" She lied.

"Look Vault Hunters I don't have a lot of time. The skipper may be weird but he is not stupid. He took over the Drakensberg for a reason and it wasn't his weird tendencies. He was... more acceptable back then," She explained.

"I'm not really into going all the way to the back just to shut off this damn door." Dracule sighed grabbing his blade and cutting the frame of the door causing massive shockwave throughout the ship to go in shock. Seeing lights flicker the skipper panicked.

"Wha, wha, what, what was that?! what did you?! My god," The skipper stuttered seeing the entrance to the Bosan lair opened.

"I just cut the frame of the door. Just like cutting the crust off a sandwich," Dracule explained crossing through.

"The sword can now cut through metal like butter now, huh. How nice," Dracule complemented.

Going down an elevator they were met with a room similar to a communication room. Modules scattered everywhere like an office with desks shuffled near them. Everything was high tech and opened with stares leading to other modules and desks. Surrounding the walls were large monitors with most of them being turned off or completely broke some having gunshot marking in them while other had hatchets. Entering into the room bandits quickly all fired at the crew. Claptrap seeing it hid behind Athena who blocked the incoming shots

"You dare come into my ship, kill my men, and the attempt to steal from me!? Welcome to your death wish grinder!" The Bosan spat as he flew from his helicopter contraption filled with monitors and gizmos. Activating his shields covering his entire vehicle. towers then erected upwards supercharging the shields while also repair parts of the vehicle. Dracule slicing towards the bubble shield cracked it open. The shield instantly burned of fuel shut it down, the shield momentarily. Now wide open claptrap shot him dead in the face ending him.

The helicopter contraption now without a driver drove straight down splatting the Bosans head into a bloody mess before exploding like a Hollywood blockbuster. The scene looked almost too similar to Micheal bays films.

"TEAMWORK! HIGH FIVE ATHENA AND DRACULE!" Claptrap exclaimed. Athena giving Claptrap a high five made their way to the back of the ship.

"Keep going to the back to the main data center there you will find you A.I," The skipper promised.

"That sounds a bit too easy..." Jack answered from claptraps ECHOdevice.

"True... Although imagine if we had to travel all the way to the back of the ship and shut down the power cells and core through an elaborate plan while simultaneously sabotaging the mainframe from this ship just to get an A.I," Dracule explained.

"Huh, imagine that" Athena chimed.

"Life easy with a space ship I can only imagine the pain of walking and driving through the bandit infested area's of Elpis..." Dracule continued. Walking through a door they walked past the data banks of the Drakensberg.

Reaching the main data center they were shocked to find a speaker and monitor the skipper etched onto it. Confused they looked around before asking the skipper.

"Hold up I thought we were here to get an A.I all I see is your name attached to the monitor," Athena asked.

"That's because I am the Military grade A.I that you are looking for. Before the cracking, I was once the proud pilot and A.I of the Drakensberg. I was once proud of this ship but after the ship fell things changed... The Bosan the Tech engineer at the time took over and reprogrammed me to become his "Companion" After he wasn't such a hit with the ladies. Enter the room and pull me out. The Drakensberg time has long since past. It's time for me to move on and see the stars again. IF I help you in exchange I want to pilot a ship. I want to see the galaxy once more," The skipper negotiated.

"I knew it! Well, swipe my socks. The skipper is an A.I! I always had my suspicions but I never could prove it," Pickle cheered.

"Then we have a deal," Dracule smiled walking into the room where the skipper was and pulling out her data core removing her from the Drakensberg data banks and systems.

"Jack here, So the hot check was the A.I the whole time. I never saw that coming," Jack stated.

"Same," Dracule admitted.

"Well now that we have our seek ass Military-grade A.I all we have to do now is get a sick ass robot. Here are the coordinates Roland sent them in. I'll be seeing you soon. Stay safe. The fate of Elpis depends on us," Jack ordered.
