"Hey sugar, I heard you are planning on shutting down the laser," Moxx said calling in.

"Did you not hear us when we were in your bar or were you not paying attention? And knock it off with the "Sugar" Thing, will yah?" Jack asked.

"Look whatever you are planning on doing isn't going to work. A laser of that size, using that much power? There's no way the colonel hasn't rigged it to explode the entire station if you try to disarm it," Moxxi reasoned.

"She-- yeah! Of course, I knew that heh. Dammit... How did I not see that coming?" Moxxi stated on an open channel connected to the vault hunters and her.

'I Smell betrayal... I've seen it done far too many times to not sniff it... For now, I'll just watch... A hundred million dollars is on the line anyway,' Dracule thought.

"Good thing you've got a tech whiz on your side, sugar. I'll help you get that laser down, no muss, no fuss, no explosions." She explained.

'On our side aye... Only time will tell,' Dracule thought again.

"Thanks, Mox, I appreciate it. I'll send you the blueprints now." Jack thanked.

"Alright, listen I've got a plan Lilith and Roland will head to the station's reactor. Jack you and the vault hunters head at the eye of Helio's itself. Once everyone is in place, we should be able to shut down the laser and save the moon," Moxxi explained.

"I love it when you get technical," Jack flirted.

"I know," Moxxi replied.

Dracule, Athena, and claptrap entering the Comand center were welcomed to the loud voice of jack.

"Hey, Jack could you press that switch. It'll activate the Elevator up. I found a secret elevator up when I was looking at the blueprints. Just tap it, it's just on one of the walls. Besides, I locked the place before Dahl took over. I'm gonna need to open it for you," Jack explained sending coordinates. Pressing it they were greeted with the rest of the vault hunters who seemed to have different expressions on their faces as they came up. Jack came up confident, while Wilhelm seemed indifferent, Nisha excited, Jack's doppelganger and Aurelia both worried.

"Follow me. We got a world to save." Jack stated determinedly.

Opening the door the gang went up the stare and into the main command station. Inside was an overview of Elpis with holograms of statistics on the sides of random facts with some showing energy levels. Many computers and monitors also littered it. Jack overlooking the command center smiled.

"Look at those Loaders... It's beautiful." Jack commented seeing the constructer bot pump out vicious amounts of Combat loaders which blitzed around.

"Yeah, too bad Gladstone didn't get to see it," Dracule muttered seeing Gladstones' dream come true only for it to be twisted into Jack's own. Jack also seeing the eye of helio's charging up smiled.

"See that right there? That's the weapon of all weapons. The Eye of Helio's," Jack added rubbing his hand.

"A laser powerful enough to crack the moon... what powers it?" Athena asked.

"Must be the tears and regret of all Hyperion Employees!" Claptrap joked.

"Might be your product line next," Jack muttered which was only heard by Nisha and Wilhelm who chuckled.

"What powers it? Well you know... Stuff... Let's shut it down, Let's just shut it down," Jack continued.

"Ok well anyway inside the laser is a core reactor that makes it all work. Log on the control systems and try to shut it down remotely," Jack ordered.

*Remote shut down failed. Systems lockout*

"Well then," Claptrap responded.

"Zarpedon lock you out? Sounds like you'll have to shut it down the old fashioned way. With your hands." Moxxi stated.

"Ah for love of -- she's right... Look you're gonna have to get down to the laser core and shut'er down manually. Good luck," Jack ordered rubbing his forehead.

Reaching down the gang was met with a forward assault by Dahl soldiers. The loader bots having been outgunned by them were met with opposition. It seemed this was the last stand of a sort. These soldiers were fighting with what they had. Athena seeing this frowned.

The area was a flat platform with many blockades that protected most of the Dahl soldiers with small cracks enough for a bullet to exit. Behind them was a door which was the entrance to Eye of Helio's.

"They're getting desperate," Athena stated.

"Then lets end em quickly," Nisha smiled. Quickly drawing her pistols she quickly aimed towards the Dahl soldiers who unfortunately had their heads poking out.

"This will be a breeze," Wilhelm exclaimed drawing out two drones and ordering them forward.

"This is going to get messy and I am not gonna like it," Jacks Dobblganger complained.

"ATTACK!" Zarpedon demanded.
