Ambitious Plan

A deep scowl marred the handsome face of Ronnie Quentin.

Nothing had gone on well for him. Not only did Damien decline his offer, he had to be tongue lashed by the foul mouthed narcissistic jerk Silas Spears!

Ronnie's face became even more twisted when he recalled how Silas had brutally humiliated him in front of all the faction leaders, students his group and his nemesis Damien.

He had to deal with Silas.

Unfortunately, Silas' family was as prominent as his so any underhanded methods were bound to fail. The only way to teach him a lesson had to be through a direct confrontation or duel.

This option was equally unpleasant because Silas' words were like barbs and could even give internal injuries!

He had mastered the art of cussing and irritating people to the point that he even awoke that power.

Coupled with his spear mastery and his power to even turn into a spear himself, Silas was lethal both close range and long range!

His verbal taunts would make his opponents miserable if they were long ranged and if they were close enough? They would have to bear the full brunt of a trash talking spear!

Anyone who was unprivileged to fight Silas in a duel was going to be in for an earful!

Truly, Silas' power was more deserving of him.

If it were anyone else, especially someone without a formidable background, they wouldn't even know how they died because their words would anger so many people who would stop at nothing to kill them.

Unfortunately, Silas had the background to back up his vile mouth so most people had to swallow their dissatisfaction when he gave them a verbal lashing!

While Ronnie was engrossed in his thoughts and foul mood, Danny Bloom rushed into his room with urgency.

"Boss, check out the school platform! Damien is trending!" he reported anxiously.

Ronnie's eyes went wide in shock. "What?! What did he do? What happened?" Ronnie inquired.

Danny showed him the tablet he was holding and played a video.

With wide eyes, Ronnie watched in shock as a certain boy walked up to Damien who was in a weird pose and slapped him with full force!

"Hahahaha!! Serves him right!" Ronnie guffawed in glee.

He was elated! Damien had been slapped in public and it had gone viral!

Damien had been publicly humiliated without him even lifting a finger!

Where would Damien hide his face now?

"Quick, find out who that guy is and bring him to join our faction! I'll reward him personally!" Ronnie said with a wide smirk.

"Uh boss… that's not the end of the video," Danny Bloom said as sweat dripped from his forehead. If it was from body exertion or fear, no one knew.

"Hehehe… huh?" the laughter died on the lips of Ronnie as he watched the boy suddenly fall to the ground, holding his head and screaming his ass off!

Ronnie's smirk froze when the boy lost control of his bladder and bowels, pissing and shitting and crying with snot running all over his face!

Wtf?!

"What happened? How did he end up like that?" Ronnie asked in shock.

"Damien must have done something. They should punish him!" Ronnie accused, pointing at the image of Damien who looked super cool.

"Oops, my bad," the image of Damien voiced nonchalantly, causing Ronnie to gnash his teeth in anger.

"Boss everyone knows that Damien did it but there's no proof of it! They said even the training center footage and instructor couldn't tell what exactly Damien did," Danny explained.

"Fuck!!" Ronnie cursed angrily, pounding his fist on the chair he sat on.

This was the second time he had lost control today!

At the same time, worry filled him.

What kind of power did Damien use?

How did he do that?

If so could he do it again?

Didn't it mean that anyone who sparred with Damien would end up humiliating himself?

Imagine the embarrassment of it, in the middle of a duel then your opponent causes you to crap and piss on yourself!

"Damien has four powers right? Which one can do this kind of weird shit?" Ronnie inquired.

"Uh yeah… he has Space and Psychic elements, a soul rune and a body physique," Danny replied.

"It must be the soul rune! Soul powers are always weird and mysterious. You know Evan Long right? That annoying middle sector guy from the Long family? He has a soul power similar to this only that the effects aren't as extreme as Damien's!" Ronnie said.

The cogs of his mind turned at a rapid pace, trying to decipher what power Damien had used.

"Yeah but Evan needs a flute for his power. The most I know he can do is give people piercing headaches with his playing or even put them to sleep," Danny replied.

Ronnie nodded absentmindedly as he kept on watching the video over and over again!

Fear had creeped into his heart. What scared people almost always was the fear of the unknown and he didn't know what Damien did to the boy for him to end up in such a state!

Ronnie didn't want to be humiliated like that boy.

He would lose so much face and respect!

He would become a laughingstock and the butt of everyone's jokes!

That foul mouthed Silas Spears wouldn't hesitate to add insult to his injury!

All his plans and careful preparations to become the strongest in the Imperial Institute and even the world would be as good as over!

And he didn't want that to happen.

He couldn't afford to fight Damien until at least he figured out how that power worked and its limitations.

Perhaps it required body contact?

Or the opponent had to be the aggressor?

Ronnie's mind run about in circles.

He needed to find out!

He needed to do something!

He turned to Danny. "From now on, fully monitor what Damien does. I want to know everything! When I say everything I mean everything. Get close to those he was sitting with back in the hovercraft and find out what they know.

When he attends the Application class, get some of our people to spar with him. If not, offer one high grade mana stone to those he will duel with for them to force him to reveal more of his power.

Oh, and also tell Victor to rack his brains if he's forgotten something about Damien and his powers.

I want to know it all!"

"What about the boy?" Danny Bloom asked.

Ronnie Quentin looked at the writhing image on the screen and narrowed his eyes.

After a few seconds, he came to a decision.

"Bring him to me. He's the only one who has experienced Damien's power firsthand. Besides, He's of use to me… but not now.

With what has happened, he would need a savior right?

Someone to pull him from the depths of his abyss.

He'd be so grateful…

Then I can use him to attack Damien and make him pay for rejecting me.

Hmm…

It would be a win-win situation right? He gets revenge and I also get satisfaction.

Sounds like a brilliant plan!"

Ronnie turned to Danny. "What do you think?"

"It's a great idea boss," Danny replied.

"Mm… I thought as much. When it's left with a few days before he gets expelled, send him some high grade mana stones and tell him there's more of where it came from and that I'm willing to help him," Ronnie said, deep in thought.

Danny nodded and left the room.

Ronnie was deeply engrossed in his thoughts and future plans.

There were so many things he could do if he was able to snag someone who was at the end of his wits.

The gratitude wouldn't even be quantifiable!

He would acquire a supremely loyal follower, an obedient dog ready to do whatever he wanted.

Ronnie would be a fool if he trusted his current crop of followers.

He knew that the only reason they followed him obediently was due to his family's prestige and his noble status.

Don't even forget the mana stones he rewarded them with.

If it all disappeared, they would also vanish overnight.

Fortunately, that had an extremely low possibility of happening.

He was going to use them and build his personal force without them even knowing it.

But he would keep them at arms-length while giving them the illusion that they were useful to him…

Which they already were.

Hell, he could even use them to blackmail their families!

Anything was possible as long as he made the plans for it.

Ronnie had grand plans which even went far ahead of this small school.

The world and even the galaxy was going to be his stage.

And for that he needed truly loyal followers who would be heavily indebted to him.

Ronnie was no fool.

Someone like that boy might seem useless to many at first time would prove how indispensable such a person would be!

It was truly a godsend gift to him.

If he did it right, he would get his first loyal follower…

Excluding his personal butler and guards at home.

"James huh? Your savior will soon appear… you'll be one of my first steps to reaching the pinnacle!" Ronnie smirked.

"And as for you, Damien? You don't know what's coming your way… no one rejects me!" Ronnie's smirk became even more malicious.

He was going to screw with Damien.

If possible, even make him indebted to him.

If he was able to get the loyalty of Damien too, it would be a powerful addition to his plans!

It was just a matter of the right timing, setting him up and appearing as his savior, just like he was going to do to James.

Of course, if he was still stubborn and resisted his goodwill, he would be useless to Ronnie and would have to be eliminated to prevent any surprises and twists.

Ronnie grinned.

Suddenly, the day didn't seem so bad after all.
