First Kill

The brown-haired man looked shocked, but soon he regained his calm and snatched the knife from Noah's hand, he then held Noah's neck and pointed the knife at it.

"Go away knights, otherwise I will kill this Innocent child" The man said while threatening Noah's life

'WHAT' Was the only thought that came to Noah's mind, the man in front of him suddenly changed his attitude.

Noah tried to move from his grip but he couldn't, a different force held his body from moving.

'Is it also some kind of magic' Noah thought.

Then another arrow shot from behind the bushes but before it could hit the brown-haired man holding Noah it got deflected by a purple barrier created around the man.

"I should have figured that they would send an annoying pest like you" The knight from earlier named Mark came from behind the bushes.

"Never have I thought that I would get captured," The brown-haired man said

"You used mist magic so that weak people will reach this place while strong ones like the knights will stay away, did you think we won't notice that" Mark said

Noah slowly understood what is going on, he was shocked but first he needed to get out of this man's grip

Mark then draw his sword and lightning crackled around it.

He swung it shattering the barrier, then lightning surrounded Marks's whole body as he dashed forward.

"Are you going to kill this kid with me?" The brown-haired man asked.

"Who knows that this kid is not your accomplice" Mark said

Before mark could charge towards the brown-haired man and Noah a purple light erupted from beneath the ground, Mark jumped back to avoid it while the pillar launched projectiles towards Mark.

Seeing this as a chance Noah flared up the minuscule amount of mana he has and broke the bindings of the brown-haired man, he didn't care about the knife that the man has and started running.

"You brat" The man shouted while going after him but then an arrow penetrated his leg.

When he looked at the place from where the arrow came from, he saw Mark and another knight with a crossbow.

The man then healed his injuries and manifested a purple orb ready to fight the two knights.

While the fight between the two of them began Noah just focused on running, he knew that staying here is dangerous so he enhanced his legs with mana and ran.

The original Noah had decent control over mana and so the current Noah is able to enhance weapons and his body with mana.

While Noah was running with his top speed like his life depends on it, and it actually does, when a dagger stabbed Noah's left shoulder at his back.

Noah fell to the ground, he came far away from the battlefield where Mark the knight and the brown-haired man is fighting but the other two knights were actually waiting for him.

"Did a kid is also an accomplice?" A knight asked while swinging his dagger.

"Who knows, but we can't let anyone escape," The other knight said.

'What the heck, first I was burned and now this' Thought Noah

The knight approached the fallen Noah who is struggling to get up, he is exhausted, wounded, and out of mana as well.

"Well, I will make your death a painless one" The knight with the dagger said

'I don't want to die' Noah screamed in his mind.

The moment the knight tried to swing his dagger at Noah's neck a black construct formed from the wound by the dagger.

"What the-" The knight tried to jump back but the black construct expanded like a root and pierced the knight's stomach along with his armor.

The knight coughed up some blood and soon his hair started to turn white, his skin turned pale, and then it gained wrinkles, the young knight became old and soon turned into ashed leaving behind only an armor with a huge hole.

"What are you," Asked the other knight who is shocked by the sudden death of his comrade.

Noah, then stood up, revealing his new form, his left eye now has black sclera and red iris, and a black construct similar to a rood or a featherless broken wing came out from his left shoulder.

Seeing that the kid in front of him has no intention of answering him the knight decided to attack him.

A golden ring formed around the knight which then floated towards Noah and sent a wave toward him, Noah was sent flying by it.

This is the knight's skill, [Sonic Ring], this ring allows him to create sound waves and add elemental nature to it as well.

Noah who was sent flying jumped and attacked the knight.

"What, you are already out of mana" The knight said while dodging Noah's attacks

Deciding to end this the knight used fire element on his [Sonic Ring] and sent a stream of fire towards Noah.

Noah simply looked at the approaching stream of fire with his blazing red eyes when a black disc appeared between Noah and the fire and swallowed the flame.

"What" The knight's eyes widened at this, he once again attacked Noah but this time with simple sound waves but that too was swallowed by the black disc.

What surprised the knight more is the fact that Noah's mana which should have been reached zero is increasing.

"So you are absorbing my mana huh" The knight muttered while looking at Noah who is standing there like nothing.

'Long-range attacks are useless against him, he will simply absorb them and if I went into close combat then that weird thing from his back will instantly kill me' The knight thought but before he could make another plan to attack Noah another construct pierced him.

He looked at his stomach in pain and found out that Noah's construct has reached him from underground, the knight then quickly turned into ashes and became nourishment for Noah.
