Everyone were at owe from Macro's abilities. Redon mumbled to himself with a strange face: "Using lightning is cheating."

He got zapped and lost to Macro so much in the past few years that he had to fight from afar against his younger brother to win. If he would somehow get to close he would get zapped and lose instantly. It caused him to make a special strategy to fight users of the lightning element.

After that there were a few more commoners and ex nobles kids that showed a good talent. When it happened Max nodded with content. Talented brats were always good for him and his empire.

After a short time a big amount of kids were disqualified because they did not reach the first level of knight apprentice. It was the new norm for all academic facilities now. All people that could cultivate would reach the first knight apprentice level by themselves. There were some of the brats that passed the test of the gaming club and went to the goblin crypt to reach the first level of the knight apprentice. It was now a viable option, but it was not something cheap for the average citizen to do.

After the first test there was the second test that tested the power level of the student's strength by punching a training dummy. A lot of different kids tried their luck. Max was surprised that the new norms of power were a lot higher then before. Now it was 450 kg of force for the first level knight apprentice and 900 kg for the second. There was a 1350kg for the third level of the knight apprentice, but there were almost no such people during the recent years. Before some of the kids from the noble families got to the level of the third apprentice level with alchemical pills and the result was not good int the long term and because of that most of the people of the empire did not use alchemical products until some kind of bottleneck in their progress. Because of that the top talents were at the second level of knight apprentice. In the past the weights they needed to achieve, by hitting the dummy they were a lot lower. The norm increased almost by two times. After some time it was the turn of Redon again. The kid was excited and already started to make a move using all of his life force and fire magic. In the last moment his punch hit Max's hand and he flew back, falling on his ass. When the kid looked at Max with a questioning gaze Max started to scream: "Brat are you dumb? It is a dummy for knight apprentices. If you hit it with fire magic what will happen? Do you use your little brain? Would you pay for the damage if this thing explodes?"

When Max said the part about the brain he blinked next to the kid and knocked on the head of Redon, which flinched in response.

The kid got the point and started to speak: "Father, please stop. I got it. I will not use fire magic."

Max humphed and went away. Jax was sweating bullets at the back on the stage. He saw what happened and it would cost him a fortune to buy another dummy like this. He was grateful for the emperor. He could not do the same with the kid. All the rest of the people looked with interest. It was not every day you will see the emperor scold his children.

Redon got stood up and got ready to hit the dummy again. He was red from embarrassment and rage towards his stupidity. He got a lot of punishment for Max already when he was thinking after doing something. The worst punishment Max did was sparring with Redon. In this mode Redon got destroyed so hard that his pride kept him from doing something like he did again for a long time. He did not like to lose and when he fought Max he felt like a little bug. Redon and the kids learned the shadow step of the assassin profession. It was a basic for them.

Redon got ready and got his speed for the maximum with the shadow step skill and hit with all of his strength. The dummy was hit hard and soon the result was shown on the screen. 2500 kg.

A lot of people did not even know how to respond. This brat could fight some of the weaker level 5 apprentice knights head on and destroy them. Redon was also happy with his result because it was his best result so far. After trying for two more times he could not beat his first result and went back to Max, which was still not happy. After that it was Nina's turn. The different high level family heads that were present looked at her performance with a lot of attention. There were multiple kids taking the test at the same time. The princes and the princesses attracted a lot of attention to them. After Redon huge numbers that broke the academies record that was set by Max's student Rey. Nina stepped on the stage and got ready as well. She used her earth magic to cover herself and cover her knuckles and make the same shadow step to get to the maximum speed possible in a short time to hit the dummy. The result was surprising. It was 2900kg. Max nodded his head with contempt. Redon started to complain out loud: "This is cheating!" he said.

Max hit him on the back of his head and said: "It is using your brain you little retard. Her element cannot harm the dummy like yours and Marco's and she can use it in a fist fight so stop whining and train harder!"

The family heads were flabbergasted and looked at the girl with a lot of desire. She was even stronger than her big brother in terms of hand to hand combat. It was impressive. Nina also hit two more times and in the third time she managed to get 3000kg score. This result attracted a lot of cheers from everyone. It was insane result that future generations will work hard to beat. Jax even decided to keep the top three result for the future to see where the future generations will stand. The last one was Marco. He did not really score something incredible. It was 1350kg. It was not bad for a second level knight apprentice, but nothing special. It was still enough for him to get accepted into the academy. After a few more hours the tests ended and the new generation of kids were accepted into one of the top academies of the empire. In the years to come a lot of Max's decedents got into the top academies and shocked them by their talent and skill. After the start of the studies of Redon, Nina and Marco around 7 more years had passed and something unexpected happened. Max got contacted by the Ruth empire empress that send a simple message, but alarming message: "There is a war raging between many empires and I need your help."

When Max saw this he was not happy. He sighed to himself and said: "Oh man not again..."
