Max did gave funny instructions to his three most talented brats after they returned to the Alexandria capital. The instructions were simple. They would take the responsibility for the empire while he was traveling. He would come back with the teleportation formation he could craft now to enter the gaming club when he wanted, but they still would have to be responsible for the country. The brats were happy until he told them that every mistake they would do that will cost the empire resources will be taken from them to pay. The faces of Nina, Redon and Marco shifted from a smile to bewilderment and fury, but before they could retort Max already flew off with lingering words that drifted to their ears: "Brats, I don't give a shit what you have to say. If you do some stupid shit you will pay and I will kick your ass after. So be nice and smart while I'm off. Good luck!"
Nina looked at her two brothers and said with a frosty voice: "The one of us that will fuck up will have to pay!"
After that she stormed off in fury. She knew Max did it on purpose to teach them, but she was not ready to pay for Marco and Redon. Especially Redon. If he would lose his cool and do some stupid shit she would have to pay for that for years to come. She was not ready for such stuff.
As for Max. He was making his way to the center of the continent. The fight with the demons proved to Max that some dark things were happening behind the scenes. Max was indeed strong right now, but he could not take over a whole race. There were enough powerhouses like him on this continent in terms of power level. He was sure strong, but with enough power against him he would fall. His plan was simple. He would not go as a ruler of an empire or even as a high mage. He would go as an alchemist. He was strong in this field and he wanted to get to a level of a master alchemist or even a grand-master alchemist. He did not really know what was needed for this, but he was sure he was qualified to be on a level of a master alchemist. Even with his status of only an alchemist he was sure he could have a lot of good new connections and make a lot more friends than enemies. He wanted to go with this identity to the bigger empires to have an easier time to understand what was going on. He was sure it would work because in the Ruth empire there were only a few alchemists and even their level was dog shit. He was sure that the there would be more competent people in the higher level empires, but even there he would be a respected figure.
Max wanted to take the trip slow, but he did not really have the ability to take it slow right now. He did not know what was going on or why the different races did start wars in the lower level empires. The question was why did the humans did not send powers to just annihilate those demons, elfs and dwarfs that caused trouble? It was something that Max had a hard time understanding. Something was wrong. Very wrong. From what Max understood the humans were divided by territory, history and interests. Those who did hold power did not want to let go. Sometimes it could lead to a disaster. It seems like it what was going on now.
Max did try to travel quickly but to now draw to much attention to himself. When he saw a city he would land and walk on ground. He would put the alchemist badge on himself. It did cause people to pay attention to him, but in the same time it was like a shield that told people that they could look, but not touch. He was defended by the alchemist association. Most people could not survive the retaliation of the alchemists if any alchemist was harmed. They could just hire high level powerhouses that would destroy not only the people that did this but the city it happened in as well. That's why Max liked to walk around with a swagger around. It did cause all the problems to just slide around him. There were enough bandits and other people that looked for trouble with different people, but they did kept their cool. Max just explored this world. He enjoyed every moment, but did not forget about his main task. He did not try to look for any information right now because the cities he visited were small and those empires were still low level. Some of them were in war between each other. Max empire was located near the demons and because of that they were the one that caused a lot of unrest in the weaker human empires. Max even saw a battlefield between two armies of empires he did not really care about. He was doing his way slowly but surely to the center of the continent. Max was surprised by the shier size of the continent. It was much bigger than he imagined. Even as a high mage it took him time to fly over whole empires towards his goal. He did come back by a teleportation formation he built to just enjoy the gaming club. He did alert people when he came back, but when someone asked a question about something to do Max told them to ask his brats without any hesitation. He did not even wanted to hear about government affairs. He just checked that there was no threat that his brats could not handle. Everything else was something he was not interested in. The Yin Yang empire was doing steady steps forward and it was enough for Max it seems that the brats somehow held the situation under control. He did get a report that Redon fucked up a transfer of army weapons from the battlefield back to the empire but he was not surprised. The stupid brat did put together materials that reacted violently together and caused a sizable explosion that the troops could not put down for a whole day. When Max heard this from his army representative he just sighed. Well Redon would just need to pay from his allowance and get the losses back to the empire. It was a win win situation for Max anyway. Max did not know that Redon arrived at the explosion sight shortly after the boom did happen and when he understood that he fucked up he fired pyro blasts at the explosion sight making the different soldiers to sigh and wait for the prince to calm down before putting the fire down.
