After some silence of Derek's explanation Max got the point that Derek did make sense. Now Max was interested to know about the slave contract, and everything connected to it. He wanted to know what to do with Valeria. Generally, he did not want her to be his slave. He wanted subordinates that willingly wanted to be by his side and not people without their own will. Maybe it will change in the future but now this were his believes. 

After a short pondering he called Derek and Valeria inside the gaming club. He did not want that everyone will know that Valeria is a slave. After entering the gaming club Valeria was at a loss. She had never seen such things. Even as a princess. The equipment, the images on the walls, the wooden floor. Max got everyone to eat a burger and even gave Derek and Valeria a drink. He came back home. He wanted to note it in some type of "celebration" for him coming back after such a long time.

Derek was having much fun with the meal. He did not eat such food for a long time. He could not find anything similar in Manchester. Valeria was generally dumbfounded. She had never had such good food.

After finishing the meal Max started asking the questions that he wanted to ask for a long time. He said: "Derek can you tell me about the slave contract? What it does? What it limits for the person that is in the slave position? Can it be cancelled?"

Derek was confused why Max wanted to know this, but he answered after a short deliberation: "Slave contract give you full control over the slave. If you ask a question the slave has to answer. If the slave resist than there will be a huge backlash. There can be even death if there will be resistance for a long time. The slave contract can be cancelled. The slave owner can give the slave full freedom."

When Derek made the explanation for Max, Valeria lowered her head. She felt that her fate will be set soon enough. 

Max pondered on the explanation and stated to Derek: "Help me free her." 

After saying that he got the slave contract and showed it to Derek. Derek was taken aback and looked at Max and Valeria with a strange gaze. Max did not pay too much attention to it and just said: "It is a long story. Just help me release her."

Derek helped Max to free the women from the contract and it was a success. All this time Valeria was sitting with her head lowered. She was awaiting her tragic fate. After Max told Derek to free her, she was confused, but when she was really freed, she was at a loss for some time and then she started to cry. The crying soon got to a level of wailing. She just fell apart. This continued for a few minutes until she regained her cool. Max even gave her a glass of water to drink. 

After a short silence he asked: "What do you plan on doing now? You are free to decide."

Valeria froze. She dreamed about freedom but now that she got it, she did not know what to do with it.

After a short deliberation she said: "I don't know. I have no family. I have no friends. I was jailed for most of my youth. I don't know how the world work. I know that one of my goals is to take revenge on the ruling family of the Valeria country. To kill them all."

Derek was dumbfounded. Kill the ruling family of a country? What the hell?

Max was also surprised and asked: "Why do you want to kill them?"

Valeria told her life story in short to the duo. After hearing it Max was also sent into a daze.

After some time, Max said: "Well I guess we have one goal in common. I also want to eradicate the ruling class of two countries. Valeria and Eldoria. That's why I am going to the capital to teach and raise some commoner brats. To have more strength in numbers. What I don't have now. You don't have a home right now. You can just travel with me and Derek. We have the possibility to train martial skills here. You are strong. A level one knight. But I'm pretty sure you don't know how to use your power. Getting the battle experience here will help you. Also, I'm interested in checking your talent to cultivate life force. If its sufficient than I can even, make you my permanent assistant in the gaming club. It will have a lot of benefits for you. what do you think? With me here no one really can harm you. With the same goal in mind maybe you can go and be a teacher at the academy as well after some knight training here and raise your own future subordinates."

Max asked the system: 'If I make her a permanent assistant in the store could I cancel it after some time?'

The system answered: 'Yeah you could do it after a year.'

Max nodded to himself. It was fine if he could cancel it.

When Derek heard the story of Valeria of the fact that she was a princess of the Valeria country and then Max talked about her power level of a knight he was really lost. She came as a slave, but she is a princess that can crush him like a little bug. What the hell?

Valeria took time to consider what Max talked about. She had no idea how to face this world. She was sure that even with her strength she could be easily tricked by people. Also, she knew that she was not really a fighter. With Max near her she could feel safe. Now she knew he did not want to do anything bad to her. There were only benefits. They even had the same goal. 

After some deliberation Valeria smiled with happiness with a dazzling smile that owed both men for the first time since her youth. It was also the first time since then that she felt safe. 

She said: "I accept!"
