Student talent levels

Max and the kids got to the gaming club. Max, Valeria, Rey and Drake were relaxed. They had nothing to fear. The rest of the kids were really nervous. They knew that Max had the possibility to promote them even with no existing talent after Drake level up, but it was never a bad thing to have talent. It will only help them to promote. They looked at Rey. They knew he had a high talent for knight training. Because of that he was a level three apprentice knight at the age of 10.

When they entered the club, like all other people that came here before they were baffled. The outside of the building was nothing special, but the inside of it looked like was taken from other time line. Max did not really explain stuff. He told Valeria to check them. He just sat aside and waited. Valeria was a very warm person and Max gave her to check the kids. With her leading them the kids relaxed a little bit. The kids entered one by one. Valeria got the data and handed them to all to Max. He did not even read them. He waited for all the kids to get tested.

After finishing the testing Max said: "I don't really know all of you personally so now when I call a name you come forward and I tell you and the rest of the class your information. If anyone think I should tell it to you only think again. You are a team. You should know about each other. Alright, the first one is Jane."

A young girl with black hair, brown eyes and general average appearance came forward.

Max continued: "Name: Jane. Warrior level: none. Mage level: none. Warrior aptitude: none.

Magic aptitude: low. Fire aptitude: low. Water aptitude: none. Wind aptitude: none.

Earth aptitude: none. Lightning aptitude: none."

When Jane heard the data, she wanted to cry. Max saw this and said: "You don't need to be sad. The fact that you even have an aptitude towards any element is good. The fact you have aptitude toward the fire element mean that you have the ability to study not only support magic skills but also fire attacking magic. You will be a damage dealer in a team. As a level one mage apprentice you will be as strong as a level one knight. Also, you have the ability to study alchemy to a higher level because your fire magic affinity."

After the girl heard what Max said she relaxed a bit and return towards her classmates that threw her encouraging looks.

Max said: "Jessica."

The oldest member of his class arrived. She was seventeen years old. She was a young woman. She was a little uncomfortable to be the oldest in the class. She was like an aunt with a group of kids. Her classmates were girls of the age of twelve to fourteen. She looked very mature. She had big twin peaks. She looked older than her age. The case when a seventeen-year-old looked like a grown woman. The boys of the class were looking at her blushing. It was hard for her to communicate with them. She could only talk about general stuff with the girls. She had a pretty appearance. Had long brown hair and green piercing eyes. She was not a world toppling beauty, but she was fine.

Max nodded and said: " Name: Jessica. Warrior level: none. Mage level: none. Warrior aptitude: none. Magic aptitude: low. Fire aptitude: none. Water aptitude: none. Wind aptitude: none.

Earth aptitude: low. Lightning aptitude: none."

When she heard her information, she nodded and came back to the line of students. At least she was not worse than the others right now. She had the idea what would be her strong and weak places.

Max nodded to her as well and said: "We got a defense-oriented mage as well. It is good. Earth walls and generally a good fighter against knight head on. Not bad. Work hard."

When Jessica heard this, she smiled at Max.

Max continued: "Alice."

Another young girl got toward him. She was very beautiful. She was a blonde girl with blue eyes. She had long legs and slim figure. She was still a girl, but it was obvious that she would be a beauty.

Max continued: "Name: Alice. Warrior level: none. Mage level: none. Warrior aptitude: none.

Magic aptitude: medium. Fire aptitude: none. Water aptitude: none. Wind aptitude: none.

Earth aptitude: none. Lightning aptitude: low."

Alice looked at Max with confusion and said: "Lightning? What this element represents?"

Max nodded. It was a logical question. He said: "You will be a damage dealer with a scary power to stun people by an electrical shock. I'm pretty sure that it will contribute to your ability to move faster. This is very rare power. You are a lucky one. Remember that you better not talk about your affinity with lightning. It can bring you great problems. Generally, all mages you better not speak about your abilities at least until you reach the level one apprentice mage level."

The girl nodded with excitement. She was special in a way and had talent for a rare element. Her prospects in the future should be limitless that way.

After Alice headed back Max called: "Maria."

A cute little girl with black hair and brown eyes headed towards Max. She was a little above average at the look department. Max did not care about that. He only cared about how hard the kids try in the next few months.

Max continued: "Name: Maria. Warrior level: none. Mage level: none. Warrior aptitude: none.

Magic aptitude: low. Fire aptitude: low. Water aptitude: none. Wind aptitude: low.

Earth aptitude: none. Lightning aptitude: none."

When Max looked at the result, he looked at Maria and said: "The fact that you have aptitude towards wind and fire makes you the strongest attacker from distance. The wind element will make you mobile as well."

Maria went back with a high held face and satisfaction. She knew that she was above average at the group of mages for sure.

Max was happy for now. Those girls had higher talent for magic than Felix, the head of the adventure guild association in Manchester city.

Max looked at another blank and said: "Anna."

Anna came forward. She looked like a typical Russian beauty. Blond hair with green eyes. She was bound to create troubles with her looks. Even with the fact that she was only fourteen years old she was starting to bloom. Max was sure that without strength she would almost certainly become a plaything for some noble bastard.

Max continued: "Name: Anna. Warrior level: none. Mage level: none. Warrior aptitude: none.

Magic aptitude: medium. Fire aptitude: none. Water aptitude: medium. Wind aptitude: none.

Earth aptitude: none. Lightning aptitude: none."

Max nodded and said: "You will be more of a support mage. It's not that you cannot attack. You attack capability is just not as strong as fire mages and your defenses are not strong as an earth mage. You have better than average talent in the group. You should think how you will make your element work in the team and how will you fight in the future."

Anna nodded and headed back. She was generally satisfied.

Max got the fact that Valeria arranged the test result by mages and then knight with the girls first and the boys later. Max was fine with that.

He called the last girl with magic talent in the group. Her name was Rachel. She was twelve. She was still looking like a little girl, but her brown eyes were not one of a 12-year-old girl. It looked like she had experienced a lot of things in her short life, and it was not something good.

Max looked at her and the blank in his hands and said: "Name: Rachel. Warrior level: none. Mage level: none. Warrior aptitude: none. Magic aptitude: high. Fire aptitude: none. Water aptitude: none. Wind aptitude: none. Earth aptitude: high. Lightning aptitude: none."

After reading the data aloud Max gave her another look and said: "You have high talent for magic and the earth element. Do not slack off. Work hard."

Rachel looked at Max with a determined gaze and nodded. This girl looked very driven. Max wanted to see if she would be driven in the same way when she will die a few times to the bot.

After Rachel came back to the line all the other kids were tested. Their names were Luke, Jake. They were the boys with a mage talent. For their dismay they did not have any element affinity and their talent for magic was low. They both were sad, but Max consoled them and said that they will be just knights with magic support skills added. They will be very strong. That should be their way. After hearing that the boys got a little more relaxed. Max was pretty sure right now that women had higher talent for magic in general than men in this world. He did not know if it was good or bad, but he took this rule to heart. After that all the kids with knight talent were tested. Their names were Kerry, Lora, Denis, Albert, Alexander, Ahmed, David and Michal. They all got low level of knight talent. Those kids were sad, but Max could only tell them that they needed to work hard. After the test of the abilities of the kids was finished the kids entered the simulation.
